Twin Emperors

Rulers of Ahn'Qiraj

(Melee and Ranged Warriors) Two individual tank heroes, Vek'lor and Vek'nilash, that compliment each other to protect against both magical and physical damage, respectively.

Rexxar meets The Lost Vikings with a bit more cooperation than Cho'Gall, this is a suggestion I haven't seen but maybe a couple times, but I like the idea of a true duo tank hero, both of them being polar opposites that serve their own function. Kit inspirations are largely a 1:1 of their raid encounter with altered functionality, including swapping their damage resistances. For the purposes of hero design, it makes more sense in my head to have the melee fighter with physical armor and vice versa.

Combat Trait

Brothers' Dynasty
Vek'lor, a ranged spellcaster with magic armor, and Vek'nilash, a melee fighter with physical armor, can be controlled independently or together as a duo, sharing a health pool. Whenever they are within 8 range of one another, they continuously heal for 85 health a second. Pressing your trait key selects both emperors. Both emperors are worth 50% of normal kill experience.

Primary Abilities

Arcane Burst (Vek'lor)
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Deals 85 damage in an area around Vek'lor, knocking enemies back and slowing them by 65% for 1.5 seconds.

Unbalancing Strike (Vek'nilash)
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Deals 110 damage in a cone in front of Vek'nilash, rooting enemies for 1 second and increasing the effects of incoming stuns and knockbacks by 30% for 3 seconds.

Twin Teleport
Cooldown: 14 seconds (shared between the two)
Swaps the locations of the emperors, dealing 55 damage and stunning enemies in the vicinity for 1 second. Global range.

Lifebond
Cooldown: 14 seconds (shared between the two)
Heals the emperors for 150 health a second for 4 seconds. 50% less effective if they are not under the effects of Brothers' Dynasty.

Select Vek'lor to issue commands and gain his abilities.

Select Vek'nilash to issue commands and gain his abilities.

Twin Command
Selects both emperors, commanding them together. Reactivate to use the other emperor's basic ability (changeable in options, maybe).

Heroic Abilities

Brothers' Pact
Cooldown: 110 seconds (passive)
Passively increases the range of Brothers' Dynasty by 2, and whenever the emperors take fatal damage under its effect, they become unkillable for 6 seconds, lasting as long as they remain within range of one another.

Binding of the Old Gods
Cooldown: 70 seconds
Forms a line between the two emperors with unlimited range, dealing 90 damage a second and applying a 50% slow to enemies caught between. The beam is small if the emperors are closer together but widens exponentially the further apart they are. Lasts for 8 seconds.
