Underground Hacker & Agent of Talon

Hi there!
I love to play Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch so I decided to bring one of my favorite heroes out of the world of Overwatch into the Nexus, and thats the sassy mexican hacker girl Sombra!
I know, I know... I'm not the first who did that and I'm also not quiet the most creative person, but I tried my best to make a complete concept with stats and a talent tree and I think, I kinda hit the spot for my version of Sombra to live the fantasy of her up for Heroes of the Storm.

This concept was circa 2 months in the works and number tweaking is always a not so easy task, so please don't pinpoint me down on the numbers xD
I would appreciate any (non Overwatch hating :P) comments and constructive criticism to talk about my Version of Sombra ^^ (live and let live!)

Kudos to the other people of the community who also did a Sombra concept and inspiered me with their versions!


Stealth and debilitating attacks make Sombra a powerful infiltrator. Her hacking can disrupt her enemies, ensuring they're easier to take out, while her EMP provides the upper hand against multiple foes at once. Sombra’s ability to Translocate and camouflage herself makes her a hard target to pin down.

Attack Damage: 26 (+4% per level)
Attacks per Second: 4

Ability Power: 100%

Spell Armor: 0
Physical Armor: 0

Movement Speed: 100%

UI Information

Above Sombras Healthbar, in the bottom left corner, are 4 Ability Slots that display all Abilities and their cooldowns of the nearest hacked enemy hero to Sombra.

Combat Trait

Opportunist (D)
Can Basic Attack while moving, Basic Attacks splash for 30% damage around the attack target. Sombra detects critically injured enemies on the Battleground. Reveals all enemy Heroes below 30% Health anywhere on the Battleground for 5 seconds only to Sombra.

Passive: Sombra can steal an enemy Regeneration Globes every 30 seconds or can replenish from an enemy Healing fountain every 120 seconds. Hack can also disable Structures for 6 seconds and Sombra can Hack Healing fountains which increases its healing duration by 20% for allies and decreases its healing duration by 20% for enemies for 15 seconds.

Primary Abilities

Hack (Q)
Mana: 85
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Range: 5.5

After channeling the target for 0.8 seconds, silence it for 0.25 seconds. After the silence expires increase the cooldowns of the targets Basic Abilities by 1.5 seconds.
Usable while moving and damage taken while channeling will break Hack.

Passive: Reveal and display all cooldowns of the target’s Abilities to Sombra for 3 Seconds.
Thermoptic Camo (W)
Mana: 70
Cooldown: 8 seconds

Enter Stealth for up to 5 seconds or until you attack, use an offensive Ability, or take damage. While Stealthed, your Movement Speed is increased by 35% and you can pass through allied units.

Damage taken within the first 1 second will not break Thermoptic Camo.
Translocator (E)
Mana: 30
Cooldown: 4 seconds
Range: 7

Sombra tosses out a translocator beacon to a target area. Sombra can instantly return to the beacon’s location while it is active. The placed beacon lasts for 15 seconds or until the Ability is used again. The cooldown starts when the duration expires or the Ability is used.

Usable while moving and does not break Thermoptic Camo.

Heroic Abilities

EMP (R1)
Mana: 120
Cooldown: 120 seconds
Range: 6

After channeling for 0.5 seconds, Sombra sends an electromagnetic pulse in a medium sized area around her out that goes through terrain and affects every enemy unit in range for 6 seconds. EMP destroys every shield, the affected units are silenced for 1.5 seconds and it deals 100 damage. After the silence expires increase the cooldowns of the targets Basic Abilities by 1.5 seconds.

Affected Heroes count as being hacked.
Power Outage (R2)
Mana: 95
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Range: 8

Sombra creates an electric field in a big area for 8 seconds that slows every enemy Hero by 30% and every affected Hero does not regenerate Health and Mana, also received Healing is reduced by 20%. These effects are immediately removed or applied when leaving or entering the electric field created by Sombra.

Level 1

  • Playing Fair? (D)
    !Quest: Steal 30 enemy Regeneration Globes and increase your Mana Regeneration by 0.1 per Second, up to 3 per second.
    !Reward: After Stealing 30 enemy Regeneration Globes, also reduce the cooldown of Opportunist by 50%.

  • I need a Drink (D)
    !Quest: Replenish 6 times from an enemy Healing fountain and increase your Health Regeneration by 0.5 per second, up to 3 per second.
    !Reward: After replenishing 6 times from an enemy Healing fountain, increase regeneration effects and all healing received by 50%.

  • ¡Asústame, Panteón!
    Sombra deals 100% more damage if only one target is hit.

  • Squishing a Bug
    Sombra deals 120% more damage to non-Heroic enemies.

Level 4

  • Initiating Hack (Q)
    Increase the range of Hack by 20% and slow the Movement Speed of the target while being hacked by 15%.

  • Don’t mind Me (Q)
    !Quest: Successfully hacking a Hero out of Thermoptic Camo increases the duration of Hack’s silence by 0.05, up to 0.75.
    !Reward: After hacking 15 Heroes, reduce the cooldown of Hack by 6 seconds and increase its Ability increment effect by 0.5 seconds.

  • Hack the Planet (Q)
    Sombra can see stealthed units in Range of 3.5 and can only Hack them.

Level 7

  • He Vuelto (W)
    When Thermoptic Camo’s duration expires and you did not break stealth set its cooldown to 4 seconds.

  • Me extrañaste? (W)
    Allows Sombra to travel over walls and terrain with Thermoptic Camo, but reduce its Movement Speed Bonus to 25% and increases its cooldown by 2 seconds and Mana Cost by 20.

  • Ahorita Regreso (E)
    When Translocator’s duration expires and you took no damage while the translocator beacon was active your next cast has 20% more range.

Level 13

  • Security Wall
    Cooldown: 90 seconds
    Activate to place yourself in Stasis and gain Invulnerability for 3 seconds. When this effect expires, nearby enemies are hacked for 1 second. Hacking enemies reduces Security Wall’s cooldown by 10 seconds.

  • Unknown Enhancement (E)
    Gain 20 Spell Armor while the translocator beacon is active, reducing spell damage taken by 20%.

  • Latest Tech
    Cooldown: 60 seconds
    Increase the cooldown of your Heroic Ability by 15 seconds and gain 25 Armor for 4 seconds, reducing damage taken by 25%.

Level 16

  • Boop! (E)
    The translocator beacon now deals 50 damage to enemy Heroes when tossed out and slows them for 2 seconds by 20% when hit.

  • Gotcha (W)
    Attacking a Hero out of Thermoptic Camo causes them to take 30% increased damage from your Basic Attacks for 2.5 seconds.

  • Mess with the best… (D)
    Enemy Hero Takedowns reduce your Basic Ability cooldown by 1 second, up to a maximum of 3 seconds.

Level 20

  • EMP Charged (R1)
    Reduce the duration of EMP by 2 seconds. Shield granting Abilities will not grant shields, Heroic Abilities are now also affected by EMP and units affected by EMP lose 25 Armor, causing them to take 25% increased damage.

  • Global System Outage (R2)
    Increase Power Outage’s duration by 2 seconds. Allied Heroes now gain 20% Movement Speed in the electric field and enemies Heroes are now slowed by 50%, received healing is reduced by 40% and their sight is reduced by 75%.

  • Hack Complete (Q)
    Hack places the target after channelling in Time Stop for 0.75 seconds. Sombra channels Hack 50% faster and damage taken will not cancel its cast.

  • False Friend (D)
    Opportunist now reveals all enemy Heroes below 35% Health every 15 seconds for 5 seconds anywhere on the Battleground to your team.

  • ...and die like the rest (D)
    Increase the Ability cooldowns of nearby enemy Heroes by 1 seconds per enemy Hero Takedown, up to a maximum of 3 seconds.
