Decided to look towards completely reworking his kit to reduce reliance on Butcher's Brand and giving him a new ult. Stats are, again, completely unbalanced, but tell me if you see any major design flaws or if these things don't actually fix his issues.

As an avid butcher player at high mmr, I gotta say I really hate the trait. Gonna go on a bit of a rant here, but I hate it on live. I hate this iteration too which seems like the other poster said, is very like dehaka's essence mehcanic. I HATE farming minions on a aggressive roam hero. Its counter intuitive and does not feel good. It feels good on dehaka because hes a global hero and not a roaming gank hero.

I like the cleaver benefit you added and I would aggree with that being baseline. Heres how i would make his trait

Fresh Meat
Enemy heroes who die drop meat, which will permanently increase butchers basic attack damage by 15 when picked up.

Cleaver
Butchers basic attacks cleave in an area around the target for 35% damage. This does not benefit from brand.

Boom. No more ****ty farming minions for half the game, the spirit of the mechanic is still there and fits the fantasy playstyle now. Adjust his baseline attack damage accordingly and be done with this cumbersome mechanic.

Hamstring change- I like it and I agree with it.

Brand change- aside from the new meat component, I like the added movement speed aswell.

Furnance Blast Change- I dont like it. I'd rather opt for different playstyles and furnace blast is a good way to open that avenue of something like a Mage/ability damage butcher. I wouldnt really change from how it is live, but if I did, I would just add a DoT component to it.

Lambs to the slaughter- I know you didnt change anything here, but I would just make the lvl 20 baseline but reduce both the cast range and size plus make the new 20 upgrade the way it is on live. The lvl 20 upgrade on live is such polarizing difference from a mediocire meh ult to a game winning ult. I would close the difference a bit so its not such an absolutely massive boost.

As a final note, I always wondered how funny a level 20 talent would be that made his E(Ruthless Onslaught) global range and have an unlimited speed increase and run time would be. The terror of not knowing where hes coming from or when he'll get to you, would be hilarious.

This makes a lot of sense. Thank you. I've been talking with a friend and have come to the conclusion that not only is farming minions still dumb even if you don't lose it upon death, but the heal I wanted to provide is also useless. I will rework things accordingly.

i think you made his trait too similar to dehakah's + valla's, and with decay mechanism it is impossible to gain meat from minions. and he will have to aa for quite time before doing anything impressive.

i would suggest a different change: increase his base aa, make meat consumable to increase aa speed (with no passive buff). so pretty much dehakah's trait but for damage instead of healing. this way meat is more of a special ability, and butcher can work without farming.
something like this: up to 30 meat, minions drop 1, enemy heroes drop 15. aa speed increased by 2% per meat for 5 seconds, 5 sec cd. collecting meat heals you for 2% max hp per meat.

[Q] HAMSTRING- no need for base quest, either make it on basic- the next aa after HAMSTRING also cleaves, or keep it a talent.

[R] FURNACE BLAST- reducing armor is a nice idea but, it seems a bit too much now. maybe make it reduce only physical armor.

overall great work on the talents!

thanks for the response. My initial idea was to make his trait more like Tryndamere's from League of Legends, although I do agree that the decay might be a bit much. Increasing attack speed as a temporary buff is a nice idea, although I'm really fond of the extra survivability that the trait would bring, instead of focusing even more on his W, which is a very easy to counter ability. Q probably should just get a base range increase, and I agree that the -armour debuff is a bit too good, especially considering his damage lategame, but I really want it to compete with lamb. I'll make it physical armour reduction instead.
