Once a Kirin Tor mage, Kel'Thuzad turned to the Lich King in his search for power. What will the Archlich do now that he entered the Nexus?

#MAKE_KEL'THUZAD_NECROMANT_AGAIN

At some point I realized people tend to overlook all the necromantic abilities of Kel'Thuzad and make concepts of some kind of Frost Mages. He's been a powerful mage before founding the Cult of Damned and after becoming a Lich he's been given even more control over frost magic. But we all love and remember him for being the necromancer, the plague-wielder. If we ever get to see him in the Nexus, I really wish him to be a lich rather than just goofy floatty dull frost mage.

A few comments on the abilities

His trait is a no-brainer. I'm 100% sure when Kel'Thu finally enters the game he will have a similar trait. At first it seems way too powerful but it's a non-combat ability that heavily relies on your teammates being responsive and not being a jerk. It's also a fun mechanic since enemy team can camp The Phylactery to ambush your team. The trait punishes you for acting too aggressive thus in some way restricting the split-push potential.

Designing the hero I came to the realization that the hero is becoming to complex. I had multiple ideas on the Q-ability but decided the hero needs to have an easy-to-understand easy-to-use skill. Besides, who doesn't like Frozen Spikes? THEY LOOK SO COOL

Soldiers of the cold dark is basically the necromancy manifestation. I wanted him to represent the Naxxramas spirit of Kel'Thuzad but didn't want Kel'Thuzad to be "summon only" hero so I merged the three summons into one ability:

1. I was bummed out by the Ghoul representation in HotS. One of the most iconic wc3 units is... a one-shot heal-sacrifice? Oh come on, he deserves so much better. Kel'Thuzad would summon a bigger and more chilly-version (so you won't mistake him for Arthas' minion). I imagine him to deal damage comparable to Zagara's Hydralisk's which would be perfectly balanced considering Ghoul's a melee unit and he doesn't stay on target without talents
2. We all want Acolytes to be in the game, don't we? Our life for Ner'zhul! The ability synergies well with "Last Winter" since this Acolyte also counts. Turning into Shade part can be translated into talents. Note: you can't cast Acolytes during "Last Winter"
3. Same as Ghoul, needs to be bigger and more Kel'Thu-related in order to not be mistaken with Anub's bugs. I imagine talents can lead to an whole swarm-build. Muahahahaha...MUAHAHAHAHAHA
You can only have one of each minion (can be upgraded with talents), they have separate cooldowns and they last until killed

Dark ritual is both a way to kill those pesky living (obligatory "DEATH TO THE LIVING") and save your teammates. Or troll your teammates. Which isn't cool. Don't do this, kids. In talents can be upgraded with "when you target a minion or summon, instantly destroy them and restore a percentage of your mana" as to be true to the origins cuz Kel'Thu-freaking-Zad is da OG

I loved the death timer shenanigans introduced with the release of Gul'dan. Sadly, it's only one talent. Let's bring it to a whole new level! A damaging ability that incentivizes your team to burst certain enemy heroes during short period of time? Yes please! And also I'd love to see the bad-*** animation. The animation part is the most important here. Yeah

And Last but not the least, "Last Winter". It's a funky ulti that no one will ever pick. Except for me. Basically I wanted to take Gul'dan's Rain of Destruction and take it to a whole new level of bad-***ery. The trick here is to cast it so your opponents won't kill all the acolytes before the timer rings. It's a big gamble but rewards with half-of-the-map debuff to all enemies. Can be safely used to defend your structures though it's not as fun. It's a less RNG and more interactive version of Rain of Destruction. Note: Kel'Thu doesn't cast the spell

Oh Majordomo my Majordomo (to the Lich King himself!)

Thank you for your attention. Sorry if the formatting isn't up to the standards, I'm kind of new here.
And if by any chance a blizzard employee happened to see the concept, please, give us Kel'Thuzad. Please-please-please
