Healer over time

Wuyang is a healer that only provides healing over time, but his trait makes him increase healing rates.

great in compos with lot a heals over time!

Combat Trait

Xuanwu staff
Hold to channel a beam on the nearest ally (medium range) affected by any heal(s) over time to increase healing rate by 150%.

Can do nothing while chanelling.

Note : increase healing rates of all heal over time sources
Only increase healing rate, not heal amount.

Primary Abilities

Restorative stream
Mana : 30, cooldown : 8 seconds. Long range.

Target an allied hero and heal him for 300 hp over 5 seconds.

can be casted on a foutain to empower it, casting a restorative steam on the next hero who use it.

Water orb
Mana : 60, cooldown : 14 seconds,
Very long range, medium detonation radius

Creates a water orb that moves to targeted hero. Orb detonates when reach its target, dealing 120 damaged to enemies and heal allies by 120 hp over 3 seconds. Effects are increased by 100% on primary target.

Can be reactivated when travelling to change target.
Cooldown starts upon detonation.

Rushing torrent
Mana : 50, cooldown : 12 seconds

Dash on medium distance.
Gain unstopable during dash.
Heals allies it passes through for 80 hp over 3 seconds

Heroic Abilities

Guardian wave
Mana : 80, cooldown : 60 seconds.
Big square aera.

Creates a large wave that deals 200 damaged and push back enemies.
Allied affected receives 100% more heals by wuyang for 10 seconds

Tidal blast
Mana : 90, cooldown : 70 seconds
Very long range.

Grants a 300hp shield to target allied.
After one second, removes shield and detonates, knocking back nearby enemies, and heal the target for 700hp over 5 seconds.

extended staff
increase xuanwu staff's range by 100%
quest : hit 30 heroes with water orb. hit 5 heroes with one water orb completes this quest
reward : increase basic abilities range by 20%

xuanwu's overflow
increase xuanwu staff's healing rate augmentation up to 200%
quest : collect 20 regen globes
reward : restorative stream instantly heals for 20% of its healing amount.

channel xuanwu staff also cast an untalented secondary beam to an other hero in range
secondary beam increase healing rate by 100%
quest : hit heroes with basic attacks 40 times
reward : xuanwu staff cast a third beam.

level 4 - heal

pure water
every time a wuyang heal over time is completed, instantly heal affected hero by 15% of those heals
When a hero uses an empowered fountain, decrease his fountain cooldown by 20 seconds

regenerative stream
increase restorative stream heals up to 400hp over 7 seconds

healing torrent
increase Rushing torrent heals by 100% and its width by 30%

level 7 - orb

large orb
increase water orb radius by 50%

orb torrent
decrease orb of water cooldown by 3 seconds and its mana cost by 50%

concentrated orb
increase orb effects on primary target up to 150%

level 13 misc

shared stream
target an ally hero with restorative stream also cast it on wuyang, but with half heal and duration
empower a fountain with restorative stream sets its cooldown to 2 seconds and refund its mana cost.

rushing river
rushing torrent gains a second charge
rushing torrent increase next basic attack damages by 100%

technical combat
basic attacks decrease basic abilities cooldowns by 0.5 seconds

level 16 - combat

heavy staff
Basic attacks deals an additional amount of damages equal to 1% of enemy's maximum hp
every third attack on the same target deals 3% instead.

overflow
at the end of its path, rushing torrent deals 150 damages on a small aera and knock back enemies on a small distance

detonating orb
water orb detonation stuns enemy primary target for 1 second
water orb grants unstopable to its allied primary target

level 20 - storm

guardian tsunami
increase guardian's wave width by 20%
guardian wave runs through the whole map

tidal explosion
incease primary shield amount and knock back distance by 100%
increase heals by 20%

falling rain
gain all level 7 talents
increase water orb move speed by 30%

guardian staff
xuanwu staff doesn't need to be channeled any more :
its passively casted on nearest ally.
increase attack speed by 20%

Listen, as much as I respect the effort, making concepts for OW2 characters, especially the recently released ones, just feels wrong.

This concept is nice though. My only gripe about his basekit is [Xuanwu Staff]. What exactly do you mean by increasing healing rates of all sources? It sounds like it makes characters unkillable. Does it also make you unable to move?

[Extended Staff] is difficult to rate because "medium range" does not say much. It is much better to mention another ability with equal cast range in the description instead. Same with other abilities.

[Pure Water] is confusing. Were you trying to say that casting it on a healing fountain reduces its cooldown by 20 seconds? But for who?

[Regenerative Stream] is even more confusing. How does it even work? Does it make Q heal targets by ~57% more every second?

[Technical Combat] is very weak, especially for Level 13, especially compared to other options, and is quite boring.

[Heavy Staff] feels out of place for a character who is completely about healing.

[Detonating Orb] is also difficult to rate since there is nothing that indicates how fast the orb moves.

[Falling Rain] has the same issue as [Detonating Orb]. You really need to add comparisons to other abilities in your concepts.

[Guardian Staff] is detrimental. You never want to lose control over such a strong effect. This talent should not remove the ability to manually select the target.

I updated trait : increase healing RATE, not the amount of heals. Just heal faster.
And yes "can do nothing" means no move.
When used on a hero affected by regenerative steam, the hero is still healed by 300hp, but probably in something like 2 seconds instead of 5.

I added teleportation to technical combat.

Heavy staff is a damages talent. I dont see the problem with diversified options : morales has something similar.

Imagine water orb moving like a pyroblast, but 2 or 3 times faster.

Concerning guardian staff : baseline trait doesn't makes you select the target, this talent just makes you able to act while channeling trait.

Pure water decrease the cooldown of the hero who use it. That what the "HIS" refers to in the description.

I dont want to give to many informations about ranges or speed. Its just a concept creation tool. Just imagine... And i want to keep them easy to read. Just see the global philosophy and imagine values that looks balanced to your eyes.

Heal what faster? What about healing that activates every x seconds?

Morales has more than just healing though, and her "offensive" talents do more than just increasing her dps.

That does not really help.

It should not be that difficult to write a comparison. It is much easier to imagine something when there is a comparison than to guess with something vague like "medium range" or something similar.
