He was also the warden of Izual during many long years that the angel suffered in Rakanoth's own Plains of Despair, but he has quit his realm unexpectedly in recent times."

AURA OF DESPAIR (D)

Passive:
Rakanoth spreads despair to all those he touches. Whenever an enemy takes damage from Rakanoth they gain 1 despair, slowing their attack and movement speed by 5%. Despair can stack up to 3 times. each stack lasts 5 seconds.

Rakanoth can expend/remove all despair stacks to deal 30 (+12 per level) damage per stack removed this way to enemies affected by Aura of Despair.

Rakanoth teleports to the player and lunges his blades into the target hero dealing 75(+15 per level) damage.

Rise into the air, spreading your arms outwards and fire volleys of energy at nearby visible enemy units for 4 seconds for 15 (+6.75 per level) damage per hit, prioritizing Heroes over Minions. Rakanoth is able to move while Volleying. Can be interrupted.

Create a duplicate of yourself that mimics you (attacking the same target and using the same moves) dealing 50% damage.

You can dismiss your aspect to deal 100 (+20 per level) damage to all enemies near the aspect.

Talents

Tier 1 - Level 1:

1. Block: Periodically reduces the damage received from Hero Basic Attacks by 50%. Stores up to 2 Charges.

2. Seasoned Marksman: For every 6 minion kills or Mercenary kills near your Hero, gain 1 Basic Attack Damage. Hero takedowns count as 2 Minion kills.

3. Phase Shift (E): Upon using Assassinate, reduce incoming damage by 20% for 3 seconds.

4. Forceful Cleave (Q): Cleave now knocks back enemies that are further away.

Tier 2 - Level 4:

1. Vampiric Assault: Basic Attacks heal for 15% of the damage dealt to the primary target.

2. Expose Weakness: Deal extra damage to de-buffed enemies.

3. Wide Arc (Q): Cleave now damages all enemies in a 180 degree radius around Rakanoth

4. Death Comes For You (W): Increases Dash's range by 20%.

5. Marked for Death (W): Increase Dash's attack damage by 100%.

1. Follow Through: After using an ability, your next Basic Attack within 6 seconds deals 40% additional damage.

2. Soul Rip (Q): Cleave will now reduce the cooldown of Assassinate by 1 seconds per target hit who is immediately close to you.

3. Blades of Despair: Your Basic Attacks now silence for 1 second.

4. Crippling Assasination (E): Assassinate will now slow your target by 15% for 2 seconds.

5. Searing Attacks: Activate to increase basic attack damage by 50% for 5 seconds. each attack costs 15 mana.

1. Giant Killer: Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes deal bonus damage equal to 1.5% of the Hero's max Health.

2. Spell Shield: Upon taking Ability Damage, reduce that damage and further ability damage by 50% for 2 seconds. Can only trigger once every 30 seconds.

3. This Won't Hurt A Bit (E): Assasinate can now be cast on friendly targets and buildings. When used this way, the cooldown is reduced by 5 seconds.

4. Devour Hope (D): upon using Aura of Despair grant all allies within a (lane-widths) radius 30% movement speed.

5. Relentless: Reduces the duration of Silences, Stuns, Slows, Roots, and Polymorphs against your hero by 50%.

1. Blood for Blood: Activate to steal 15% of target enemy's Max Health and slow its movement by 30% for 3 seconds.

2. Stoneskin: activate to gain 30% of your max health as a shield for 5 seconds.

3. Executioner: basic attacks deal 40% more damage to units that are slowed, rooted or stunned.

4. The Worth of a Soul (D): Minions killed in your range now grant double Souls.

BACKGROUND

Rakanoth served as a warden to the imprisoned angel Izual, whom he guarded in the Plains of Despair - his own domain in the Burning Hells. He also fought in the Great Conflict, battling Tyreal on at least one occasion.

When Diablo incorporated the essences of the six other Great Evils through the Black Soulstone and became the all powerful Prime Evil, he emptied almost all of Hell's various realms in order to create an army for a massive assault on the High Heavens. Rakanoth was among those he summoned and was assigned the task of guarding the archangel Auriel holding her captive in the Library of Fate. However, the Nephalem rescued the angel and slew Rakanoth in combat, thus bringing hope back to all of angelkind in their darkest hour.
