Lord of Lies

Belial, Lord of Lies, Usurper of Kehjistan, Master of the Dark Coven, Instigator of the Civil War of Hell, Host of the Unclean Vermin of the World, and a picturesque island park on the Detroit River.

Wait...

The Lord of Lies, Belial is a cunning and calculating Ranged Assassin who uses deception and illusion to trick his enemies into entering unwinnable situations.

Combat Trait

Deceiver
Cooldown: 30 seconds

Summon an invisible Snake Demon to guard a map objective (Map objective, watchtower, Merc camp). Snake Demon will attack enemies who attempt to take the objective, and can contest (but not capture) objectives. Snake Demon can also be summoned to replace a friendly Minion, disguising themselves as that minion until the they are damaged by a heroic source or fall below 60% Hp. Holds 2 charges with a 4 second cooldown between uses. Deceivers last 10 second after revealed. Can have 2 active Deceivers.

Primary Abilities

Deception
Cooldown: 11 seconds
Mana: 50

Select a nearby Allied Hero. Gain a 260 Hp shield and disguise yourself as that Hero, complete with Battle Tag, fake Hp/Resource bars, Auto Attack and Mount (not including Z abilities or mount Talents). Remain disguised until Deception is canceled, shield is broken, or another ability is used. If Deception is canceled manually or by ability cast you retain it's shield for 2 seconds. Can mount, channel and contest objectives while disguised.

Cooldown doesn't start until the disguise is ended.

Vile Swarm
Cooldown: 7 seconds
Mana: 30

Send out 3 swarms of insects in a target direction, spreading in a cone shape. Swarms will deal 114 damage and apply a 4 second Poison to the first enemy they hit, dealing 76 damage per second. Target will also deal half the damage of the Poison in a small area around them. Targets can only be effected by one Swarm at a time.

Shroud of Lies
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Mana Cost: 5 per second

Create an area that makes all Allies inside it invisible to enemies outside the area. Lasts until canceled or until Belial is Silenced, put in Stasis or killed.

Secondary Abilities

Slam
Cooldown: 5 seconds

Punch the ground in a nearby location, stunning enemies in the area and in a short area around it for 1 second. Deals (heavy) damage to enemies in the area, and ? damage to nearby enemies.

Meteor
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Charges: 3

After 1.5 seconds, cause an explosion of hellfire in a target area, dealing 265 damage and 45 damage per second for 3 seconds to enemies hit. Cooldown refreshes all charges.

Flame Breath
Cooldown: 8 seconds

Breath Fire in a wide sweeping cone, clockwise. Deal damage to enemies hit, and reduce the cooldown of all True Visage abilities by 2 seconds for each Hero damaged.

Heroic Abilities

Cooldown: 100 Seconds
Mana: 80

After a 1.5 second channel, transform into a massive, immobile vision of your true form. Attacks now deal 130 area damage in a straight line, and gains a new set of abilities. Immune to CC while in this mode, and gain 50% Damage Resistance. Allies can move through you while in this form.

Mass Confusion
Cooldown: 100 seconds
Mana: 80

Incite madness in all Enemies in an large area around you, causing enemies to become confused. Confused enemy Heroes will have their movement and aiming controls moved by a random 45 degree angle and can deal 60% Spell Damage to their allies, and will have their Armor reduced by 10. Confused non-Heroes will randomly attack the closest unit to them. Effect lasts for 3 seconds.

Special Mount

Sacrificial Summon / Mount (While Q is Active)
Cooldown: 60 seconds

Activate to Teleport to a Snake Demon after a 2 second channel, consuming the demon and healing Belial for the demon's remaining Hp.

When Deception is Active, this ability becomes your chosen allies Mount. Will not allow special Mount effects or talents.

Talents (unsorted/Unused)

[Q]
Body Double [Active]- Activate to swap locations with your Deception partner. Doing this will put Deception on a 3 second duration. Cooldown is 60 seconds.
Unseen Business- Use Deception on yourself to enter Stealth.

[W]
Unclean One- Damage aura heals Belial for ? Hp per second. Heal effect can stack with multiple auras.

[E]
- Allies within Shroud of Lies gain 50 Spell Armor from attacks cast outside Shroud of Lies.

Level 1

Words of Poison [D]
Deceivers attacks apply poison to enemies, dealing 34 damage per second for 3 seconds. Any Poisoned enemies can't capture objectives when near Belial or his spies, regardless of the poisons source. Poison cannot stack with itself.

Serpent Magus [D]
Deceivers gains a ranged electricity attack. If surrounded, Deceivers will channel an electrical field attack that deals 56 damage per second and slows enemy movement speed by 25%.

Master of Deceit [E]
Quest: Gather Regeneration Globes.
Reward:After the gathering 15 Regeneration Globes, decrease the Mana Cost of Shroud of Lies to 3 Mana per second.
Reward:After gathering 30 Globes, Shroud of lies costs no mana and Allies in Shroud of Lies have their Health and Mana Regeneration increased by 300%.

Level 4

Blind Sided [Q]
After breaking disguise, your next Basic Attack against an Hero within 2 seconds will deal 60% more damage and Stun the target for 1 second.

Explosive Disguise [Q]
Deal ? Damage and knockback nearby enemies when Deception ends.

Demonic Boon [Q]
Chosen ally is healed for ? Hp over 3 seconds. Belial receives a Heal equal to the percentage of the allies Total Hp restored from Demonic Boon.

Level 7

Venomous Chains [W]
Create chains between any Swarmed targets within 6 meters of each other. Chains deal 45 damage per second to enemies they contact and slow their hosts by 30%. Slowing effect does not stack.

Desecrate [W] [Active]
Activate to cause all effected targets to apply a damaging pool at their feet. Pool deals 65 damage per second and lasts for 4 seconds.

Perfect Illusion [E]
Removes reveal effects.

Level 10

Level 13

Infiltrate [Q]
Deception can be used on enemy Heroes to disguise yourself as them. Enemy units and structures won't auto attack you, but you can't attack without ending the effect and the cooldown is doubled.

Eternal Devotion [Z]
No longer kills the demon, instead refreshing it's duration and healing both for a set amount.

Dying Vice [Z]
Demon becomes Unkillable while Channeling Sacrificial Summon.

Level 16

Plagued Trap [W]
Lowers travel distance of swarms by 30%. However, Swarms now travel 50% faster and will linger at the end of their flight path for 4 seconds.

Forsworn [W]
Fire 4 swarms.

Fatal Mistake [E]
Slows enemies by 80% for 2 seconds the first time they touch a Shroud of Lies area. Only works once per unit per cast.

Level 20

Hell Rift [R1]
Teleport to a chosen location after channeling True Visage. Can be cast to any location within the sight range of Belial or his Decievers. Successfully channeling True Visage will heal Belial for 30% of his Total Hp.

Paranoia [R2]
Friendly Fire Damage increased to 80%, and lasts 1 additional second.

Lord of Flies [W]
Gain a damage aura while any enemy is effected by Vile Swarm, dealing 87 damage per second. You act as an additional Vile Swarm target, benefiting from all talent effects. (Ex: Can chain targets, cast Desecrate, Heal from Unclean One)

Shadow Dash [Active]
Sink into the shadows, entering Stasis, and dash toward a target location. Any enemies you pass under will be poisoned for ? Damage over ? seconds. Cooldown is 60 seconds

Cosmetics

Beli'O the Amazing- Legendary Skin

A master of a disguise and sleight-of-hand, Beli'O has performed with Gazlowe and Gallywix's Splendiferous Extravaganza for years as one of their star attractions. The only mystery more perplexing than how he performs his seemingly impossible feats of illusion is why his nosiest skeptics keep disappearing...

Details: Takes the form of a floating masked magician, with only his exposed eyes hinting at his true form.
-Decievers: Resemble stagehands or magic assistants, who's flowing tail-like dresses conveniently mask their (lack of) feet.
-Deception: Accented by a puff of smoke and swing of a cloak.
-Vile Swarm: A swirl of confetti and playing cards. Venomous Chains becomes a rope of colored handkerchiefs.
-Shroud of Deceit: Drawing of a curtain.
-Sacrificial Summon: Belial enters a trick box as he channels the ability.
-True Visage: A massive puppet, uses pyrotechnics instead of hellfire.

Jumbelial- Legendary Skin

Well, um... yeah, their is no justifying this. Just pretend you didn't see it.

Details: Is dressed like a stereotypical chef... with a mustache. Because puns.
-Decievers: Also dressed like chefs, except without mustaches, and with slightly less ridiculous hats.
-Vile Swarm: Composed of Shrimp, sausage and vegetables.
-Shroud of Deceit: Floor gains a kitchen floor aesthetic, with tiles and food stains.
-True Visage: Still wearing chefs attire, portal he emerges from resembles a boil pot of stew.
-Hearthstone: Rapidly cuts several vegetables on a table and pushes them into a pot. Pulls up a bound and gagged minion, looks back and forward between his knife and the minion, then tosses the knife away and pulls a massive cleaver from under the table.

This seems really fun! My only suggestion would be to increase the cooldown of Decievers since it has a pretty short cooldown for a weaker but almost permanent Gargantuan.

I haven't given it a cooldown yet...
But while we're on the subject, do you think I should make Shroud of Deceit a Heroic instead? I feel it may have too much utility for a baseline ability and I'm not very fond of Living Nightmare's current incarnation anyway.
