Blackheart

Pirate Captain

Blackheart is a late game Territorial Siege Warrior whose main feature is his ability to empower his abilities by spending Doubloons and his immobile summoned unit that can cast an ability from very long range to provide damage, zoning and CC. He is extremely versatile as he can play and counter many playstyles at the cost of some Doubloons. He additionally have the ability to siege enemy fortifications, forcing the enemy to fight on his terms. However, he lacks utility outside his territory and the utility he has outside it costs a lot of Doubloons.
Blackheart is an evil pirate lord and an undead one at that. He and his undead pirate crew seized the realm of Mistharbor, turning it into a den of vice and villany. Now, Blackheart has been summoned in the Nexus but he is the Blackheart who have already had his revenge on Commander Ford unlike the Map Announcer Blackheart who still haven't. Come pay Blackheart with a bunch of treasures to buy his loyalty and fight for you for a whole game!!

* 4 range = 4 abathur mines in a line.

Combat Trait

1
Undying Greed
Blackheart does not use mana for his abilities. Instead, he spends Doubloons to empower his abilities.

In addition to regeneration globes, mage minions near Blackheart drop 3 Doubloons upon death. Additionally, Enemy Heroes killed near Blackheart drop a Treasure Chest which contains 5 Doubloons. Blackheart can hold up to a maximum of 50 Doubloons.

Doubloons lasts for 10 seconds while Treasures last 50% longer.

The Hero Blackheart's Doubloons are Silver Doubloons and are smaller compared to the Map Announcer Blackheart's Gold Doubloons.
2
Spend Doubloon (2)
Activate to increase the amount of Doubloons Blackheart spends when he casts an Ability by 1.
3
Save Doubloon (3)

Primary Abilities

1
The Black Ship (1)
Cooldown: 30 seconds (Starts upon summoning, not after destroyed.)
Duration: ∞
Health: 400(+4%) [Same as Probius Pylons]
Minimum Firing Range: 6
Maximum Firing Range: 16
Firing Range Angle: 36° Cone

After a 2 second delay, summon a cannon that lasts indefinitely at a target location, facing a target direction. After materializing, Blackheart gains the ability to use Fire!!(Q).
Spend Doubloons(D)
Blackheart can spend up to 9 Doubloons on a Cannon. For every doubloon spent, its Cone Shaped Firing Range's Angle widens by 36° up to 324°(+36° Baseline = 360° Circle).

Spend 10 Doubloons (D x 10)
Blackheart's Ship will be summoned instead of a cannon, increasing its health by 200%. However, it materializes 100% slower, have a global announcement, is always revealed to enemies, its cooldown begins only after death and grants 25% experience when killed.

Reactivating this ability when a cannon/ship is active causes it to gradually return to its ghost form and disappear from the battlefield after a 3 second delay. Does not refund coins.
2
FIRE!! (Q)
Cooldown: 4 seconds
Minimum Firing Range: 6
Maximum Firing Range: 16
AoE Radius: 2
Center AoE Radius: 1 [Malfurion W]

Fire a cannonball at a target location within the cannon/Black Ship's firing range that deals 130 damage(+4%) and enemies are knocked slightly away from the center. Enemies hit at the center take 50% more damage and are stunned for .5 seconds.
Spend Doubloons(D)
Blackheart can spend up to 2 Doubloons on Fire!!(Q). Spending Doubloon causes enemies in the center to be stunned for 0.25 seconds longer and causes the cannonball to travel 10% faster. Can spend up to 2 doubloons.

Creator Note: The range is balanced by the fact that it is stationary, has minimum range, and hitting the enemy backline with it isn't too great as no one will be there to follow up on its stun without leaving the cannon vulnerable to flank.
3
Plundering Crew (W)
Cooldown: 8 second cooldown
Cast Range: 4.5

Send 2 Undead Pirates to attack a target enemy, dealing 23(+4%) damage per attack for 8 seconds. Enemy heroes they attack are marked with the Plundering Debuff for 3 seconds.

The ship additionally crashes upon reaching its maximum distance, dealing an additional burst of 180(+4%) damage and stunning enemies for 1.5 seconds but the ship takes damage equal to 100% of its health. The crash deals 100% more damage to structures.

The Ship's stun has priority over the fear.
Spend Doubloon(D)
Spending Doubloons on Deathly Ram consumes up to a maximum of 4 Doubloons. For every Doubloon spent, recover 25% of the ship's cooldown up to 100%.
2
