After Malfurion's return Fandral was taken to Moonglade as a Prisoner of the Cenarion Circle at the behest of the Dragon Alysra who turned out to be corrupted by the Twilight's Hammer Clan and freed Fandral of his Chains before the two kneeled to the Firelord Ragnaros. Fandral became Ragnaros' Majordomo and Archdruid of the Flame while Alysra became Alysrazor.

From then on Fandral served within the Firelands before Heroes of Azeroth came and slew him on the Steps of the Sulfuron Keep, banishing him to the Nexus where he ponders his inevitable Revenge.

Combat Trait

Druid of the Flame
Fandral has merged his power over Nature and Fire to create his own form of Druidism and this allows him to transform into a Flaming Nightsabre at will. While in this form Fandral has access to 2 new Basic Abilities.
Cooldown: 1 second.

Mana: 30.

Primary Abilities

Searing Seeds (Night Elf Form)
Fandral will place three seeds that grow within the target every 3 seconds so at 3 seconds, 6 seconds and 9 seconds another Seed will grow. After a Seed grows it will either deal 32 (+13/level) Damage to the target and enemies around them or it will root the target for 2 seconds.
Cooldown: 18 seconds.
Duration: 9 seconds.
Mana: 50.

Burning Orbs (Night Elf Form)
Fandral will Summon 3 Flaming Orbs to hover around a targeted Friendly Hero that when an Orb is triggered it will heal them for 24 (+12/level) over 3 seconds and apply a Burn to the Enemy that deals 62 (+18//level) Damage over 5 seconds. Each Basic Attacks against the Hero will consume 1 Orb and the Orbs Burn damage will stack but not increase in duration.
Orbs: 3.
Duration: 12.
Cooldown: 14 seconds.
Mana: 45.

Flaming Cyclone (Either Form)
Fandral will unleash a Torrent of Flame in a Wide, Frontal Cone that initially deals 44 (+9/level) Damage to targets hit and will apply a Burn that deals 92 (+16/level) Damage over 10 seconds as well as Knocking Enemies away.
Cooldown: 16 seconds.
Mana: 90.

Secondary Abilities

Leaping Flames [Nightsabre Form]
Leap behind Targeted enemy dealing 52 (+17/level) damage to the target and apply a Burn that deals 110 (+12/level) over 5 seconds.
Cooldown: 10 seconds.
Mana: 75.

Flame Scythe [Nightsabre Form]
Fandral will Rake his Claws in a frontal Cone dealing 65 (+14/level) Damage to all enemies and will Refresh the Burn of Leaping Flames.
Cooldown: 12 seconds.
Mana: 55.

Flaming Cyclone (Either Form)
Fandral will unleash a Torrent of Flame in a Wide, Frontal Cone that initially deals 44 (+9/level) Damage to targets hit and will apply a Burn that deals 92 (+16/level) Damage over 10 seconds as well as Knocking Enemies away.
Cooldown: 16 seconds.
Mana: 90.

Heroic Abilities

Engulfing Hurricane
Fandral will spawn a Flaming Hurricane at a target location that deals 32 (+44/level) Damage every second and slowly be sucking enemies to the Center. I will use Skyreach as the example where you fight the Wind to go upstairs from Rukhran to High Sage Viryx.
Can be Cast in either Form.

Duration: 6 seconds.
Cooldown: 60 seconds.

Mana: 120.

Scorpion of the Flame
Fandral will loose the Ability to switch into his Nightsabre form but will instead take on the Appearance of a Scorpion with 20% increased Health and 2 new Abilities to Replace Leaping Flames and Flame Scythe. All Talents that affect Nightsabre Form or Shifting Forms will also apply the same or a different effect to Scorpion of the Flame.

Savage Charge [Scorpion Form]
Charge a targeted Enemy dealing 59 (+19/level) damage and Slow them by 50% decaying over 5 seconds as well as applying a Burn that deals 108 (+13/level) Damage over 5 seconds.
Replaces Leaping Flames.
Talents that affect Leaping Flames will apply the same or similar effect.

Cooldown: 10 seconds.
Mana: 85.

Puncture [Scorpion Form]
Fandral will thrust his Barbed Tail at his Enemy dealing 49 (+12/level) Damage and deal 50% increased Damage if the Target is Burned.
Replaces Flame Scythe.
Talents that affect Flame Scythe will apply the same or similar effect.

Charges: 3.
Recharge: 8 seconds.
Mana: 45.

Special Mount

1
Flaming Flight Form (Cosmetic Only)

Tier 1 - Level 1:

1. Feline Swiftness [Passive]: While in Flaming Cat Form Fandral's Movement Speed is increased by 20%. While in Scorpion Form Basic Attack Speed is increased by 20%.

2. No Escape [E]: Instead of Knocking Targets away, Flaming Cyclone will Slow targets for 5 seconds increasing by 20% every second and at 100% slow the target will be rooted for a 6th second.

3. Blazing Inferno [E]: Flaming Cyclone no longer deals Burn Damage but instead deals 75% of the Potential Burn Damage in the initial blast.

4. Kneel to the Flame [E]: Flaming Cyclone's Knock Away Distance and Range is increased by 30% while in Normal Form.

5. Taste for Burnt Hide [Passive]: Basic Attacks against targets affected with Fandral's Burns deals 50% increased Damage.

6. Survival Instincts [Passive]: Basic Attacks against targets affected with Fandral's Burns return 6 Mana per Hit.

Tier 2 - Level 4:

1. Burning Embers [W]: Burning Orbs now Generates 4 Orbs instead of 3 and lasts 3 seconds longer.

2. Warm Embrace [W]: Flame Scythe will now pull the targets to Fandral and its Range is increased by 20%. Puncture will now Pull Targets toward Fandral and its Range is increased by 50%.

3. Searing Scythe [W]: Flame Scythe will now apply the Burn from Leaping Flames if the target does not have it and will refresh existing Burns. Puncture deals 100% increased damage against Burned targets, refreshes the Burn of Savage Charge and looses 1 Charge.

4. Vampiric Assault

Tier 3 - Level 7:

1. Primal Grace [Trait]: When switching into or out of Flaming Nightsabre Form all Root and Slow Effects against Fandral will be removed.

2. Feel the Burn [Q]: The Burn Damage of Leaping Flames is now applied to enemies in an area. The Burn Damage of Savage Charge restores 15% of Damage Dealt as Healing to Fandral.

3. Spirit of the Flames [Q]: A Flame Spirit will be summoned on the Target of Leaping Flames that deals X (+X/level) damage and persists for 6 seconds. If the Target of Leaping Flames dies the Spirit will Prioritize the nearest Enemy Hero. Same effect on Scorpion of the Flame.

Tier 5 - Level 13:

1. Shapemender [Trait]: Shifting forms now restores 5% of Max Health but increases the Cooldown to 5 seconds.

2. Master of Shapeshifting [Trait]: Shapeshifting no longer costs Mana and instead restores 60 upon use.

3. Savage Defense [Trait]: Shifting into Nightsabre Form will reduce Damage taken by 20% for 3 seconds but increase the Cooldown of Shift to 5 seconds.

4. Enflamed Spheres [W]: The Healing and Damage of Burning Orbs is increased by 100% and the targets movement Speed is increased by 15% for 3 seconds when applied.

Tier 6 - Level 16:

1. Flaming Stag [Z]: Fandral will lose the Ability to use his Mount but instead may instant cast into a Flaming Stag that moves 10% faster than normal Mounts and he may Carry one Friendly Hero.

2. Dash [Passive]: For 4 seconds after using Leaping Flames on an Enemy Hero Fandral's Movement Speed will be increased by 50%.

3. Blood for Blood

4. Adrenaline [Passive]: Using Abilities increases Basic Attack Speed by 5% per Ability used up to a Maximum of 45% increased Basic Attack Speed. After 6 seconds of not using an Ability all Stacks are Lost.

Tier 7 - Level 20:

1. Any Ideas for Heroic Upgrades let me know

3. Keeper of the Flame [Passive]: All abilities may now be cast in Flaming Nightsaber/Scorpion Forms and will show up on the Active Bar like Envenom or Cleanse.

4. Prowl [Active]: While in Nightsabre Form Fandral may Activate this Ability to become Stealthed for 30 seconds. If Leaping Flames or Flame Scythe is used breaking Stealth they will deal 25% increased Initial and Burn Damage.
Cooldown: 20 seconds.

An Illidari Theme in his Night Elf Form and a Fel Flame Nightsabre and Scorpion Form and new Fel Fire Graphics for his Abilities.

Lichlord Fandral
A Scourge Lich Theme Night Elf Form with Plague Infested Nightsabre and Scorpion (Like Animals in Eastern Plaguelands) with Death Knight Inspired Graphics for Abilities.

My ideas for Heroic upgrades: First one: Blazing maelstrom: The pullin is much stronger and at the end of the ability, all affected are Burned. Second one: Incarnation: Piercer of the Firelands: Become an improved version of the scorpion which has 30 % more attack and ability power and have a searing aura around yourself. Change if it is to powerful or if doesn't fit with your concept. =)

Pretty good and opens the gate for a variety of play styles and builds.
