Vorazun (Talents Reworked)

Nerazim Matriarch

Vorazun is a hit-and-run support equipped with sustained healing and specializes in information manipulation and unique crowd control mechanics.
In the making of this Concept, I focused more on Vorazun being a Matriarch over being a Dark Templar which is why most of her abilities are not aimed at her engaging in direct combat. Although she is still capable of doing so with her relatively high basic attack dps, she is fragile so she should not aim to duel her enemies within a teamfight and only do so during a chase to clean up enemies.

Concept Guide:

All stats are level 0 stats. Including heroics, summoned units and talents gained above lvl 0.
All distance measurements are based around the width/height of an Abathur Mine.
* 1 radius circle = 2 abathur mines in diameter.
* 4 range = 4 abathur mines in a line.

Combat Trait

Veil of Shadows
Vorazun does not appear in the enemies' minimap. In addition, she moves 30% faster when she is not within enemy vision.

Primary Abilities

Dark Coil (Q)
40 Mana
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Range: 6
Width: 0.5
Blink distance: 3 range around target

Activate to charge to a target hero, dealing 180(+4%) damage and stunning it for 0.75 seconds. Vorazun can use this ability again within 1 second to blink to a distance near her target.

Orbital Assimilation (W)
65 Mana (Healing Globes recover 40(+4%) mana)
Cooldown: 6 seconds
Range: Global

Activate to warp a target Regeneration Globe to Vorazun.The warped Regeneration Globe acts like what it is, spreading to Allied Heroes near Vorazun, healing 12% of their maximum health and restore 8% of their maximum mana over 5 seconds.

(Passive): Allies can activate their Healing Fountains by clicking on Vorazun.
- Healing Globes taken in this manner does not contribute to allied heroes' Globe quests except for Vorazun.

- Self-casting this ability causes Vorazun to take the Regeneration Globe closest to Vorazun in the battlefield.

- Activating this ability without any globe in the battlefield causes this ability to not heal mana nor contribute to Vorazun's Globe Quests.

Healing Fountain Stats:
Heals 40% of the hero's maximum health and 30% of the hero's maximum mana.
120 second cooldown.

Cooldown: 18 seconds upon cast
Cone Angle: 50°
Cone Range: 12
Cone Close Width: 2

(Channeling): After a 1 second delay, Vorazun distorts the area in a large cone infront of her, blinding enemy heroes in the area. In addition, affected enemies can no longer see telegraphic AoE indicators of Hostile Abilities.
Telegraphic AoE indicators refers to the ground symbol that determines the ability's area of effect. Commonly, this appears in the form of a blue/red borderline but sometimes possess specialized designs. These specialized designs are also hidden. However, ability animations that mark the ground are not hidden from enemies.

Self Orbital Assimilation (1)
Activate to apply the effects of Healing Fountains to Vorazun. Using this ability puts Vorazun's Healing Fountain on cooldown.

Black Hole (R1)
75 Mana
Cooldown: 80 seconds
Range: 22
Radius: 4

Activate to command the Spear of Adun to warp in a vortex in the target area. After a 2 second delay, it aims at the target area. After the aiming delay, a global sound is heard and then after a 3 second delay, the vortex warps in, dealing damage to enemies equal to 2.5% of their max health per second and slowly sucking enemies to the center for 3 seconds. Enemies in the vortex cannot move, attack or cast abilities.
Aim Delay: 2 seconds
Strike Delay: 3 seconds
AoE indicator appears after aiming.

Chronomancy (R2)
100 Mana
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Range: Global

Instantly to pause the game for 4 seconds except for Vorazun. Vorazun cannot interact with paused objectives, units, items, heroes and structures expect for Allied Heroes and Self.
All game sounds are also paused for this duration, causing no sound to be heard except for the sounds Vorazun makes while walking around or casting abilities.

Lv 1



Orbital Reach (Active)

    - Mark a target ally with Orbital Reach. Orbital Assimilation now also affects the ally marked with Orbital Reach anywhere they may be in the battlefield. Regeneration Globes does not spread from the marked ally. 60 second cooldown.

Assimilation Surge (W)

- Quest: Collect Regeneration Globes in the battlefield.
- Reward: Reduce Vorazun's basic ability cooldowns by 1 second.
- Reward: After collecting 25 Regeneration Globes, basic ability cooldown reduction increased by 1 second.
- Reward: After collecting t0 Regeneration Globes, Rregeneration globes that spread through Vorazun now also reduces the cooldown of Allied Heroes' Healing Fountains by 2 seconds.

Shroud of Adun (Trait)
    - Increase bonus movement speed by 10% and recover mana 100% faster while Veil of Shadows is active.


Lv 4



Feedback (Active)
    - Instantly kill a target Mage Minion. 20 second cooldown. 2 charges. 8 range.

Nerazim Warfare (Trait)
    - Veil of Shadows now activates for 1 second after using Dark Coil as long as Vorazun is facing away from her target.

Strike from the Shadows (Q)
    - Dark Coil gains 40% more range and damage if cast while Veil of Shadows is active.

Revelation (Active)
    - Reveal enemies in the area and gain vision in a 1 radius area around them for 8 seconds. Does not grant vision of the target area. 20 second cooldown. 4 Radius AoE. 9 range.


Lv 7



Shadow Fury: (Q)
    - Blink can now be targetted on an enemy hero, dealing an untalented Dark Coil, dealing 150(+4%) damage and stunning it for .5 seconds.

Matriarch Multitasking (W)
    - Vorazun can now use Orbital Assimilation and Self Orbital Assimilation while channeling Disruption Wave.

Sonar Distortion (E)
    - Enemies within Distorion Wave can no longer hear game sounds. Additionally silences enemies within 3.5 range of the Cone, closest to Vorazun.


Lv 10

Cooldown: 80 seconds
Range: 22
Radius: 4

Phase Distortion (E)
    - Enemies are now slowed by 7.5% per second the longer they remain in the area of effect up to 30%.

Argus Crystal (1)
    - Activating Vorazun's Healing Fountain causes her basic abilities to recharge 200% faster. Additionally reduces the cooldown of Vorazun's healing fountain by 20 seconds.

Master Warp Scythe (Active))
    - Vorazun's Basic Attacks causes her to Blink behind her target enemy hero if their health is below 35%. 2 second cooldown. 5 range.


Lv 16



Shadow Mastery (Q)
    - Dark Coil gains a 2nd charge of Blink.
    - Blink Range: 3 range around Dark Coil target.

Rending Wave (E)
    - Enemy heroes within Distortion Wave lose 4 Armor per second. Can stack indefinitely.
    - (As the game's mechanic, Armor Reduction caps at -25.)

Mind Confusion (E)
    - Enemy Heroes within Distortion Wave are [Confused], causing their move commands to direct them to the opposite location.
    - Targeting units, items, objectives, heroes or structures still causes them to move towards it.


Lv 20



Event Horizon (R1)
    - Reduce the Armor of enemies within Blackhole by 25, causing them to take 25% more damage from all sources.

Chrono Surge (R2)
    - Vorazun's Basic Abilities recarge 100% faster for the duration of Chronomancy.

Maelstrom (E)
    - Instead of a cone, Disruptive Wave now affects the area in a 360

Abilities:
Dark Coil (Q)

- Cooldown increased from 9 to 12 seconds.
- Damage reduced from 200 to 180.
- Blink range reduced from 4 to 3.
Orbital Assimilation (W)

- No longer heals all allies in the map.

- New Functionality:
    - The target Regeneration Globe is now warped to Vorazun which then acts like a Normal Globe, spreading to Allied Heroes near Vorazun, healing 12% health and 8% mana over 5 seconds.

    - Self casting no longer takes a random regeneration globe in the battlefield. Instead, it now takes the globe closest to Vorazun.

    - Still does not contribute to Globe Talents

Disruption Wave (E)

- Now has a 1 second delay.
- Angle increased from 45

Yeah but the specific ability isn't. it has a lot of unfun elements to it since you basically are unable to play the game for 4 seconds because of a fight that is happening far across the map. That was the critique I received.
