Poll Question:

How to deal with split pushing specialist
Leave 1 hero to pressure (4v4 - 1v1)
Try to gank as a team, be late to the objective
5v4 the objective, then deal with the specialist

Let's start with a scenario:
QM - Infernal Shrines
My team: Garrosh Arthas Kel'Thuzad Chromie Valeera(me)
Enemy team: Zagara, Chen, Greymane, Alarak, Sylvanas
I'm laning top against Sylvanas.
First shrine starts at bottom.
Team engages in 4v4, their Sylv stays top, so I stay top.
Team loses engagement and 2 die.
Immediately the Chromie(who died) pings me and says "lets try to stay with the team?" or some **** like that.

imo an unmarked sylv can push the fort harder than the first punisher. I've been in qms where the first punisher couldn't even get a tower. But some people still insist on prioritizing objective no matter the situation.
On a side note: it drives me nuts when the team doesn't take a free fort after wiping the enemy team just to do the objective. By the time we finish the objective, the enemy team respawns and we lose momentum.

Back to the issue:
Taking the comp and map into account, what's the best strategy vs a split pushing specialist?
Leave 1 to defend? Gank the specialist then rotate to objective? Go 5v4 and hope you win the objective quickly?
There's risk to each strategy, the gank could fail and sylv could just banshee away. The 5v4 could take too long or even fail to take the objective.
What I knew for sure in that situation was that I could keep that sylv from touching the towers on top lane.

This is a great discussion. I play specialists quite a bit and my matches actually usually end up "over-specialized," wherein there is a disproportionate number of specialists on one team, so it makes these situations even more tough. Waaaaay too many games have I noticed specialists being able to free-push their lanes, and I don't know if it's just that it would require more than one person to gank (based on composition) or if people just aren't confident in their ability to deal. It's super frustrating! Personally, I think gank rotations will usually do a good job of teaching the player that the team won't let the free pushing fly, but for the most part they should still keep trying so what can you do?

Hey guys,
yes there are a lot of issus in mm and what teammates do or think in this cases. In my opinion it´s best to ping that u are stay on lane or simply write it in chat (or what ever u want to do). This way u mb cant prevent flame or some **** like this, but u maaaaaybe prevent dumb ingages from ur team of so.
But whatever u do, pls don´t do anything if team doesn´t (doesn´t matter what is right or wrong in ur opinion) and flame after ur heroic death " where are u guys", "where is my team" etc.... sometimes not everybody understands a good idea and u simply have to follow teams decision. :)
