Valeera Soft Rework (2025)

My Suggestions

Valeera, despite her difficulty, never truly rewards the time it takes to master her. Her talents need many changes too.

The idea behind this rework is to improve both gameplay and talents of the Shadow of the Uncrowned.

Stats
Health decreased from 2047 to 1920
Health Regen decreased from 4.2656 to 4
Attack Damage increased from 79 to 84

Entering Deep Shadows now takes 2 seconds instead of 3

Energy reduced from 25 to 20

Now has a Crit Kicker when used with 3 Combo Points

Damage over time duration changed from 7 to 4 seconds
Silence duration decreased from 2.5 to 2 seconds

LEVEL 1

Relentless Strikes (Moved from Level 4)(Reworked)
Hitting an enemy with Sinister Strike refunds 5 Energy, doubled against targets with reduced Armor.
Passive: Basic Attacks restore 1 Energy, doubled against targets with reduced Armor.

Subtlety
Duration decreased from 5 to 3 seconds.

Thistle Tea (Moved from Level 16)(Reworked)
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Activate to instantly restore 20 Energy.
❢Quest: Gather 20 Regeneration Globes to increase the amount of Energy restored by Thistle Tea to 60.

WANTED (New)
❢Quest: Gain Takedowns.
❢Reward: After 4 Takedowns, gain an additional 10% Movement Speed while Vanished.
❢Reward: After 8 Takedowns, reduce the cooldown of Vanish by 2 seconds.
❢Reward: After 12 Takedowns, increase your maximum Energy to 120.

LEVEL 4

+Vendetta (New)
Sinister Strike generates an additional Combo Point when hitting enemies with reduced Armor.

+Shiv (New)
Increase Cheap Shot's damage by 50%.
Eviscerating an enemy affected by Cheap Shot's Blind awards 1 Combo Point.

+Exsanguinate (New)
Reduce the Energy cost of Garrote by 10.
Blade Flurry deals 25% more damage against enemies affected by damage over time effects.

Initiative
Movement Speed bonus increased from 15% to 20%.
Combo Point bonus removed.

LEVEL 7

Sprint (New)
Increase the range of Sinister Strike by 25%.
Sinister Strike heals Valeera for 75% of the damage dealt.

Combat Readiness (Moved from Level 1)(Reworked)
Eviscerating an enemy restores 100 Health per Combo Point consumed.
Eviscerating an enemy with 3 Combo Points also grants 75 Physical Armor for 1.5 seconds.

Hemorrhage (Reworked)
Basic Attacks against enemies affected by Garrote deal 30% more damage and heal Valeera for 30% of the damage dealt.

Leeching Poison (New)
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Activate to make Valeera's next damaging ability and subsequent abilities within 4 seconds heal her for 25% of the damage dealt.
Activating Leeching Poison does not break Stealth.

LEVEL 13

Assassinate (Moved from Level 16)
Damage bonus decreased from 50% to 30%.
Armor reduction bonus increased from 10 to 15.

Blind
Bonus decreased from 2.5 to 2 seconds.

Strangle (Reworked)
Enemies affected by Garrote have their Spell Power reduced by 40%.

Wound Poison
Moved from Level 4.

LEVEL 16

Death From Above (Reworked)
Ambush no longer costs Energy.
Teleporting with Ambush generates an additional Combo Point and reveals the target for 3 seconds.

Fatal Finesse (Moved from Level 7)(Reworked)
Hitting only one Hero with Blade Flurry reduces its cooldown by 2 seconds and restores 5 Energy.

Slice and Dice (Moved from Level 7)
No longer passively makes Basic Attacks restore Energy.
Now passively grants 0.25 bonus Attack Range.

Crippling Poison (Moved from Level 1)
Slow increased from 20% to 25%.

LEVEL 20

Adrenaline Rush
Unchanged.

Enveloping Shadows
Unchanged.

Rupture
Unchanged.

Preparation Master (New)
Reduce the cooldown of all Poisons by 5 seconds and increase their duration by 1 second.
Requires at least 1 Poison.
