Prince Aidan of Khanduras, later known as the Dark Wanderer, was the eldest son of King Leoric of Khanduras. Once a warrior, he later became a vessel for the Prime Evil Diablo.

In my Hero Concept for Aidan, his kit has a few similarities with Leoric's. His Q ability (Dark Sweep) is kinda similar to Leoric's Skeletal Swing. The difference is instead of slowing the enemies, it blinds them. One of Aidan's trait is Wander. When Aidan dies, similar to Leoric, a ghost of the Hero will still be controllable to disrupt enemy units in the battlefield. The difference here is that Aidan is not a ghost but a visage of wanderer and he moves slowly. When Aidan respawns, he respawns in the base and not where his visage is. Some talents are kind of similar.

I chose to make Aidan a little similar to Leoric to show a connection between the father and son. Even though they have a few similar elements, the playstyle will still be a lot different.

I also used "evil numbers" in Aidan's concept.


APPEARANCE:
Prince Aidan will have no helmet to reveal his face. He wears his cloak as the Dark Wanderer but his hood is off to show his head. He has a relatively large shield on his left arm and a sword in his right hand.

Your basic attacks get stronger with less health you have.

Wander
When you die, you turn into a dark visage of a cloaked man. You can control it but it moves 44.44% slower. Enemies near the visage are slowed by 44.44%. The visage cannot attack or cast any ability. It only slows enemies down passively.

The visage disappears when you re-spawn.

Primary Abilities

Dark Sweep
Swing your sword in front of you to deal 120.64 (+4% per level) damage and blind enemies for 2.50 seconds. Deals double damage to minions and structures.

Every enemy unit killed by this ability permanently increases your max mana by 1.5.

Cost: 5% of your max health.
Cooldown: 8 seconds.

Shield Bash
Deal 69.23 (+4% per level) damage to a target in melee range and stun the target for 1.50 seconds.

Cost: 40 mana
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Mana Shield
Toggle to enfold yourself into a protective shield. When this ability is active, decrease all incoming damage by 50% and redirect all incoming damage to your mana.

Cost: 5% of max health (upon toggling on)
Cooldown: 1 second

Heroic Abilities

Flame Wave
Wave your sword to launch a wall of flames that moves slowly towards a direction. All enemy units that touch the flames are slowed by 44.44% for 4.44 seconds and will receive 444.44 (+4% per level) damage over 4.44 seconds.

(Can kill the caster when used with low health.)

Cost: 44% of your max health over 4.44 seconds
Cooldown: 88 seconds

Ring of Terror
Instill terror on your enemies' minds by creating a ring of fire around you to boost your movement speed by 44%, deal 66.6 (+4% per level) damage per second to nearby enemies, and silence nearby enemy Heroes. Lasts for 6.66 seconds.

(Can kill the caster when used with low health.)

Cost: 44.44% of your max health over 4.44 seconds
Cooldown: 66.6 seconds

Talents

Level 1 (Tier 1):

Seasoned Marksman
For every 6 enemy Minion or Mercenary kills near your Hero, gain 1 Basic Attack damage. Hero Takedowns count as 3 Minion kills.

Long Blade
Increases the range of Dark Sweep by 25%.

Soul Blade
Dark Sweep restores 12.5 mana per enemy hit, up to 75 mana.

Regeneration Master
Collecting Regeneration Globes permanently increases Health Regeneration by 1.5 per second.

Conjurer's Pursuit
Collecting Regeneration Globes permanently increases Mana Regeneration by 0.1 per second.



Level 4 (Tier 2):

Blade Thirst
Every Basic Attack reduces Dark Sweep's cooldown by 1 second.

You are Alone
Dark Sweep deals 250% damage if only one target is hit.

Hitting an enemy with Shield Bash

Skins

Master Aidan
Backstory: Through the many fights of Aidan in the Nexus, the Lord of Terror inside him is slowly taking over him.
Appearance: Aidan's skin is slightly red. Horns are protruding on his head. He receives a pair of horned shoulder plates. Sword and shield are somewhat demonic.

Star Walker Aidan
Backstory: Aidan has been training and honing his skills in order to defeat the evil Space Lord Leoric.
