Solgaleo

Sunne Pokémon

Solgaleo has a bold and fiery personality, contrasting its counterpart Lunala's calm and mysteriously ghostly demeanor. It will summon the sun to battle its opponents, crashing into them while roaring loudly. It strongly opposes Necrozma and resists its light being absorbed by it; it will battle fiercely to avoid being fused with it. It is friendly toward its lunar counterpart Lunala, coexisting with it as the sun and moon naturally balance each other with day and night (different than a few other main-series legendaries which are enemies of each other). It will open up Ultra Wormholes if needed to travel through cosmic dimensions, and will bolt swiftly through space on its strong legs.

Combat Trait

1
Full Metal Body
This Pokemon's Attack does not decrease when affected by opposing Pokemon's moves and Abilities.

Primary Abilities

1
Psyshock
Has the user charge power, then attack by materializing a mysterious psychic wave, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon and throwing them. While the user charges power, its movement speed is increased, damage received is reduced, and it initially becomes resistant to hindrances for a short time. When the psychic wave hits opposing Pokemon, the user can perform a follow-up attack. The follow-up attack has the user slash in front of itself with sharp claws, dealing damage and applying a slowing effect to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect and restoring the user’s HP. When this follow-up attack hits Pokemon from the opposing team, it can be used again once.
2
Cosmic Power
Has the user absorb mystical power from space, increasing Defense and Sp. Def. for a short time. The user's next basic attack becomes a boosted attack.
3
Iron Head
Has the user charge in the designated direction, dealing damage and shoving opposing Pokemon with its steel-hard head. If this move is used again, the user leaps toward opposing Pokemon in front of itself, leaving them unable to act and dealing damage multiple times while restoring the user’s HP.

Heroic Abilities

1
Shining Meteor Crush
Has the user unleash immense power and enter Radiant Sun phase, then jump up high and charge toward the designated Pokemon from the opposing team, dealing damage and ignoring the Defense and shield of opposing Pokemon in the area of effect. While in Radiant Sun phase, the user is able to see nearby Pokemon that are in stealth or hiding in tall grass. The user’s moves, basic attacks, and boosted attacks also ignore opposing Pokemon’s Defense and shield. When nearby ally Pokemon get knocked out, the Unite Move gauge charges.
