Primary Abilities

[Q] - Frost Shock
Cooldown: 0.5 Seconds
Mana Cost: 1 Mana Crystal
Deal 77 damage and slow a target by 30% for 2.5 seconds. If the target is still slowed from a previous Frost Shock, root the target for 0.75 seconds then apply the slow, this root effect can only occur every 3 seconds.

[W] - Riptide
Cooldown: 1.5 Seconds
Mana Cost: 3 Mana Crystals
Heal nearby allies for 142 and an additional 235 health over 5 seconds. If an allied hero is still under the effects of the extra healing over time when cast again, the remaining healing over time is instantly healed as well.

[E] - Lava Burst
Cooldown: 2 Seconds
Mana Cost: 2 Mana Crystals
Fire a burst of lava that deals 203 damage to the first target hit and deals an additional 181 damage over 3 seconds. Leaves an area of lava were the target was hit. Enemies that walk through that area take 59 damage per second, lasts 4 seconds. Areas of lava do not stack.

Restore 42 health per second to allied heroes in an area for 8 seconds. Global range.

[R2] - Spirit Link Totem
Cooldown: 16 Seconds
Mana Cost: 4 Mana Crystals
Create a totem that causes all allies within the area gain 25 Armor and distribute all damage taken equally between all allies within the area. Lasts 8 seconds.

Level 1 Talents

Flame Shock - Activate to deal 224 damage to an enemy Hero over 8 seconds, if Lava Burst impacts this hero within 8 seconds it deals 50% increased damage. Uses 1 Mana Crystal. Cooldown: 35 Seconds.

Mana Tide - Riptide restores 10% of nearby allies maximum mana over 3 seconds. Increases Mana Crystal cost by 1.

High Tide - Quest: Gathering Regeneration Globes causes your basic abilities to recharge twice as fast for 3 seconds. Reward: After gathering 20 Globes, increase the radius of Riptide by 20%.

Freezer Burn - If Frost Shock affects an enemy who is within Lava Burst

Level 4 Talents

Lava Surge - Quest: Increases projectile speed and initial damage of Lava Burst by 25%. Reward: After enemies spend a total of 30 seconds in your area of lava, Increases the area of lava duration by 1 second for each Mana Crystal spent within 2 seconds.

Deep Healing - Increases the healing over time of Riptide by 30% and the duration by 2 seconds.

Healing Tide Totem - Activate to place a Totem that heals allies in an area for 5% of their max Health every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 30 Seconds. Uses 1 Mana Crystal.

Level 7 Talents

Restorative Waves - If an allied hero is still under the effects of the healing over time of Riptide when Riptide is cast again, slows, and roots are removed from the target.

Astral Recall - Target an ally with your Hearthstone, both of you are returned to the hall of storms in half the time. Only can be cancelled if the user is interrupted. Uses 1 Mana Crystal when also bringing an ally.

Cleanse Spirit - Activate to make target ally Unstoppable and increase movement speed by 20% for 2 seconds. Can be cast on yourself. Uses 2 Mana Crystals. Cooldown: 45 Seconds.

Molten Earth - Increases the area left behind by Lava Burst by 30% and doubles its damage.

Level 13 Talents

Water Shield - If an allied hero is still under the effects of the healing over time of Riptide when Riptide is cast again, the target also gains a shield equal to 8% of their maximum health for 5 seconds.

Heart of Ice - Targets slowed or rooted by Frost Shock receive 40% less healing from all sources.

Hypothermic Freeze - Frost Shock applies a stun instead of a root.

Brain Freeze - After being rooted, targets of Frost Shock are silenced for 2 seconds.

Level 16 Talents

Resurgence - If all of your basic abilities were casted within 7 seconds, instantly restore 2 Mana Crystals. Can only occur every 15 Seconds.

Icefury - Your next Frost Shock casts twice at once and costs 0 Mana Crystals. Cooldown: 45 Seconds.

Spirit Walk - Activate to increase your movement speed by 15% for 6 seconds and walk through any obstacles you walk into within 6 seconds, abilities cannot be used when walking through an obstacle.

Level 20 Talents

Thunderstorm - Every 4 seconds, enemies within the area take 364 damage.

Grounding Totem - All allies within the area are Unstoppable and increases Armor to 35.

Ascendance - Activate to increase your ability power by 15% and your basic abilities do not consume Mana Crystals for 1.5 seconds times the number of Mana Crystals consumed. Uses all your remaining Mana Crystals. Cooldown: 50 seconds.

Wellspring - Replaces your Heroic Ability. Uses all your remaining Mana Crystals. Heal all allies in a wide arc in front of you for 142 health times the number of Mana Crystals consumed. Cooldown: 40 seconds.

I really like this concept, scratch that, I freaking love this concept. I'd love to play this supp, fast cd skills all over the place, managing your crystals to make the most out of them. Sounds like a lot of fun. Would be my go to supp everytime

Having said that, first I think that his healing rain is way too similar to Malf healing ult. The upgrade is great though.
Second I would increase both ultimates CD's and remove the mana crystals cost.
Third, just by reading the numbers, it would seem that you would run out of mana crystals really fast, and won't be able to restore them as fast. It has to be made and tested, but just by reading it would seem that all crystal regeneration talents would be a must pick, leaving other good talents allways out. I would make it that active talents don't cost any crystals to be cast, or making the crystals refresh a bit faster. Maybe they regenerate faster when you pick a globe/fountain and when you deplete all of them. That could be a tier 1 talent too.
And last, the level 20 talents, they are great, they feel really good. I don't know how much of a must the extre 3 crystals would be, specially if you pick other regen talents. The wellspring could turn around lost tfs and win games (would reduce cd though, specially if it leaves you with no mana). And I would make thunderstorm 20 talent make it heal a bit more maybe.

I hope I'm not striking as a complainer, this are just things I think might hinder the character's gameplay, but I tell you for sure, this is my new main healer and is not even released in ptr yet. What do you think about the things I'd change? Oh and also how would you feel about throwing in some dmg buffing talents so he can have a more dps route?
