Karax Is a ranged support/specialist Multiclass hero capable of constructing various structures and either helping your allys with sustained healing and shields or doing your own thing as a poverful splitpusher. his combat stats are comparable with healers exept for having less health and extreme mana costs, but his array of various utility spells and buildings can be a serious threat .

Combat Trait

[D] Pylon
Mana:50
Cooldown:10 seconds

Build a Pylon that generates a power field ,allowing buildings to be built nearby it. While near a pylon, increases your mana regeneration by 100% (both of these effects have tower attack range). The pylon, like all other buildings of karax, builds itself, but it takes 10 seconds until its finished. Maximum 5 pylons

Primary Abilities

Mana:90
Cooldown:8 seconds

Restore 400 health to a targeted hero or building over 8 seconds. This includes Karax's buildings and basic buildings (core,forts etc.). Unlimited Range.

[W] Gateway
Mana:100
Cooldown:20 seconds

Build a Gateway that warps in a Zealot every 20 seconds pushing down the nearest lane, up to 2 per Gateway. each time a Zealot is spawned, Karax loses 10 mana. Zealots are meele minions that charge at enemies, deal medium damage and have high healt. 10 seconds building time. Maximum 3 Gateways

[E1] Shield Battery
This ability is chosen at lvl 1 throgh talents.

Cooldown:10 seconds
Build a Shield Battery, granting nearby allied heroes a 500 HP shield that last 30 seconds. if the target has less then 50% of the shield and is nearby the Shield Battery, the shield is refreshed after 3 seconds. Applying a shield costs Karax 20 mana. It takes 8 seconds until building time is complete.

This ability is chosen at lvl 1 throgh talents.

Cooldown:10 seconds
Build a Photon Cannon, attacking nearby enemies for High damage with low attackspeed. Has the same ai as classic towers(primarily attack minions, then heroes) each attack costs Karax 5 mana. 8 seconds until building time.

Passive:Karax has 20% less movementspeed and can not use regular mounts
Activate to warp in a Warp Prism that allows you to teleport to with your mount ability.

Heroic Abilities

[R] Orbital Strike
Mana:30
Cooldown:0.5 seconds

Fire an orbital strike from the spear of adun, dealing 414 damage (at lvl 10) in an area (about as big as kts basic flamestrike) after a 1 second delay. Unlimited range but requires vision and does not cancel any channels. 20 second cooldown when entering the spawn.

[R] Chrono Wave
Cooldown:100 seconds

Passive: Pylon power fields mana regen bonus and range incresed by 50% and it now applies to allies aswell.

Activate to regenerate 100 Mana per second for 10 seconds. during this time, your cooldowns recharge 200% faster and all allied structures act 400% faster.

After a 3 second channel, teleport to the chosen Warp Prism. Unlimited range.

LVL 1 TALENTS

-[E] Shield Battery

Passive: Repair beam refunds 20 Mana if cast on heroes.
Build a Shield Battery, granting nearby allied heroes a large shield that last 30 seconds. if the target has less then 50% of the shield and is nearby the Shield Battery, the shield is refreshed after 3 seconds. each shield costs Karax 5 mana. It takes 8 seconds until building time is complete.

Cooldown:10 seconds
Passive: Repair beam restores twice as much HP when used on structures.
Build a Photon Cannon, attacking nearby enemies for High damage with low attackspeed. Has the same ai as classic towers(primarily attack minions, then heroes) each attack costs Karax 15 mana. 8 seconds until building time is complete.

Note: When picking either talent all talents in the color of the other can not be picked.

LVL 4 Talents

-[D] Overcharge
Quest: Gathering a regen globe increases the mana regen bonus of pylons by 5%.

-[Passive] Internal Shield Generator
You can use basic attacks on allys, granting them a shield equal to twice the damage they would normally deal to enemy heroes, stacking up to 5 times. These shields last for 3 seconds.

-[Passive] Solarite Drohne
Basic attacks against non-heroes deal 400% more damage.

-[Q]Reinforcement Beam
The target of Repair Beam gains resistance, reducing damage taken by 25%.

LVL 7 Talents

-[E]]Shield Pulse
Shield Batterys can buff all nearby minions with 25% of the normal shield amount for free.

-[E]Advanced Ordnance
Increase the range of Photon cannons to outrange tower and forts and slightly increase their attackspeed.

-[Q]Advanced Repair Systems
Reduce Repair Beams cooldown by 2 seconds and the mana cost by 20.

-[Z]Powerfield
Warp Prisms create a smaller powerfield, like pylons, and Warp Prisms can move slowly, ignoring terrain.

LVL 13 Talents

-[E]Hardened Shield
All shielded heroes can not take more then 250 damage per hit. this value does not scale with levels

-[E]Plasma Shock
Photon Cannons silence enemy heroes they attack for 3 seconds.

-[Active]Construct Observer
Mana:40
Cooldown:40 seconds
Warp in a permanently cloaked observer that reveals an area around it. last 15 seconds after warping in which takes 3 seconds.

-[Q]Deconstruction
Repair Beam can now be targeted on enemy heroes, dealing damage over time equal to 35% of the healing amount and reducing the damage they deal by 25%.

LVL 16 Talents

-[W]Energizer Scematics
Gateways now warp in Energizers which have less health and can not attack but increase the movement and attackspeed of nearby heroes by 50%.
up to 1 Energizer per Gateway.

-[W]Robotics facility
Gateways transform into Robotics facilities, taking 5 additional seconds to build, but they Warp in Immortals. Immortals have same stats as zealots, exept being ranged and dealing double damage to structures and heroes.

-[W]Sentinel Upgrade
Upgrades zealots to Sentinels, which ressurect themselves once every 60 seconds.

-[W]Warpgate
Passive: you can control your zealots and they no longer cost mana.
Active: Choose a location close to a Pylon: all zealots will be warped in at the target location. No cooldown (this does not "teleport" existing zealots, it just puts new zealots produced by gateways at the chosen location)

LVL 20 TALENTS

Note: Karax does not have upgrades for his herorics, these are all standalone talents.

-[E]Solarite Charger
Repair beam last on the target for an infinite amount of time until you change target, even when you die.

-[D]Cannon Rush
Building construction time is reduced to 1 second.

-[Active]Photon Overcharge

Mana:200
Activate to give all allied buildings an additional weapon that last for 15 seconds. the weapon deals as much damage as a normal tower but with slightly more range and individual targeting. Unlimited range. No cooldown to cast but non-karat buildings can only be buffed once every 30 seconds.

-[Active]Stargate
Activate to build a Stargate that slowly warps in carriers, which follow Karax. Carriers are flying units that can not attack but spawn inteceptors which are small flying units that attack enemies. Only one Carrier and Stargate at a time. if karax is dead, the carrier pushes the nearest lane. Stargate builds in 20 seconds, Carriers warp in in 30 seconds and inteceptors are spawned every 2 seconds, up to 8 per carrier.

I really want to see Karax in the Nexus, but i see him more as just specialist, but i like your concept :)

Isn't orbital strike OP with this coolodown?
