Zagara

Rework Allowing More Skill Expression

The main idea behind this rework proposal is to make Zagara a much more interactive Hero and to allow it's players to have much more control over her abilities and strengths so it is'nt anymore an unfair Hero against beginners while it is too easy to counter for more experienced ones.

The changes thus made to her kit where:
- Add impact to her Basic attacks by increasing slightly it's damages and cooldown reduction (while all cooldowns are made longer)
- Add control over her Summons by making Hydralisk retargetable and making Baneling guiding Roachlings focus.
- Add some decision-making by making all her spells stronger but limited by a much more rigid ressource.
- Massive talent changes to adapt into previous changes and to allow more strategic decisions regarding talents and permit build hybridation.
- Buffed level 13 talents to bring tools in order to be able to outplay divers.

Reviews and suggestions more than welcome.

Combat Trait

D - Creep Tumor
Cooldown: 21 / 3 seconds

Lay a Creep Tumor that generates Creep. Tumors last 240 seconds and reveal the surrounding area while active.
While on Creep, Zagara moves 20% faster, her summons move 30% faster and each Basic Attack reduces all of Zagara's cooldowns by 0.3 seconds against non-heroic targets and 0.5seconds against heroic targets.

Stores up to 3 charges.

Larvae
Uses Larvae Charges instead of Mana.
Stores up to 8 charges and regenerate a Larva charge every 10 seconds.

Primary Abilities

1
Q - Baneling Barrage
1 Larva per 2 charges loaded.
Cooldown: 5 seconds to get 2 charges / 0.125 seconds between each charge

Launch a Banelings that deal 86 damage to the enemies they hit and reduces their spell armor by 15 points for 5 seconds.

Stores up to 2 charges.

W - Hunter Killer
1 Larva
Cooldown: 24 seconds

Summon a Hydralisk to attack a single target, dealing 74 damage per second.
The Ability can be reactivated to retarget the Hydralisk.
Lasts 10 seconds.

E - Infested Drop
2 Larvae
Cooldown: 16 seconds

Bombard target area with a Zerg Drop Pod for 240 damage.

The pod spawns 2 Roachlings that deal 55 damage per second and last for 10 seconds.
The Roachlings will prioritize attacking Heroes most recently hit by Banelings in their sight range.

R1 - Devouring Maw

100 Seconds Cooldown

Summon a Devouring Maw that devours enemies for 4 seconds. Devoured enemies cannot fight and take 94 damage per second.

R2 - Nydus Network
1 Larva
Charge Cooldown: 120 seconds

Summon a Nydus Worm on Creep anywhere that Zagara has vision. Zagara can enter a Nydus Worm and travel to any other Nydus Worm by right-clicking near it. While inside a Nydus Worm, Zagara regenerates 15% Health per second.

Stores up to 2 charges. Maximum of 5 Nydus Worms at a time.

Passive: Creep spreads 15% farther.

Level 1

Larvae recuperation tier.

Inject Larva (Passive) :
Collecting a Regeneration Globe grant a Larva charge.
(!) Gambit : Increase Zagara's Health by 15% and her life regeneration by 100%. Looses 3% and 20% at each death.

Mutalisk (Active) : Spawn a Mutalisk that have a bounce (x2) attack and progress on the nearest lane for 30 seconds.
If the Mutalisk hit at least 45 targets during it's lifespan, Zagara retrieves 5 Larvae at the end of it.
30 seconds cooldown, cost 1 Larva.

Infest (Active) : Nearby Ranged Minions deal an additional 100% damage. Can be toggled on or off.
(!) Quest : Infest gain an additional 1% damage per 1000 Siege damage Zagara has dealt.
(!) Reward : Larvae gain an additionnal charge and reduces the Larva regeneration time by 0.75 seconds per 20 000 Siege damage Zagara has dealt up to 80 000.

Level 4

Basic Attack improvement tier.

Medusa Blades (Passive) : Zagara split her basic attack to hit 3 additionnal nearby targets. The basic attack damage on all 4 targets is reduced to 45% of it's normal damage. Only the Attack against the main target reduces Zagara's cooldowns on Creep.
(!) Quest: Each Basic Attack (normal and additionnal ones) against a Hero increases Zagara's split Attack Damage by 0.1% of it's normal damages, up to 90% in total.

Envenomed Spines (Active) : Activate to have Zagara's next Basic Attack apply 230 damage over 5 seconds. 30 seconds cooldown.

Frenetic Spines (Active) : Activate Frenetic Spines to gain 40% Attack Speed on Creep for 6 seconds. Recharges Frenetic Spines by damaging enemy Heroes with Banelings 10 times.

level 7

Spells improvement tier.

Baneling Massacre (Q) : Gain 2 additional charges of Baneling Barrage and reload 3 charges instead of 2 at once for 1 Larva, but increase its cooldown by 4 seconds.

Volatile Acid (W/E) : (!) Gambit : Increases Zagara's summons HP by 30%; Every death reduces this bonus by 6%.

Bile Drop (E) : Increases the radius of Infested Drop by 20%.
(!) Quest: Increases Infested Drop damages by 10 each time it hit a Hero.
(!) Reward: After hitting 16 Heroes with Infested Drop, it spawns an additional Roachling.

level 13

Defensive tier

Brood Transfusion (W/E) : Zagara is healed for 50% of the damage dealt by Hunter Killers' Basic Attacks to Heroes and shielded for 30% of the damage dealt by Roachlings Basic Attacks to Heroes for 3 seconds.

Protective Coating (D) : While on Creep, Zagara gains 20 Armor and 5% additionnal movement speed.

Spell Shield (Active) : Every 30 seconds, gain 60 Spell Armor against the next enemy Ability and subsequent Abilities for 3 seconds.
Can be toggled to allow or prevent this talent from triggering automatically.

level 16

Power-Spike Tier

Viscous Acid (Q) : Banelings Slow enemies by 25% for 3 seconds. Hit a Hero with a Baneling increases Zagara basic attack range while on creep by 1.1 meters for 3 seconds.

Pack Instinct (W) : Zagara and her summons deal 20% more damage to enemies attacked by a Hunter Killer in the last 2 seconds.

Corrosive Saliva (W/E/Passive) : When attacking Heroes, Zagara, Hunter Killers and Roachlings deal additional damage equal to 1.25% of their maximum Health.

level 20

Storm/Roachling Tier

Broodmother (R2/Active) : Activate to summon 4 Roachlings than last 40 seconds from each active Nydus Worm. 90 seconds cooldown.

Darken the skies (E/Active) : Activate to gain for 5 seconds 5 charges of Infested Drop with no Larva cost and 0.125 seconds cooldown between charges. 90 seconds cooldown.

Corpse Feeders Strain (E) : Every 8th Basic Attack or when an enemy Hero dies nearby, casts a free Infested Drop at a random enemy near Zagara's position. This prefers Heroic targets.

Vile Strain (E) : Roachlings basic attacks slows there target by 6%, reduces their heal received by 15% and damages done by 10% for 4 seconds. Stack up to 5 times.
