Stukov

Swarm Commander

Stukov is a powerful healer who thrives when the enemy team can't focus him down. He's able to survive 1v1 fights very easily due to his incredibly sustained self healing, and he also has excellent pushing power for a support, but his low health pool means he falls quickly when outnumbered or poked down from afar.

HP: 1380+4%
HP Regen: 0

ATK: 80+4%
ATK/Sec: 1
Range: 5.5

Combat Trait

1
Tissue Regeneration
Stukov gains an aura when he attacks that heals himself and nearby allies for 20+4% health per second, stacking up to 5 times to a maximum of 100+4% health per second. The aura decays by 2 stacks per second after not attacking for 5 seconds.

Stukov and his summons receive 100% more healing and shields from Stukov.

Notes: At full stacks, Stukov heals allies for a bit less than Lucio's Amp It Up healing (100 vs 124 per second), while also gaining health at a slightly lower rate than Chen gains shields from Fortifying Brew (200 vs 220 per second).

This is Stukov's primary source of healing for allies and survivability for himself. As it requires him to autoattack for it to be effective and it decays quickly, crowd control or poking are both effective ways at limiting his healing.

Primary Abilities

1
Infested Marine
Stukov targets the ground, or any unit, then spawns an Infested Marine egg near himself that hatches after a 0.5 second delay and follows the target very closely. If the target is the ground, it attack-moves to the location. If the target is an enemy hero, it attacks the enemy. If the target is an ally, it attacks enemies near the ally, prioritizing the ally's attack target.

Marines deal 34+4% damage per second, have 360+4% health, and last up to 10 seconds

CD: 6 seconds, holds 3 charges.
Max of 8 infested marines active at once. Additional marines summoned by any means cause the oldest one to die instantly.

Notes: Marines that are following your hero will have a red circle on the ground under them. This is especially helpful for Stukov's ability to command Marines.

Marines stutterstep with a very fast attack animation, and always try be in melee range of whatever they're following, whether its an enemy or an ally.

Three marines attacking in unison deal 104 damage per second. This is Stukov's main source of damage, and a key component in his kit.
2
Virulent Burst
Stukov targets an allied hero, or a marine, and creates an explosion around them after a 0.35 second delay. All targets in melee range around the target take 201+4% damage and are slowed by 50% for 3 seconds.

CD: 10 seconds

Notes: This ability has 8 range, making it outrange a ranged hero attack. Stukov can use it for reliable peel ,but if used in tandem with Infested Marines, it can be a valuable source of poke.
3
Living Shield
Stukov releases a small pulse that shields himself, allied heroes, and his marines for 128+4% points. In addition, all Infested Marines grant a 94+4% shield to any allies they are following if they are close by (double melee range). The shield lasts for 6 seconds.

CD: 16 seconds

Notes: Stukov's shield, but not the shield his minions give, count as a healing effect for Tissue Regeneration. Thus, Stukov and his marines gain a 256+4% point shield instead.

While the individual shields aren't great, they stack up quickly, meaning an allied hero in Stukov's Range with three marines following them will gain a shield for 410+4% points. This is a bit smaller than a Tassadar shield (475 points), but lasting 6 seconds instead of 4. Not to mention some talents increase the number of Marines Stukov can have.

Secondary Abilities

1
Command Marine
Stukov can select Infested Marines and order them to move, attack, and/or attack-move. Right clicking on an ally or Stukov while selecting Infested Marines orders them to follow Stukov or the allied hero.

Activate this ability to select all infested marines and de-select Stukov, or select Stukov if all marines are already selected.

Heroic Abilities

1
For the Swarm
Stukov instantly self-casts Infested Marine 3 times. For 8 seconds, Stukov and all Infested Marines gain 40 armor and provide 25 armor to other allied heroes in a small radius. This armor boost does not stack with itself.

CD: 45 seconds
2
Corrosive Blast
Stukov channels for 1 second, then fires a targeted projectile at the enemy. On impact, it deals 300+4% damage to the target, and lowers the armor of all targets near the impact by 35 for 4 seconds.

CD: 60 seconds

Notes: the 300 damage is deducted before the armor penalty, and only affects the primary target.

Talents

Level 1:

Detonate: Virulent Burst deals 50% more damage and has its CD refunded by 5 seconds if used on an Infested Marine, but it kills the marine.

Healing Master; QUEST: Collect Regeneration Globes, up to 30. REWARD: Allied heroes within range of Stukov's Tissue Regeneration aura are healed by 1.5 health per second per regen globe collected. At 30 globes, Tissue Regeneration has 20% more range. This does not heal Stukov, and it does not scale per level.

Better Stock: Infested Marines have 120+4% more health, and attack 10% faster.

Level 4:

Roach Genome: At 5 stacks of Tissue Regeneration, gain 15 armor.

Metabolic Refresher: Virulent Burst provides unstoppable for 0.5 seconds to the targeted ally if it hits at least one enemy hero.

Adaptive Shielding: All shields applied by Living Shield are restored by 10% of their initial value (the total value of the shield after initiial cast) every second until broken or expired.

Level 7:
Notes: This talent tier contains powerful talents that really impact the way Stukov is meant to be played. Gene Therapy for pushing power, Swarm Synergy for survival and dueling, and Reassemble for healing.

Gene Therapy: Stacks of Tissue Regeneration cause all Infested Marines' lifespan to decay 12.5% slower per stack, up to 62.5% slower. (This makes Marines last 16 seconds)

Swarm Synergy: Tissue Regeneration's personal healing boost is increased to 125%. In addition, Infested Marines each grant 0.25 stacks of Tissue Regeneration when they attack.

Reassemble: Every time Stukov or an Infested Marine shields an ally with Living Shield, Stukov gains 1 stack of Tissue Regeneration, and the ally is also healed for 64+4% health over 6 seconds.

Level 10:

For The Swarm

Corrosive Blast

Level 13:

Infested Platoon: Infested Marines grant 5 armor to the hero they're protecting, up to 15. Stacks additively with other armor boosts.

Conscription: Infested Marine's CD is now 12 seconds, but all charges are returned at once.

Swarm Avenger: When an Infested Marine dies, it heals all nearby allies (double melee range) for 40% of its maximum health. Infested Marines within range also regain 3 seconds of duration.

Level 16:

Quarantine: Virulent Plague grants 50 spell armor for 3 seconds

Reinforce: Living Armor's pulse is now cast at range instead of centered on Stukov. Allies affected by Stukov's shield gain 50% more shield from the Infested Marines.

Bio Barrier: Activate to put an ally in stasis for 5 seconds. Allies can cast any ability to break out of stasis. CD: 50 seconds.

Level 20:

Swarm Rush: For The Swarm now also adds +100% attack damage to Infested Marines and Stukov

for the duration.

Lead The Assault: Corrosive Blast now has 50% reduced CD and lowers armor by 25 more, but its duration is reduced to 2 seconds.

Coalesce: Upon taking fatal damage, if Stukov has at least 1 living infested marine, he enters stasis for 1 second. All infested marines die and heal Stukov for 120+4% health each. CD: 20 seconds.

Virulent Plague: Enemy heroes hit by Virulent Burst explode (without taking damage or slow a second time) with a second Virulent Burst after 2 seconds. Enemy heroes can only be hit by one secondary explosion each.
