Mur'gul Snarecaster

This utility support can aid ally spellcasters and harm enemy spellcasters.


Loosely based on the Mur'gul Snarecaster neutral unit from Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. This creeper was a Murloc-like creature, armed with a staff, and capable of casting Slow (an ability that slowed enemy unit's attack rate and movement speed) and Abolish Magic (an ability that dispelled positive buffs from enemy units and negative buffs from friendly units, it also dealed damage to enemy summoned units).

Combat Trait

Marine Flare (Trait)
Passive
Dealing damage to enemy Heroes causes them to receive 80 (plus the converted amount of Mana/Resource they use) damage everyime they cast an Ability or Trait for 6 seconds. Stacks up to 3 times.

(When an enemy Hero gets another Marine Flare Stack, the duration of its effects resets back to 6 seconds, meaning that no matter the amount of stacks, the maximun duration will always be that)

(2 Marine Flare Stacks mean 80 (plus double the converted amount of Mana/Resource they use) damage everyime the enemy Hero cast an Ability or Trait, and 3 Marine Flare Stacks mean 80 (plus triple the converted amount of Mana/Resource they use) damage everyime the enemy Hero cast an Ability or Trait)

(Illidan, Murky, Abathur, Samuro, the Lost Vikings, Cho'gall, Junkrat, D.Va, Fenix, Tracer and Shiverspine will only receive the base damage everyime they cast an Ability or Trait for 6 seconds)

Shoot a stream of ink that deals 90 damage (+4% per level) to enemies in its path and Slows them by 20% for 2 seconds. Enemy Heroes with 3 Marine Flare Stacks will additionally be rooted for 1 second.

Instantly restore 10% of their maximun Mana to allied Heroes in target area. Their Basic Ability cooldowns recharge 50% faster for the next 4 seconds.

(Won't have any effect on Shiverspine himself, unless he casts it on an allied Shiverspine in a Brawl)

(Valeera, Chen, Sonya, Lt. Morales, Deathwing, Auriel and Zarya will get 10% of their maximun respective resource restored instead of Mana)

(Illidan, Murky, Abathur, Samuro, the Lost Vikings, Cho'gall, Junkrat, D.Va, Fenix and Tracer won't get resources restored, but their Basic Ability cooldowns will still recharge 50% faster for the next 4 seconds)

LEVEL 1 TALENTS

Octazooka: Quest: Stack 3 Marine Flares on 15 enemy Heroes.Reward: Permanently increase Ink Cannon's slow amount and damage dealt by 15%.
Free Style: After arriving with Plunge, gain 30% Movement Speed for 3 seconds.
Mana Burn: Enemy heroes lose 5% of their maximun Mana/Resource over time for each Stack of Marine Flare on them.

LEVEL 4 TALENTS

Sticky virus: Heroes hit by Ink Cannon receive 40% less healing for 4 seconds.
Right in the Eye: Heroes hit by Ink Cannon are blinded for 1 second.
Will of the Ancient Guardian: Casting a Basic Ability grants Shiverspine 15% Spell Power for 2 seconds.

LEVEL 7 TALENTS

Hymn of the Sea: Increase the duration of Water Blessing by 1 second.
Sea Fairy: Increase the duration of Marine Flare by 1 second.
Sacred Staff: Basic Attacks against Heroes reduce the cooldown of Water Blessing and Plunge by 2 seconds.

HEROIC ABILITIES

Slippery Skin: Make all nearby allied Heroes Unstoppable and grant them 25 Spell Armor for 3 seconds.
Abyssal Slice: After 0.5 seconds, quickly cuts a line across the terrain that places enemy Heroes in Time Stop for 3 seconds.

LEVEL 13 TALENTS

Pool of Hope: Allied Heroes affected by Water Blessing gain an aditional 5% of their maximun Mana/Resources over time.
Aquatic Brilliance: Allied Heroes affected by Water Blessing gain 15% Spell Power.
Purity: Increase the Health Regeneration of the allied Heroes affected by Water Blessing by 20.

LEVEL 16 TALENTS

Eject: If Shiverspine loses more than 20% of his Health at once, the cooldown of Plunge is instantly refreshed. This effect has a 4 second cooldown.
Mur'gul Scales: Shiverspine gains a shield equal to 15% of his Maximum Health over 5 seconds when out of combat for 3 seconds.
Curse of N'Zoth: Basic Attacks against Heroes reduce the target's Spell Power by 40% for 2.5 seconds.

STORM TALENTS

Charm of the Naga: Slippery Skin also grants 25 Physical Armor. Upon expiration, Slippery Skin heals an amount equal to the damage it reduced.
Void Slice: After the Time Stop ends, the enemy Heroes are silenced for 2 seconds. Its cooldown is reduced by 30 seconds.
Ink Gatling Gun: Reduces the Cooldown of Ink Cannon from 5 seconds to 2 seconds.
Marine Nightmare: Increase the base damage of Marine Flare from 80 to 300.
Storm Shield: Activate to give all nearby allied Heroes a Shield for 20% of their max Health for 3 seconds.
