Your Hero Description

Combat Trait

Serve the Hive
The Overmind starts with 3 Overlords, they control like The Lost Vikings, with 1,2,3.

When the Overmind uses a basic ability, whichever Overlord is selected will go to the location, drop a Drone, and that Drone will rapidly morph into a structure based on the ability used.
That structure is tethered to that Overlord, it follows (they're all mobile) behind the Overlord on move commands, and will extend in front of it with attack commands.
If the Overlord already has a structure associated with that ability, the structure will use its own ability toward the mouse.
Overlords do not count as hero kills or grant hero exp, but STRUCTURES count as 1/4 of a kill. The Overmind can have 6 structures on the field maximum, and can only have a maximum of 1 of each type per Overlord.
The Overmind has charges of “resource” that allow it to spawn structures and effectively counts as its death timers.
If an Overlord dies a replacement will spawn near the structures that were tethered to it, or if there were none it spawns at the Hall of Storms.
When there is no Overlord attached to the structures the player cannot control them or cause them to use abilities.

Primary Abilities

Spawnling
Creates a Spawning Pool…on the back of a giant Zergling.
It attacks quickly for low damage.

Its active ability causes it to spawn 6 timed life Zerglings and send them in the direction of the mouse.

Tendril
One of the Overmind’s tendrils burst from the ground.
It attacks slowly for moderate damage.

Its active causes the tendril to make a swipe toward the cursor, damaging in a narrow cone.

Spirelisk
Creates a giant Zerg with a Spire on its back.
It attacks very slowly by firing a Devourer’s Acid Spores that apply a low armor and attack speed debuff on the target and inflicts high damage.

Its active spawns Scourge to suicide for aoe damage at the target location.

Heroic Abilities

Fury of the Swarm
The active abilities of structures have an increased cooldown rate.

Assimilation
Allies near an Overlord or structure temporarily gain the Zerg’s regeneration factor, granting them increased health and mana regen.

Special Mount

Metabolic Boost
Overlords and Structures faster temporarily like TLV

Strategy

The Overmind is good at soaking multiple lanes like TLV.
Its numerous structures and Zergling spawns can block pathing easily, but the Overmind only gives orders to the Overlords, leaving the exact positioning of structures themselves out of its control (though it can command them to focus targets).
