MATCHUPS AND INTERACTION

Selendis is good with heroes who have a lot of control (as well as E.T.C., Blaze, Zarya with the Graviton surge, Jaina with the Ring of frost and others) in your team. With the help of mosh pit or other good control she can destroy the entire enemy team with her interceptors and the "Vindicator's" salvo.

Selendis is bad with heroes who can scatter enemies (Yrel, Junkrat) in your team because her mass damaging abilities are more useful against stacked heroes.

Selendis is good against warriors on the line :) but as for heroes, she is able to resist melee ones who cannot quickly reduce the distance or don't have enough control (Chen, Samuro).

As a specialist Selendis worthly competes with other pushers (Zagara, Xul, Sgt. Hummer, Azmodan).

Selendis is bad against heroes with strong control (E.T.C., Diablo, Muradin, Imperius, the Butcher, others) and heroes mobile with a good distance reduction (Zeratul, Genji, Illidan, Tracer). They just won

RECOMENDED BUILDS

1) Standart solo-liner's build:
Tier 1: Attack focus or Observer
Tier 2: Assault of Bastions
Tier 3: Wrath of templars or Warp Gate
Tier 4: Mothership support
Tier 5: Fleet of interceptors of Improved cannons
Tier 6: Protoss landing
Tier 7: Operativeness or maybe Golden Armada or The power of the Delaam.

This build is the main because it reveals Selendis as a powerful pusher. If everything is alright, you have an opportunity to be on a solo-line and your team need a good specialist, you should use this talent set.

2) Support build:
Tier 1: Protective modules
Tier 2: Durable shields
Tier 3: Phase slowdown
Tier 4: Mothership support or The "Vindicator's" salvo
Tier 5: Barrier generator
Tier 6: Tactical manuvering or Test of strength
Tier 7: Golden Armada or Devastating salvo

Selendis have an opportunity to be a support (like Zarya of Tassadar). Her shields can be useful if your team doesn't need in a strong solo-liner but really needs in support when there are no other supports.

Tier 1: Protective modules (or maybe Observer)
Tier 2: Feedback
Tier 3: Anger of the executor (or Wrath of templars)
Tier 4: The Vindicator's salvo
Tier 5: Improved cannons
Tier 6: Test of strength of Tactical manuvering
Tier 7: The power of the Delaam or Devastating salvo

This build makes Selendis a bit stronger in an open battle when she can't be useful on a line and she hae to be in a teamfight but not as a support.

4) Point strike build:
Tier 1: Observer or Attack focus
Tier 2: Assault of bastions
Tier 3: Wrath of templars
