Maiev

Leader of the Watchers

Maiev Shadowsong, Leader of the Watcher, was a Warden of Illidan Stormrage. After Tyrande let Illidan free during the time of second demon invasion, Maiev was on unending hunt for Illidan, and when she finally caught him, she left the scene for a long long time. But after many years, she returns in before third and largest demon invasion ever, which is presented in WoW as a expansion Legion. So during this year, Maiev has a big chance of becoming a Hero in Heroes of the Storm.
This is how I imagine her, I hope you like it. I did not put Mana Costs on spells because I am still not sure how to balance that but everything else should be here. Keep in mind some numbers are maybe not in tact, but I tried my best. I will be adding talents if people find this concept fun.

I am really liking this concept! I made one myself, I'd love it if you could comment on mine.

I really love the Watcher's Sight passive. That's really Maiev-like. What's more is that I think that Maiev should function as a counter to (other) assassins. It should be a character that Illidan doesn't want to face head-on, if you get what I'm saying, because that creates this nice game-narrative of the Illidan player trying to evade the Maiev player and the Maiev player trying to catch the Illidan player.

I really like that you chose Shadow Step. We need a great diversity of blinks, I think, rather than blinks which' numbers are different. So, here's what I'm thinking. It can be a bit tricky to Shadow Step and have it work in a way that you actually benefit from teleporting behind someone. Latency issues could translate in teleports behind someone as being unable to catch up ever.

But, aside from that complaint, you know what'd be cool? If the Watcher's Sight had some sort of interplay with Shadow Step. That you can instantly teleport to anyone whom has your Watcher's Sight cast upon them. Even if they have recently blinked themselves. That way, you can use it to teleport all over the map. But maybe that's better as an ultimate? If this were the case, I'd also say that Watcher's Sight only activates on enemy heroes that dealt damage to you rather than you having dealt damage to them.

And, on top of that, maybe there's a talent or maybe this is part of it from the start where your shadow strike becomes a targeted attack and the range of your Shadowstrike becomes longer. Maybe variable depending on how long the timer is (the less time on the debuff, the short the distance for rubberbanding purposes, or the inverse if you want to add more reliability to Shadow Strike).

I hope you like my feedback!

Feel free to comment on my own! It's a different take on the hero and I hope you'll like it. :)
