Story:
"Once a Warlock of the Shadowmoon clan, Teron was the first of Gul'dan's dark riders known as the death knights. Possessing horrifying unholy powers and cruelty beyond imagining, he rides the countless battlefields of the Nexus on his path of conquest."

Skin Variations: Yellow with Red, Red with Dark Blue, and Purple with Light Blue.

5/1/18 Update: Brought Teron up to speed with the current state of the game, improving his base kit and almost completely reworking his talents, the main addition being his new second trait Pale Rider, which keeps him permanently mounted at the cost of his mounted speed being slower than other heroes.

Based on a mix of both his WC2 and WoW appearances.

Pros:

Cons:
- Slower Mounted Speed
- Limited CC options
- Long cooldowns if played unskillfully
- No wave clear without Talents
- No burst mobility
- Low Health
- Large hitbox
- Vulnerable to burst damage
- Self-healing is reliant on spell damage
- Damage can be lackluster without Touch of Darkness stacks

Combat Trait

D - Touch of Darkness
(Passive) Teron's basic attacks apply a stacking debuff that increases his and only his ability damage to affected targets by 4% for 6 seconds. Additionally, the first time an ability damages an enemy hero, that ability's cooldown is reduced by 0.6 seconds for each Stack of Touch of Darkness on the target. Does not affect Structures. Max of 10 stacks This is considered a separate bonus from reduced Spell Armor.

(Passive) Teron is permanently mounted and cannot be dismounted, but the movement speed bonus is only 20%.

Q - Incinerate
(Skillshot) Cast a bolt of fire that deals 80 (+4%) damage on impact and 126 (+4%) damage over 3 seconds to the first enemy it hits. Damage over Time stacks with itself. Mana Cost: 60. Cooldown: 10.

W - Death Coil
(Targeted) Deal 196 (+4%) damage to a target and heal yourself equal to 150% of the damage dealt. Cannot be used on structures. Mana Cost: 70. Cooldown: 14.

E - Crushing Shadows
(AoE) Apply 5 stacks of Touch of Darkness to targets in a 3 unit AoE. Instant Cast. Mana Cost: 50. Cooldown: 16.

(Targeted) Level 4 Talent. Activate to poison an enemy hero's soul, dealing 352 (+4%) damage over 10 seconds. Corruption benefits from Touch of Darkness. Cooldown: 30.

(Self) Level 16 Talent. Activate to deal 587 (+4%) damage to YOURSELF and become Invulnerable for 4 seconds. Self-Damage cannot kill you and will not activate if it would. Cooldown: 60.

(Summon/AoE) Summons an Unholy Cloud over an area that fires a Shadow Bolt every 1.5 seconds that deal 102 (+4%) damage, preferring the weakest enemy hero, and applies a stack of Touch of Darkness every second to enemies that stand within the Doom Blossom itself. Instant cast. Lasts 15 seconds. Shadow Bolt Cast Range: 6. Cloud Radius: 3. Mana Cost: 100. Cooldown: 50

R2 - Shadow of Death
(Targeted) Apply a debuff to an enemy hero where after 6 seconds, 748 (+4%) damage is dealt. If the affected unit dies while under or from the effects of Shadow of Death, 4 Invulnerable Shadowy Constructs are spawned with that deal 42 (+4%) spell damage on hit, damage does not trigger Cooldown reduction. Shadowy Constructs last 8 seconds. Mana Cost: 100. Cooldown: 80.

Level 1:
Q: Soul Fire - Initial Incineration deals 20% extra damage. (!)Quest: Hit 20 heroes with Incinerate. (!)Reward: Increase the cooldown reduction to 0.8 for every stack of Touch of Darkness.
W: Soul Harvest - (!)Quest: Deal 8000 total damage to heroes with Death Coil. (!)Reward: A second base Death Coil is cast for free on an enemy nearby the target, preferring heroes.
E: Creeping Death - Increases cast range by 25%. (!)Quest: Hit 3 heroes with a single Crushing Shadows. (!)Reward: Crushing Shadows area persists for 5 seconds, applying 1 stack of Touch of Darkness each second.
D: Mark of Death - Increases the duration by 2 seconds. (!Quest): Apply 10 stacks of Touch of Darkness to every enemy hero. (!)Reward: If an enemy has 10 stacks of Touch of Darkness, their Spell Armor is reduced by 10.
D: Seed of Corruption - When a target affected by Touch of Darkness is killed, they explode dealing 30 (+4%) damage for each Stack to nearby targets.

Level 4:
Q: Slow Burn - DoT duration is increased by 3 seconds, but it's damage per second is reduced by 20% aka 202 (+4%) damage over 6 seconds.
W: Siphon Soul - Healing is increased to 200% of the damage dealt.
D: Necrolyte - Whenever an enemy affected by Touch of Darkness dies, restore 10 (+4%) health and 5 mana for every stack they had at their time of death.
D: Torment - Also increases your basic attack damage by 10%.

Level 7:
W: Sever the Cord - Increases damage to non-heroic units by 100% and reduces the cooldown by 8 seconds if used on a non-hero.
E: Death and Decay - Also leaves a zone that deals 46 (+4%) damage every second for 5 seconds. This damage does not trigger cooldown redcution.
E: Consuming Shadow - Increases the AoE by 70%.
D: Atrophy - Each stack also reduces the target's attack speed by 6%.
D: Shadow Strike - Activate to make your next basic attack deal an additional 122 (+4%) spell damage and apply 3 stacks of Touch of Darkness. Cooldown: 10.

Q: Fire and Brimstone - Explodes on impact dealing 50% of the impact damage and applying 50% of the DoT to nearby enemies.
W: Soul Swap - If used on an Incinerated target, deal Incinerate's initial damage again and refresh the DoT, this damage does not heal you.
E: Darkness Overpowering - If only one enemy is hit, apply 10 stacks instead.
D: Cripple - Each stack also reduces movement speed by 3% for every stack.

Level 16:
W: Reaper - Deals an addtional150% damage to Stunned and Rooted targets.
Q: Devistation - DoT receives double the normal Touch of Darkness modifier.
E: Shifting Shadows - Gain an additional charge, but increase the cooldown by 4.
D: Dark Intent - If an enemy hero has 10 stacks of Touch of Darkness, Teron's Basic Abilities deal bonus damage equal to 4% of the target's maximum health on Impact.

R2: Wheel of Death - Shadowy Constructs now last until the Hero they spawned from Respawns.
D: Agony - Allies also receive 50% of the increased ability damage.
D: Soul Snare - Increases an enemy hero's death timer by 2% for each Stack they had on them when they died.
Z: Deathrider - Increases Hiya!'s movement bonus to 20% and reduces it's cooldown to 10 seconds. Passive: Increase Mounted Speed to 10%.

The stacking debuff is a great way to get across that "relentless killer" feel. I think he needs a snare (without talenting) to really be effective; Crushing Shadow should probably get a slow attached to it, since one of your three basic abilities being devoted only to adding more "get more damage to your other basic abilities" is pretty uninteresting, and locks him into HAVING to pick one of the snare talents.

Shadow of Death is also a neat concept, but the way it's laid out, there's a REAL narrow window of effectiveness where you can get it to do damage and summon things. I think it would work better as a DOT.

Still, the overall concept works together pretty well, even if it's not a hundred percent perfect. Thumbs up!

This concept really reminds me of warcraft II characters, that's really nice !
There might be a couple of things that are a bit too good, but the general idea is great, I like it. :)
