Ling

Zergling

Zergling is the basic Zerg warrior in Starcraft Universe. It is fragile, but it makes it up in speed and low death timer (like Murky).
Health: 590+4%
Regen: 24+4%
Mana: None
Attack: 53+4%
Attack Speed: 2.5/s

Combat Trait

1
Rapid Genesis
Ling has a death timer of 5 seconds. Additionally, this trait can be activated once right after respawn in 5 seconds to burrow Ling to a target area on the Battleground.

Primary Abilities

1
Leap
Ling leaps to a targeted enemy, dealing damage. Has 2 charges. Blockable by walls and terrain.
Damage: 92+4%
Cooldown: 4s
2
Adrenal Glands
Increases Ling's attack speed by 30% for 4 seconds. Basic attacks reduce this skill's cooldown by 0.5 seconds.
Cooldown: 14s
3
Burrow
Burrow into the ground, becoming Stealthed for as long as Ling stays burrowed. This skill's cooldown starts after unburrowing.
Cooldown: 15s

Heroic Abilities

1
Raptor Strain
Evolve Ling into Raptor variant, increasing its maximum Health and Base Attack Damage by 50%, and you gain 75% Splash Attack. Additionally, Leap's range and damage is increased by 50%, gains an additional charge, deals 100% Splash Damage to the area around the target, and can be targeted to the ground.
2
Swarmling Strain
Evolve Ling into Swarmling variant, spawning an additional Ling. Each have their Base Attack and Leap Damage reduced by 40%, and their total maximum Health is reduced by 20%. Additionally, , you respawns 2 seconds faster, and your experience award upon dying is reduced by 30%.

(Note: In spite of having an additional Ling, it will not be a separated Hero like The Lost Vikings. They will stay close to each other and move together; they also have one Healthbar, in spite of having separated hitbox; and they will attack and use skills simultaneously. So for example, if they use Leap with 92 damage, both of them will leap to a target and deals 92(-40% from this passive) damage each. Both Lings will receive the same buffs and debuffs if one of them is hit by any, and when one of them die, the other dies as well).

Special Mount

1
Speedling
Ling cannot use Mount. Instead, it moves 40% faster than normal.

awesome awesome awesome concept dude! a fast paced frantic/manic little zerg darting around the battlefield sounds like soooo much fun! makes me want to play it right now! only thing i think might make it even more awesome is if in fact Swarmling Strain does make the clone a separate hero like samuros clones! me personally would probably still pick the first ult cuz im not so good with micro but i think if the clones could be controlled separately that it would open up so many possibilities and make the hero even more awesome! im imagining two little fast and furious zerglings flanking a solo enemy and pouncing it from both sides! anyways,, i still love ur concept and would love love love to play it!!
