Kel'Thuzad

Lord of Naxxramas

Kel'Thuzad was once a human mage of the Kirin Tor. He went on to become the founder of the Cult of the Damned and one of the principal agents of the Lich King responsible for the spreading of the plague of undeath across Lordaeron. After bringing the plague to Lordaeron, he was slain by the paladin Arthas. When Arthas became a death knight, he resurrected Kel'Thuzad as a lich so he could summon Archimonde the Defiler into Azeroth. Following Arthas' departure for Northrend, Kel'Thuzad was left to command the Scourge of Lordaeron from his necropolis, Naxxramas. Following his first defeat, he and his necropolis moved to Northrend.

Combat Trait

Cult of the Damned
Once every 15 seconds, if an enemy minion dies within a radius about Kel'thuzad, he creates a Risen Ghoul. Risen Ghouls have 50% less health than regular minions but deal 100% more damage, attack twice as fast and last for 10 seconds.

Primary Abilities

Frost Nova
Blasts the target area with damaging frost, dealing area damage and slowing Attack Speed and Movement Speed.

Ice Armor
Give an ally a Shield that slows the Attack Speed and Movement Speed of attacking enemies.

Sacrifice
Sacrifice a friendly minion to restore health and mana.

Heroic Abilities

Death and Decay
A channeled ability that inflicts shadow damage per every second to all targets in an affected area for 10 sec.

Finger of Death
After 2 seconds, cast a devastating spell that rips apart an enemy unit in an attempt to turn it inside-out, dealing damage upon them, their children, and their children's children.

TIER 1 TALENTS (Level 1)

Compendium of the Fallen - Risen Ghouls last longer and have more health.

Frozen Bomb - Increases the damage done by Frost Nova to the primary target.  The cool-down for this ability is also slightly increased.

Icemetal - Ice Armor can now be cast on Structures and is 100% stronger and lasts 100% longer when cast on Structures.

Blood Ritual
- Increase the amount of health and mana gained by Sacrifice.

TIER 2 TALENTS (Level 4)

Gathering Power - Passively grants 5% Ability Power. Each Hero takedown increases this bonus by 2% to a maximum of 15%. This bonus Ability Power is reset to 5% on death.

Infectious Ghouls - Your ghouls now infect enemy minions and mercenaries with a disease when attacking, causing them to take damage over time.  If an infected enemy minions dies, it is re-animated as a Risen Ghoul.

Superiority
- Reduce damage taken from Minions, Structures, and Mercenaries by 50%.

TIER 3 TALENTS (Level 7)

Mercenary Lord - Siege and Bruiser Mercenaries near your hero deal 50% more damage.

Soul Harvest - Activate to heal 30% of your max Health over 6 seconds.

Deep Freeze - Your Basic Attacks deal more damage to enemies affected by Frost Nova.

Chilled Armor
- Increases the duration and slowing effects of Frost Armor.

Infectious Ghols - Risen Ghouls explode on death, dealing damage to nearby enemies.

TIER 5 TALENTS (Level 13)

Spell Shield - Upon taking Ability Damage, reduce that damage and further Ability Damage by 50% for 3 seconds. Can only trigger once every 30 seconds.

Delayed Winter -  Reduces Frost Armor's cooldown and the duration does not start until an enemy is nearby.

Frost Blast - Increases the cast range of Frost Nova.

Frost Fever - Frost Nova deals additional damage over time.

TIER 6 TALENTS (Level 16)

Dark Pact - Reduces the cool-down of Sacrifice and summons a Risen Ghoul.

Arcane Barrier - Activate to gain a Shield equal to 200% of your maximum Mana for 3 seconds.

Hardened Focus - While above 80% life, your Basic Ability cooldowns regenerate 50% faster.

Frost Blossum - Casting Ice Armor on an allied Hero deals Frost Nova's damage in a radius around that Hero.  The cooldown on Frost Armor is increased for each enemy Hero hit.

TIER 7 TALENTS (Level 20)

Fury of the Storm - Every 5 seconds, your next Basic Attack will deal an additional 20 damage to the target, and 20 damage to all nearby Minions and Mercenaries.

Bolt of the Storm - Activate to teleport to a nearby location.

Necrosis - Increases the damage done by Death and Decay and reduces the cooldown.

Soul Leech - Heals you for 50% of the damage done by Finger of Death.
