Tychus

Notorious Outlaw Reworked!

My rework of the big bad man himself, Tychus! I tried to keep most of his abilites/base stats the same but after working on this for awhile I wanted tychus's playstyle to replicate that of a minigun! Dumb, eh? He starts off the game very slow and weak, but as the match progresses he gets much faster and stronger? Neato right?

Key Changes:
[*] Base Health reduced from 1925 to 1825
[*] ATK speed lowered from 4 to 3.5 (Due to attack speed talents and Master Assassin now being baseline.)
[*] Health Regen increased from 4.03 to 4.15 to accommodate for the smaller health pool
[*] Frag Grenade damage was reduced from 256 to 196 due to stronger Grenade talents.
[*] Minigun is now passive, but the damage was reduced from 2.5% bonus damage to 1.0%
[*] Tychus can now attack while moving.
[*] Drakken Laser Drill deals more damage but now only lasts 16 seconds.

He is a big man with a big ego and even bigger gun. Fortunately enough, his loyalty is easily won. Buy him a whiskey or three and promise him enough credits, and there's no job in the whole universe too dangerous for this outlaw.

HEALTH 1825 (+4.0%)
HEALTH REGEN 4.15 (+4.0%)
MANA 490 (+10)
MANA REGEN 2.90 (+0.10%)
ATK SPEED 3.5 PER SECOND
DAMAGE 48 (+4.0%)
RANGE 5.0

STRENGTHS:
[*] Extremely high sustained damage, especially against Tanks
[*] Can kite very effectively
[*] Good waveclear
[*] Strong late game

WEAKNESSES:
[*] Lacks notable burst damage
[*] Relatively low range for a ranged Assassin
[*] Dealing meaningful damage can be unsafe
[*] Poor means of escape if Run and Gun talents are not chosen
[*] Weak early game

I very much like your concept, although I think that I would change Overkill to deal a set amount of Spell Damage and that after being activated, duration triggers upon first basic attack.

I appreciate the comment. The only reason I would implement it is because A. very low range for a ranged assassin and B. to keep up with current high tier heroes. Mura stun, lili/jo blind, or any burst hero would easily be able to counter it, on top of low base damage that only really effects high hp heroes (most of which have either solid defensives or good mobility) I think it would be okay considering that most assassins could easily kill him with very minimal issue. I do agree that it is a hard mechanic to deal with in HoTs, but it is what it is. If tracer/genji were not already high tier, impactful assassins then this would not even be mentioned. Just my take of an assassin in the current meta.

I'm a tychus fan and like the rework, but 2 questions:
1. How does Overkill work with Minigun on secondary targets? Do they take 1% health damage, .5% health damage, or a flat 50% of the primary target damage?
2. Does Titan Grenade still do damage if you take Stun Grenade? Seems overtuned if it does, especially when you throw Grenadier on top.
Other than that, seems really good and balanced.

Hi DoctorFoxman,
First I wanted to say thank you for your questions, I really appreciate it! Secondly, I apologize for being unclear as to whether or not Overkill stacks with minigun. It does not. The idea was that while Overkill is active, minigun would not be activated and picking Sizzlin' Attacks at 20 would make overkill work like minigun and also have the splash deal an additional 1.5% max health as damage to the main target and secondary target. As far as the Stun Grenade talent goes the 5% bonus damage would not apply, but you could always pick up the Titan Grenade talent with it to gain an additional charge.

I hope I answered your questions in a way that made sense, lol. Thanks again for your feedback!
