Omega

Moebius hybrid

Omega is a melee/ranged assassin designed to adapt to most of situations.

His trait grants him armor depending on the damages he receives and can used as a mobility tool. (For more visibilty, his bioluminescences changes color depending on his armor type)

His Z is a "fenix style" basic attack mode swap, making them melee or range.

Fight a tank or melee assassin? use sharpclaws to make melee attacks, use vortex to push back a danger, and use void particle to deal a lot of damages.

Fight a mage? Use mind blast to make range attacks, use vortex to approach him, and use void particule to deal damages he wont avoid.

Fight auto attacker? Use lvl13 venom to decrease attack speed.

Fight stealth or high healer comp? Use level 16 calamity to reveal and decrease healings...

Fight armored or shielded comps? Use level 20 nemusis to break shields and ignore armors.

His first ult is a kind of team smoke screen, breaking ranged enemies view.

Second ult grants more control.

Combat Trait

Adaptative physiology
when suffer basic attack damages, lose stored psionic barrier charges and gain one terran armor charge. 3 charges max.
when suffer spell damages, lose stored terran armor charges and gain one psionic barrier charge. 3 charges max.

each charge of terran armor grants 10 physical armor. each charge of psionic barrier grants 10 spell armor.

Activate to lose all charges and increase move speed by 10% per charge lost for 2.5 seconds. 15 seconds cooldown

Primary Abilities

Void particle
Mana : 50
cooldown : 12 seconds
very long range, point'n'click

After 0.5 seconds, cast a slow-moving particle that deals 300 damage to an enemy Hero. (moves like pyroblast)

the more the particle travels, the less it moves slowly the less it deals damages, but the more aera grows :
travel less than one second : 300 damages, no aera, 50% more move speed.
travel between 1 and 2 seconds : 225 damages on a small aera, 25% more move speed.
travel more than 2 seconds : 150 damages on a medium aera.

Attack mode
Activate to change between Weapon Mode: Sharp claws and Weapon Mode: mind blast

Weapon Mode: Sharp claws: Basic Attacks are melee are cleave on a small aera.

Weapon Mode: Mind blast: Basic Attacks are range (same as li ming), but deals 40% less damages

mana : 50
cooldown : 14 seconds
long range, point'n'click

moves the target enemy on a medium distance and deals 75 damages. the direction depends on weapon mode :

Sharp claws : moves away from Omega.

Mind blast : moves toward Omega, but move distance is halved.

Heroic Abilities

Create a large Void Field at Omega's current location that lasts 4 seconds

enemies outside the field cannot see inside. Ennemies inside the field cannot see outside.

Omega deals 25% more damages when he stands in the field.

cooldown : 15 secondds
long range, point'n'click

Deal 100 damage and Stuns the target for 1.25 seconds.

Level 1 - mobility/control

Hypermetabolism
Quest : collect regen globes Decrease adaptative physiology cooldown by 0.5 seconds, up to five seconds reduction .
Reward : after collect 10 regen globes, increase move speed duration by 1 second

Long travel.
Increases vortex move distance by 20%, and make it slow enemy by 20% for 1.5 seconds

Whormhole
Increase vortex range by 20%
Quest : cast 5 vortex with each weapon mode.
Reward : Basic attacks against heroes decrease vortex cooldown by one second.

Level 4 - attack mode

Rampage
Increase sharp claw radius by 50%. Mind blast bounces up to one more enemy

Humiliation
Increase sharp claw attack speed by 20%. Increase mind blast range by 1

Absorpion
Increase sharp claw damages by 20%. Mind blast heals for 20% of damages dealt

Level 7 - void particle

Polarisation
Increase void particle damage by 30% on its first 0.5 seconds.
Increase void particle radius by 40% after 2.5 seconds.

Antimatter
Void particle deals its damages on a small aera on its first second.
Removes its damage loss

Annihilation
Void particle decrease armor by 20 on its first 1.5 seconds,
an decrease spell power by 40% after 1.5 seconds.
Those effects last for 3 seconds

Level 13 - defense

Perfect physiology
Adaptive physiolgy doesn't remove charges anymore, but charges last for 5 seconds.

Bioluminescence
Adaptative physiolgy grants 15 armor per charge.

Anti venom
Basic attacks against heroes deals 10% more damages over 3 seconds and removes 30% of the damages over time affecting Omega.

Level 16 - misc

Agressive vortex
Vortex deals an additional amount of damages equal to 5% of enemy's maximumu health

Void wave.
Secondary.
50 seconds cooldown
Cast an untalented vortex on every enemy on a medium radius around omega.

Calamity
Secondary.
30 seconds cooldown.
Reveals enemies for 4 seconds on a large aera around omega. Affected enemies receive 40% less heals for the duration.

Level 20 - storm

Void storm.
You can now choose the location of the field (global range). While active, can be reactivated once to change location

Brain destruction
Brain shock silences and blinds its target for 2.5 seconds.

God particle.
Removes void particle cast time and gain all level 7 talents.

Nemesis.
Increase maximum life by 20%
Deals 150% more damages to shields
Ignore enemies armor
heroic ability cooldown runs 20% faster.

[Adaptive Physiology] is worded weirdly. Does it make you lose ALL Physical/Spell Armor when activated? How can it even stack if any Basic Attack will constantly make you lose Armor?

[Attack Mode] is a rather boring ability name for a Hybrid. How much range exactly does [Mind Blast] have? This is quite important.

idk... its a projectile, so "usual" range i think

[Vortex] is broken in [Mind Blast] mode. Garrosh used to pull enemies towards him with Q. This was removed very quickly.
i dont completly agree. the problem with Garrosh is that he had 2 abilities to move enemies (and one of them in ae) : too punitive.

[Vortex] should probably say "away from" instead of "backward" in [Sharp Claws] mode.

Does "self cast" on [Void Field] mean that it's created around Omega? If so, it's better to say "Create a large Void Field at Omega's current location that lasts 4 seconds".

i confess i didn't think about it. all enemies looks funnier, but maybe too strong?

[Brain Shock] is poorly designed. It's an unavoidable Stun that can affect the entire enemy team and win the match without much skill involved.

It's hard to evaluate how strong [Long Travel] is. How much is "medium" distance?
exactly what you think it should be to be balanced ! its just a cocept...

If [Void Particle] truly moves at the same speed as Pyroblast, then all level 7 talents do almost nothing, as it is basically impossible to hit someone with Pyroblast even within 2 seconds.
KT is allways far away. Omega is an hybrid melee/range : a void particle casted at melee range will probably hit very quicqly. its also a part of the cocncept.

[Venom] feels out of place for a damage dealer.
i wanted something to adapt against melee attackers.

[Adaptive Vortex] is not really adaptive when it just increases its damage.
the aim here is : in melee mode, damages on hp to face tanks, in range mode, flat damages against squishy mages.

[Calamity] lasting 6 seconds with such an insane healing reduction is too much.

[Brain Lag] should definitely be renamed.

[Nemesis] does not feel like a level 20 talent.

i confess i had not good ideas for a fourth level 20... increased some values but if you have an idea.

Just name a Hero that has a similar Attack Range.

the problem with Garrosh is that he had 2 abilities to move enemies
He had to hit them while also being nearby. This one literally targets them.

stun duration reduced
Poorly designed is not something that can be fixed with numerical changes. The ability is broken at its core. You cannot balance something that only requires a click to potentionally win any fight.

Pyroblast moves VERY slowly. Also, seeing how it has "very long range", I do not see much of a difference between Kael and Omega in terms of how far away they can be when casting it.
