Stitches (Talent Rework)

TERROR OF DARKSHIRE

The goal of this rework is to bring Stitches up to the new standard for frontline tanks comparable to recently reworked heroes such as Dehakka, Artanis, and Diablo, whilst at the same time, ensuring greater talent diversity and equality among potential playstyles.

Central to this rework are the three quest talents available at level 4 which cement his playstyle as a choice between:
1). Long range displacement
2). Short range CC disruption
3). A regenerative damage sponge

Combat Trait

Vile Gas
Trait
Cooldown: 3 seconds


When damaged, Stitches emits a gas cloud that poisons nearby enemies for 74.88 (+4% per level) damage over 3 seconds. Whenever Vile Gas damages an enemy Hero, you are healed for 21.06 (+4% per level) Health.

Primary Abilities

Hook
Mana: 75
Cooldown: 16 seconds


Pull the first enemy hit towards you, temporarily stunning them and dealing 94.64 (+4% per level) damage.

Slam
Mana: 45
Cooldown: 9 seconds


Deal 99.84 (+4% per level) damage to enemies within the target area. Enemies hit by slam are affected with Vile Gas.

Devour
Mana: 55
Cooldown: 20 seconds


Deal 331.76 (+4% per level) damage to non-Heroic units, or 118.56 (+4% per level) damage to Heroes. Restores 19.92% of your maximum Health

Helping Hand
Mana: 75
Cooldown: 16 seconds

Pull the first ally or enemy hit towards you. Enemies are temporarily stunned and take 94.64 (+4% per level) damage. When used to pull allies, the cooldown is reduced by 50%.

Heroic Abilities

Putrid Bile
Heroic Ability
Mana: 75
Cooldown: 60 seconds


Emit bile that deals 38.48 (+4% per level) damage per second to enemies within, slowing them by 35%. You gain 20% Movement Speed while emitting bile. Lasts 8 seconds.

Gorge
Heroic Ability
Mana: 70
Cooldown: 60 seconds


Consume an enemy Hero, trapping them for 4 seconds. When Gorge ends, the enemy Hero takes 284.96 (+4% per level) damage. The trapped Hero cannot move or act and doesn't take damage from other sources. Reactivating will cancel the effect of this ability prematurely.

Cannot be used on massive Heroes

Tier 1 - Talents

"Choose between 3 early game damage mitigation talents..."

Dampen Magic


Every 8 seconds, gain 50 Spell Armor against the next enemy Ability and subsequent Abilities for 1.5 seconds, reducing the damage taken by 50%.

Hungry for More


Quest: Gathering a Regeneration Globe increases your maximum Health by 30, up to 900.
Reward: Upon reaching 900, increase Movement Speed by 10%.

Putrid Healing


Increases regeneration effects and all healing received by 5% every time you get a Hero Takedown, up to 30%. These bonuses are lost upon dying.

Tier 4 - Talents

"Choose your defining playstyle..."

Pulverize


Quest: Every time Slam hits an enemy hero, an additional 1% slow is applied for 1.5 seconds up to a maximum of 50%.
Reward: After hitting enemy heroes with Slam 50 times, Slam now stuns targets hit for 0.5 seconds.

Fishing Hook


Quest: If Hook hits an enemy Hero after traveling at least 50% of its base range, its maximum range is increased by 4% up to a maximum of 40%.
Reward: After increasing the maximum range of Hook by 40%, the cooldown of Hook is reduced by 2 seconds.

Savor the Flavor


Quest: Using Devour on an enemy Hero permanently increases your Health Regeneration by 2 per second.
Reward: After using Devour 15 times on enemy heroes, using Devour also heals you for 10% of your max Health over 3 seconds.
Reward: After using Devour 30 times on enemy heroes, Hero Takedowns reset the cooldown of Devour.

Tier 7 - Talents

Choose between some minor utility...

Shish Kabob


Hook can pull up to 2 targets.

Tenderizer


Basic Attacks slow enemy Movement Speed by 25% for 1.5 seconds.

Cannibalize


Cooldown: 5 seconds
Activate to consume the corpse of a recently fallen allied or enemy hero. Channeling restores 3% of your maximum health and mana every second until cancelled. The corpse is consumed in the process.

Tier - 10 Talents

Tier - 13 Talents

"Boost the offensive power of one your abilities slightly..."

Heavy Slam


Slam damage increased by 50%. If the target is already infected with Vile Gas, the damage dealt by Slam is increased by an additional 25%.

Indigestion


Using Devour also creates a Retchling that applies Vile Gas Poison when it attacks.

Toxic Gas


Increases Vile Gas' radius and damage by 25%. Enemies affected by Vile gas also have their spell armor reduced by 10.

Tier 16 - Talents

"Some nice combo options to complete your build..."

Putrid Skin


Cooldown: 60 seconds
Activate to gain 25% of your maximum Health as a Shield for 5 seconds. When the effect ends, any remaining shields are dealt as damage over 5 seconds to nearby enemies.

Mega Smash


Range and arc of Slam increased by 25%. The cooldown of slam is also reduced by 1 second.

Flea Bag


Whenever you are stunned or rooted, reduce your Basic Ability cooldowns by 6 seconds.

Tier 20 - Talents

"Heroic upgrades or powerful side options..."

Regenerative Bile

(heroic upgrade)
Putrid Bile lasts 2 seconds longer, grants an additional 10% Movement Speed and heals for 51.635% (+4% per level) of the damage dealt.

Hungry Hungry Stitches

(heroic upgrade)
Gorge can store up to 2 charges. Increases Gorge damage by 40%.

Hardened Shield


Activate to gain 75 Armor for 4 seconds, taking 75% less damage.

Bolt of the Storm


Cooldown: 70 seconds
Activate to teleport to a nearby location.

Get in my Belly


Cooldown: 60 seconds
Activate to consume an allied Hero, protecting them from harm for 4 seconds. The consumed Hero cannot move or act and doesn't take damage from other sources. Reactivating will cancel the effect of this ability prematurely.
