(Stock): Every 60 seconds Karax stores 1 Khalai Pylon charge (Up to 3).

(Passive): Photon Cannon and Shield Battery now have a global cast range, but only when placed within the Power Grid.

(Active): The Arkship warps-in a Khalai Pylon with 1 Health at the target location that becomes active after a 2 second delay, deploying a Power Grid. Multiple Power Grids cannot stack.

Khalai Pylons last for up to 30 seconds and gain Power Grid

The problem with a lot of the engineering concepts is high traffic and "visual clutter" (blizzard's term)... Just look at how they designed Xul, it's very telling as to how they have to limit character's on screen presence. I think this Kit has a tremendous amount of potential but is guilty of visual clutter.

I would try to figure out a way to make Photon Cannon work in very simple terms... There should be concepts in the Boost and Battery that streamline the resource system, while still giving you the same meaningful decisions. I'd figure out which one is gunna facilitate the defense/ sustain and move it to the trait. working with simple and clean concepts like, photon cannon disables when out of range and its duration counts at 200% the rate; means you can negate a lot of visual indicators that'll consume players attention.

A lot of concepts should start like this, doing what ever you need to do to explore the play style and decision making.. then begin to boil it down into something simple and smart. GW this is one of the best concepts i've seen on here

Yeah, I have another Karax variant that has timed lives on the Cannons, Batteries, and Pylons with a sub-variant that also has the Cannons and Batteries lose Health over their duration like Xul's Skeletons - requiring Power Grid's shielding to prevent them from dying quickly (self-damage mechanic bypasses Power Grid's shielding in the spirit of cutting down on "visual clutter".).

I would say that Photon Cannons would move to a maximum upkeep limit, but I prefer to keep that mechanic on my Gazlowe rework.

If the Cannons have timed life then they no longer need an ammo system, further simplifying the ability. Sub-variants also either lose the cooldown penalty with a low cooldown or move to a charge system with a longer cooldown. The ammo system is staying on the Monoliths though, so long as they last until death.

If the Shield Batteries have timed life and lose health over their duration then their shielding upon application scales with a Battery's stored Health Percentage, (I.E. 100% stronger with a 100% stored Health Percentage). Variants have talents to combat this.

I tend to have multiples to even dozens of variants to the same concept, but people tend to only see the variant I post.

I'll update the concept once I decide which variant I'm going to roll with next. Thanks for the criticism, it's way more useful than a vote and move on.
