Field Medic Extraordinaire

A guardian angel to those who come under her care, Dr. Angela Ziegler is a peerless healer, a brilliant scientist, and a staunch advocate for peace. She is one of the most gifted doctors in the world when it comes to medical technology, and has applied such technology to her own body.

This Hero will be a true Support, with limited offensive power, focusing primarily on providing healing or damage increases to her allies. Her Basic attack will be ranged, with a fast attack speed. Her trait will provide a boost to laning, more so with talents, but it's not a task she should take on by herself.

Costs, cooldowns, etc are just rough estimates, and are open to tweaking. Also the names for her Q and W abilities are mundane, and could use some jazzing up.

Combat Trait

Minions Never Die!
Mercy is able to resurrect recently fallen allied Minions in the targeted area. Minions return to life with full health. Only Minions killed in the last 15 seconds can be resurrected - eligible targets will be noted with a small golden orb.
Mana cost: LOW
Cooldown: 45 seconds
Passive: All Minions in the vicinity of Mercy take 50% less damage

Caduceus Staff - Healing
Mercy utilizes her staff to direct a beam at friendly Heroes that heals their wounds, replenishing a MODERATE amount of health every second as long as they are in range. Reactivate to switch targets. Targeting yourself, utilizing another Ability, or becoming CCed cancels the effect.
Mana cost: LOW per second
Cooldown: .5 second

CADUCEUS STAFF - DAMAGE
Mercy powers-up the targeted allied Hero, increasing their damage dealt by 15% as long as they are in range. Reactivate to switch targets. Targeting yourself, utilizing another Ability, or becoming CCed cancels the effect.
Mana cost: LOW per second
Cooldown: .5 second

Guardian Angel
Mercy's Valkyrie Suit allows her to swiftly fly to allies within a moderate range. Upon reaching her target, she gains 25% movement speed for 3 seconds.
Mana cost: MODERATE
Cooldown: 18 seconds

Heroic Abilities

Staff Overload
Mercy supercharges her Caduceus Staff, releasing a burst of a energy around her after .75 seconds that heals herself and all friendly Heroes in range for a HIGH amount every second for 3 seconds, as well as increasing their damage by 25% for 3 seconds.

Cooldown: 75 seconds

Paramedic
Prototype upgrades to the Valkyrie Suit allow Mercy to home-in on allied Heroes from a great distance, and fly to them at incredible speeds. Upon arrival, she provides her target with 20 Armor, reducing damage taken by 20% for 3 seconds.
Mana cost: LOW
Cooldown: 60 seconds

This Heroic will have a global range.

Talents

Level 1

  • Patching You Up: (QUEST) Utilize Caduceus Staff - Healing for 5 minutes. (REWARD) Caduceus Staff - Healing heals for an additional 20% per second.
  • Damage Amplified: (QUEST) Utilize Caduceus Staff - Damage for 5 minutes. (REWARD) Caduceus Staff - Damage increases the target's damage by an additional 15%
  • Make It Count: Resurrected Minions deal 50% more damage

Level 4

  • Right Beside You: 35% of healing done by Caduceus Staff - Healing also heals Mercy.
  • Valkyrie Upgrade: Mercy gains Unstoppable when utilizing Guardian Angel. Also reduces the cooldown of Guardian Angel by 4 seconds.
  • Oathbreaker: If used on the same target for 3 seconds, Caduceus Staff - Damage causes the targeted Hero to inflict 16 (+4% per level) damage per second to nearby enemies. Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes increase this damage by 20% for 3 seconds. This can stack up to 3 times.
  • Lifesaver: (QUEST) Every Minion resurrected reduces the Mana cost of her Abilities by 0.2%. (REWARD) Resurrecting 50 Minions reduces the Mana cost of Abilities by an additional 10%

Level 7

  • Valkyrie Shields: Mercy's suit has been enhanced for increased protection, providing her with 15 Armor, reducing damage taken by 15%.
  • Where Does It Hurt?: If used on the same target for 3 seconds, Caduceus Staff - Healing grants the targeted Hero 10 Armor, reducing damage taken by 10%.
  • Cleanse: Activate to make target ally Unstoppable for 1 second. Cannot be cast on yourself.

Level 13

  • Mercs Never Die, Either!: Mercy's trait can now be utilized on non-boss Mercenaries, allowing her to resurrect them, as well as extending her protection to them if nearby. Resurrected Mercenaries will not be affected by Make It Count.
  • Evacuate: Guardian Angel now has 2 charges. Upon arrival, her target receives a 25% Movement Speed boost for 3 seconds.
  • Powered Up: Caduceus Staff - Damage also increases Basic Attack speed by 20%.
  • Spell Shield: Every 30 seconds, gain 50 Spell Armor against the next enemy Ability and subsequent Abilities for 3 seconds, reducing the damage taken by 50%. Can be toggled to allow or prevent this talent from triggering automatically.


Level 16

  • Battle Mercy: Mercy's Basic Attacks deal 25% more damage. Every 3rd Basic Attack deals an additional 50% damage.
  • Biotic Field: Minions within range of Mercy heal for a LOW amount every second.
  • First Responder: Increases the range of Guardian Angel by 50%.

Level 20

  • Biotic Corruption: The energy released by Staff Overload also affects enemy Heroes, reducing their damage dealt by 35% and reducing their Movement Speed by 50% for 3 seconds.
  • Pararescue: Reduces the cooldown of Paramedic to 45 seconds. Upon arrival, Mercy provides 40 Armor to her target and surrounding allied Heroes, reducing damage taken by 40% for 3 seconds.
  • Unbound Tethers: Mercy pushes her Caduceus Staff beyond safety parameters, causing her beams to also hit an allied Hero near her target. This secondary target receives 25% of the effects. Applies to both Caduceus Staff - Healing and Caduceus Staff - Damage.
  • Storm Shield: Activate to give all nearby allied Heroes a Shield for 20% of their max Health for 3 seconds.
