Valla - [Rework]

The Demonic Vengeance

DISCLAIMER: work in progress. Also, hasn't been balanced out yet.

This is my concept for an alternative high-skill Diablo Demon hunter auto-attack based hero. If you have an oppinion about it, leave a comment. I would love to read it :)

Combat Trait

Conviction
Passive - Discipline: Your Base attack damage is increased by 50% of your total bonus percentage attack speed and overhealing yourself by lifestealing will create a shield instead for up to 20% of your max health, which decays over 3 seconds if you haven't attacked anything in 15 seconds.

Passive - Hatred: Your basic attacks and abilities grant your resource, hatred, which is capped at 100. For every hatred you have you gain 0,2% attack speed and lifesteal (max 20%). 

Passive - Vengeance: Your basic attacks apply vengeance stacks on your target for 3 seconds up to 3 stacks. Vengeance is capped at 3 stacks. Your next Basic Attack on a target with 3 Vengeance stacks will consume the stacks and deal an additional 10% of his maximum health in damage.

Primary Abilities

[Q] Vindiction
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Skillshot

Shoot an arrow dealing basic-attack damage to the first hero or mercenary hit and applies on hit effects. Consumes all vengeance stacks and gains additional effects depending on stack count.

1 stack: Deals 125% basic-attack damage + 5% max-health and slows by 60% for 1.5 seconds.
2 stack: Deals 175% basic-attack damage + 10% max-health and roots the target for 1.5 seconds.
3 stack: Deals 250% basic-attack damage + 15% max-health and stuns the target for 1.5 seconds. Additionally, the arrow shatters and deals 80% of the primary damage to all enemies in a large range behind the initial target and slows them by 40% for 1.5 seconds.

When 3 stacks are consumed, the target becomes Death-Marked for 3 seconds slowing it for 20% , revealing him and making your Basic Attacks deal an additional 2% max-health as damage. If used within melee range, you will flip backwards to 80% of your max attack range.

[W] Execution
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Skillshot

Charge your crossbow up to 2 seconds to increase the range of this ability. You can move while charging and ability will be fired on release. The first hero hit by the arrow will be marked with Execution Sentence and revealed for 3 seconds. your Basic Attack range against the marked target is increased by 30%.

Reactivating this ability within 3 seconds will deal 50% of the damage you dealt to the target within this interval. If this kills the target, all enemies in a radius around the target will take the same damage and be stunned for 0.5 second and the cooldown of this ability will be reduced to 3 seconds.

[E] Vault
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Dash toward the targeted location. Additionally, resets your basic-attack timer and your next basic attack within 2 seconds will deal 100% additional damage and heal you for the same amount.

If your empowered basic attack hits a Death-Marked target, the cooldown of this ability will be reduced by 3 seconds. 

Heroic Abilities

Vendetta
Cooldown: 6 seconds
Cost: 20 Hatred and additional 5 per second

Consume your Hatred to activate your demonic fury. Increasing your movement and attack speed, range and lifesteal by 20%. Additionally, your abilities gain additional effects for the duration.

Vindiction: Deals 30% increased damage and can be reactivated within 2 seconds to teleport at 60% of your attack range behind the target and rooting him for 1 second.

Execution: Becomes instant max ranged and can be used again within 2 seconds to mark a second target that will take 100% of the execution damage on the primary target when the ability is reactivated. 
Execution Sentence timer will start after the second arrow has been fired or expired. Firing it on the same target will increase his damage taken from Execution Sentence by 25%.

Vault: Ignores collision with walls and you become invisible for 1 second when using it. Can be reactivated within 3 seconds to flip a short distance backwards. Cooldown of Vault will not be delayed during this interval.

Ability can be reactivated to disable and will be automatically disabled when insufficient hatred is available. You do not benefit from bonus attack speed and lifesteal from Hatred neither do your basic attacks generate Hatred while this ability is active.

Tier 1 Talents

Advancement 
Every 4 minions you kill will permanently increase your Basic Attack damage by 1. Hero kills count as 6 stacks.

Hatred Incarnate 
Hatred now also increases your damage dealt and movement speed by 0.15% per stack (max 15%).

Preparation   
Increases the shield cap from Discipline from 20% of your max health to 35% and shield generation while not being damaged by enemy heroes for 15 seconds is increased by 100%.

Relentless 
Reduces the cooldown of Vindication by 2 seconds for every enemy hero that gets hit by the area of effect damage. Maximum cooldown reduction is 6 seconds. 

Death Wish
Increase the duration of your Execution by 1.5 seconds and the skillshot charges twice as fast.

Tier 2 Talents

Cluster Arrow
your Basic Attacks deal 25% additional damage to enemies in a radius around the target. Additionally, When you consume Vengeance on a target with a Basic Attack, that basic attack will deal 75% increased damage and deal the same amount of damage to all enemies in a radius around the target. 

Marked for Death
Bonus damage on your Basic-Attack from Death-Mark is increased from 2% to 3% of the targets max health. Additionally, your Basic Attacks refresh the duration of Death-Mark on a target and can apply it if they consume Vengeance.

Convergence - (active)
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Cost: 30 Hatred

Instantly generate 75% of your maximum Discipline shield capacity and for the next 3 seconds, You are immune to movement imparing effects and enemies that damage your Discipline Shield will be damaged for 40% of their damage dealt to your shield.

Nowhere to Hide
increases the range and radius from Vindiction's cluster damage (3 stack effect) by 30% and increases the damage from 80% to 100% of the initial damage. 

Inevitable Fate
Increase Execution's range by 20% and Your Execution Arrow will now pierce through the target. If it colides with terrain or an enemy hero, both targets will be stunned for 1.5 seconds and recieve 300% of your Basic Attack damage. This damage is added to Execution Sentence's damage.

Tier 3 Talents

Evasive Fire
Increases the speed of vault and the damage on your next Basic Attack after using vault by twice your total percentage bonus Attack Speed. Additionally, cooldown reduction from hitting a Death-Marked target increased from 3 to 6 seconds, but vault range is reduced by 30%.

Prety interesting concept. I like the high skillcap and complexity, but it might need some streamlining because it feels a little bit too overwhelming. Other than that I'm interested to see the concept when it's fully completed. Certain abilities also might be overpowered like execution, but on the otherhand it also seems to have counters. I would just try to make the concept a little easier to apprehend and maybe move the more complex elements of the abilites into the talents? or than that, nice work.

Valla rly need rework tho, this would be alot better than what we have right now.

Remove these Max Health damage. The point on Heroes of the Storm is that all stats are "controled" - The health of the enemey will always be predictable (Ex: Stitches will have X at lvl 1 and X+Y at lvl 2) - this way Blizzard can make flat damage without fearing it will be too broken against squishy targets and too weak against tanky ones. Sometimes this happens but it is because the other team's tank is dealing a fantastic job on protecting and you will need Giant Killer to finish him quickly.

She has too much CC while having a nice escape tool such as Vault and survivability
Slow on BA; Slow/Root/Stun on Q and another Stun on E/Shield on overhealing

The buffs on basic attacks while Vendetta's active are just some of the talents she has/used to (Battle Momentum/Buffed Giant Killer)
