Heroes of the Storm Forums

WikiBase is our unique combination of Wiki and Database. Both these platforms have their strengths and their weaknesses and up until now sites have had to choose one or the other. No longer!

With WikiBase we are able to harness the power of a database with the flexibility of a wiki! Using this combination allows us to store important data in database form while allowing continued expansion on information in wiki form. This means all the cool tools and features commonly found on Database sites, such as hero builders, calculators and quick links can be created from the WikiBase data and those passionate fans who love to pour in hours of hard work on lore, expanded information, definitions etc can also do so and in a complimentary, instead of adversarial fashion.

This is our first community running this powerful new system and we plan to add a lot of new features to continually streamline ease of use along with developing some awesome tools for Heroes of the Storm.

Firstly, love the look of this site, nice job! Secondly, will this feature be moved to MobaFire? :P

Also, this looks a little awkward:



Perhaps just for this page alone, go 4 tiles in the first row and 3 in the bottom row? Alternatively, make it even by adding a "HotS Wiki" tab, like the MobaFire Wiki has, wherein help, guide writing tools etc are available.

As far as I know it won't be coming to MOBAFire because the site code's are so different it will be very hard to implement. I could be wrong though.

It definitely looks awkward now but once a couple more categories are added it won't look too bad. I'm not sure if it's possible to split them evenly but I will ask.
