The Overmind starts with 3 Overlords, they control like The Lost Vikings, with 1,2,3.
When the Overmind uses a basic ability, whichever Overlord is selected will go to the location, drop a Drone, and that Drone will rapidly morph into a structure based on the ability used.
That structure is tethered to that Overlord, it follows (they're all mobile) behind the Overlord on move commands, and will extend in front of it with attack commands.
If the Overlord already has a structure associated with that ability, the structure will use its own ability toward the mouse.
Overlords do not count as hero kills or grant hero exp, but STRUCTURES count as 1/4 of a kill. The Overmind can have 6 structures on the field maximum, and can only have a maximum of 1 of each type per Overlord.
The Overmind has charges of “resource” that allow it to spawn structures and effectively counts as its death timers.
If an Overlord dies a replacement will spawn near the structures that were tethered to it, or if there were none it spawns at the Hall of Storms.
When there is no Overlord attached to the structures the player cannot control them or cause them to use abilities.
