In Heroes of the Storm, the Winter Queen takes the role of a tough healer that protects and heals her allies by distributing anima between them: whilst stealing anima from the enemy to weaken their attacks.
The Winter Queen is the creator and ruler of the realm of Ardenweald and its inhabitants, the Night Fae, who defend the spirits of nature. She is charged with the sacred task of maintaining the cycle of rebirth: restoring perished Wild Gods, Ancients, loa, and other nature spirits and returning them to the mortal plane. She and the land are one; when the land thrives, so does she.

Anima Flow
The Winter Queen uses Anima which caps out at 20, and is consumed to use abilities.

Anima regenerates at the rate of 1 Anima per 5 seconds but can be gained faster through attacks or abilities, but some abilities consume Anima quickly.

Allied heroes hit by your abilities are infused with Anima and damaging an enemy hero steals their Anima. A hero can have up to 10 Anima infused or stolen from them.

Each stack of Anima infused in an ally hero increases their armor by 2.
Each stack of Anima stolen from an enemy hero reduces their damage dealt by 2%.

Stacks fade after 4 seconds of not being affected by the Winter Queen. 1 stack every 0.2 seconds.

Reaping Touch
The Winter Queen's attack is a beam that does damage every ~0.45 seconds, dealing 37 damage with each tick.

If the victim is an enemy hero, you steal 1 Anima from them.

Primary Abilities

(Q) Winter Seed
Cost: 6 Anima
Cooldown: 6 Seconds


Plant an Anima-infused Winter Seed at the target location with 4 Anima Charges.

It pulses every 1 second, consuming 1 Anima Charge and healing allies for 45 health and dealing 25 damage to enemies.

Allies healed by the seed gain a stack of Anima.
Every time it damages an enemy hero, the Winter Seed steals 1 Anima from the victim.

The Winter Seed will continue to pulse for as long as it has at least 1 Anima Charge.
Each seed can have a maximum of 8 Anima Charges.

Cooldown: 9 Seconds


Heal an ally for 320 health over 2 second. Grants the target 10 Anima over the duration.

Can be used on an enemy hero to deal 140 damage over 2 second instead. Steals 10 Anima over the duration.

Erupt the targeted area, Dealing 120 damage to all enemies hit and stealing 3 Anima from each enemy hero hit.
Allies inside the area gain 3 Anima.

The Winter Queen gains a shield that absorbs 90 damage for each enemy hero hit. Lasts 4 seconds.

If the target is a hero, restore 75 health to them for each stack of Anima absorbed.

If the target is a Winter Seed, restore 55 health to all allies near it for each Anima Charge absorbed.

? Reward: After restoring 2000 health with Winter Seed, increase the maximum number of Anima Charges by 4.
? Reward: After dealing 2000 damage with Winter Seed, increase the initial number of Anima Charges by 4.

(E) Shifting Power
Absorb Anima's shield is also applied to nearby allied heroes and its cooldown is reduced by 2 seconds for each shield broken.

(Passive) Dire Measures
While below 10 Anima, your attacks deal 25% more damage and heal a nearby ally for 150% of the bonus damage dealt.

(Q) Seed of Extinction
Damaging enemy heroes 3 times with a Winter Seed causes the seed to burst, dealing 95 damage and
grants the Winter Queen 2 Anima for each enemy hero hit by the burst.

(Q) Seed of Regrowth
The first pulse of Winter Seed heals for 40% more per enemy Hero hit.

(E) Anima Infusion
Hitting a Winter Seed with Absorb Anima infuses the seed with 3 Anima Charges and refunds the cost of Absorb Anima.



Talent Tier 3 (Level 7)


(W) Blessing of Spring
Channeling Flurry for it's full duration on an ally heals them for an additional 120 health.

(W) Blessing of Summer
Channeling Flurry for it's full duration on any hero heals you for 160 health.

(W) Blessing of Autumn
Channeling Flurry for it's full duration on any hero reduces the cooldown of Flurry by 6 seconds.

(W) Blessing of Winter
Channeling Flurry for it's full duration on an enemy roots them for 1 second.



Talent Tier 4 (Level 10)


(H1) Winter's Respite
Cost: 0 Anima
Cooldown: 60 Seconds


Absorb all Anima of an ally hero or Winter Seed, returning the Anima to the Winter Queen.

If the target is a hero, restore 75 health to them for each stack of Anima absorbed.

If the target is a Winter Seed, restore 55 health to all allies near it for each Anima Charge absorbed.

(W) Illusionary Vulpin
Channeling Flurry for it's full duration on an enemy hero summons a Illusionary Vulpin at your location that chases the enemy for 5 seconds. If the Vulpin comes in contact with the target it explodes, dealing 120 damage to nearby enemies and stunning them for 1 seconds.

Damaging an enemy hero that is Slowed, Rooted, or Stunned with Absorb Anima deals an additional 60 damage and prolongs the effect by 1 second.

(W) Sprout
Channeling Flurry for it's full duration on any hero creates a Winter Seed on the targets position.

Flurry also casts an untalented version on a nearby player of the opposite team of the target.

(Passive) Lethal Extraction
Every 3rd attack steals 1 additional Anima and deals damage equal to 5% of the targets missing health.



Talent Tier 7 (Level 20)

(H1) Revitilize
Store 2 Charges of Winter's Respite with a 5 second cooldown between each use. Reduce the cooldown of Winter's Respite by 3 seconds for each Anima or Anima Charge absorbed.

(H2) Convoke the Spirit
Allies hit by the explosion are healed for 320 health over 2 seconds and enemies hit take 140 damage over 2 seconds. Cooldown is reduced by 7 seconds for each Hero hit.

(E) Fae Dust
Enemies hit by Absorb Anima are silenced for 1 second. This is increased by 0.4 for every enemy Hero hit beyond the first.

(Passive) Ethereal Walk
Gain 35% movement speed after not taking damage for 5 seconds. Gain 1 Anima every 1 second while this is active.
