D.Va (Rework)

MEKA PILOT

Hana Song, also known as "D.Va," is both a world champion professional gamer and a burgeoning global icon. As a member of South Korea's elite MEKA unit, she fights to protect her homeland from the colossal omnic threat lurking within the East China Sea.

ROLE: TANK

Combat Trait

MECH MODE [PASSIVE]
When D.Va's Mech dies, she is ejected out after 0.75 seconds and can continue to fight.

D.Va's Mech awards 90% of a normal Hero's experience upon dying.
D.Va's Mech awards 0 death count.

PILOT MODE [PASSIVE]
Pilot D.Va can't use any "mount" and any Ability, except Call Mech.
Basic Attacks against Heroes will reduce the cooldown of Call Mech by 0.5 seconds.

As a Pilot, D.Va awards only 10% of a normal Hero's experience upon dying.
D.Va's Pilot mode awards 1 death count.

[D] Call MECH
Call a New Mech and enter Mech Mode. Call Mech is instant and can target a location. Upon landing, the Mech deals 175 damage to enemies in the impact area and stun by 1 second.


Cooldowns:

- When the Mech is Destroyed the Cooldown is half time from team's Respawn time(based on level).
- When the Mech is used to Self-Destruct: 4 Seconds.

[D] Self-Destruct
Eject from the Mech, setting it to self-destruct after 4 seconds. Deals 300 to 800 damage in a large area, depending on distance from center.

Gain 1% Charge for every 2 seconds spent Basic Attacking, and 30% Charge per 100% of Mech Health lost.

Primary Abilities

[Q] Boosters
Increase D.Va's Movement Speed by 100% for 2 seconds. Enemies that are hit take 135 damage and are knocked away.

D.Va cannot be Slowed while Boosters are active, and each enemy can only be hit once per use.

Use [Z] While Boosters is active to instantly mount after Boosters ends. The Mount need be ready(not on cooldown) to work.

[W] DEFENSE MATRIX
Channel a defensive field in the target direction for 3 seconds, reducing the damage dealt by enemy Heroes inside it by 75%. The Mech can move while channeling. Reactivate to select a new target direction. Use in yourself to cancel the Matrix.

Damage dealt to the Mech from enemies within Defense Matrix still grants the same amount of Self-Destruct Charge.

D.Va moves at 85% Movement Speed while the ability is active.

[E] MICRO MISSILES
D.Va fires a barrage of 10 small rockets in a straight line that detonate on impact, dealing 20 damage each in a limited radius around each explosion. D.va can move while firing.

Explosion radius: 2

D.Va moves at 85% Movement Speed while the ability is active.

Cooldown: 12 seconds

Heroic Abilities

[R] Bunny Hop
D.Va's Mech becomes Unstoppable and stomps every 0.5 seconds, dealing 60 damage and Slowing enemies by 30%. Also, Mech gain 75 Shield per enemy Hero hit. Lasts 4 seconds.

D.Va moves at 85% Movement Speed while the ability is active.

Cooldown: 90 Seconds

[R] Ultra Mech
[PASSIVE] When Mech is Destroyed he activates an automatic mini Self-Destruct, setting it to self-destruct after 2 seconds. Deals 150 to 400 damage in a medium area, depending on distance from center.

Area of Effect: 50% from [D] Self-Destruct!

[ACTIVE] Mech gain 50 Armor for 5 Seconds.

Mana Cost: 80
Cooldown: 70 Seconds

Special Mount

D.Va's Mech can mount now, default mode(cast to move at 130).

TALENTS

TIER 1 LEVEL 1

1) [D][Self-Destruct] - Is this easy mode?: Mech's Basic Attack against enemies Heroes gains extra 0.25% Charge per hit.

2) [Q][Boosters] - Hit the Nitrous: Initial speed of Boosters is increased to 325%, then decays to normal boost speed over 0.5 seconds. During this time, Boosters deals 50% extra damage.

3) [Q][Boosters] - Crash Course: Quest: Damage enemy Heroes with Boosters. Reward: After damaging 20 Heroes, each use of Boosters lowers its cooldown by 1 second per Hero hit.

4) [E][Micro Missiles] - Ultra Barrage: Quest: Damage enemy Heroes with Missiles. Reward: After damaging 150 Heroes, add +1 charge.

TIER 2 LEVEL 4

1) [Q][Boosters] - Coming Through: Knockback distance of Boosters is increased by 75%.

2) [W][Defense Matrix] - Diverting Power: The area of Defense Matrix is 100% wider and 25% longer, but D.Va's Movement Speed is reduced by 15% for the duration.

3) [W][Defense Matrix] - Get Through This!: Increase the duration of Defense Matrix by 3 seconds.

4) [W][Defense Matrix] - Fusion Generator: Every time an enemy Hero deals damage while inside Defense Matrix, D.Va's Self-Destruct Charge increases by 1%. Max of 15% Charge gained per use.

TIER 3 LEVEL 7

1) [Q][Micro Missiles] - Massive Missiles: Each missile deals bonus damage to enemies heroes equal 0.5% their maximum Health.

2) [W][Defense Matrix] - Dazer Zone: Enemy Heroes affected by Defense Matrix are Slowed by 20%.

3) [W][Defense Matrix] - Aggression Matrix: Basic Attacks in Mech Mode against Heroes lower the cooldown of Defense Matrix by 0.25 seconds.

4) [PASSIVE] - No problem!: When the Mech is destroyed by damage, deals 150 damage and stun for 1.5 seconds all nearby enemies. Area of Effect: 3 Units.

TIER 4 LEVEL 10

HEROICS!

1) [R][Bunny Hop]

TIER 5 LEVEL 13

1) [Mech Mode] - Expensive Plating: Increase Mech Health by 12%, but also increase the cooldown of Call Mech by 20 seconds.

2) [Mech Mode] - Emergency Shielding: When D.Va's Mech would be destroyed, it instead gains a Shield that absorbs 250 damage over 5 seconds. This effect has a 15 second cooldown.

3) [Mech Mode] - Ablative Armor: Damage against D.Va's Mech that would deal 4% or less of its maximum Health are reduced by 50%.

4) [Mech Mode] - Neotitanium Armor: Enemy team always see D.Va's HP in 100%, but Reveal effect from enemy team will show to enemy team the Current amount Mech's HP.

TIER 6 LEVEL 16

1) [Mech Mode] - Advanced Mech: Reduces Mech' basic abilities's cooldown by 50% each.

2) [D][Self-Destruct] - Nuclear Option: Increase Self Destruct's detonation timer by 50%. Detonation damage increased by 100%.

3) [D][Self-Destruct] - Black Hole: Enemies in the area of effect are pulled toward the bomb by 35% the movement speed.

4) [E][Micro Missiles] - Heavy Barrage: If enemy hero is impacted by all missiles, he will be stunned by 2.5 seconds.

TIER 7 LEVEL 20

1) [R][Bunny Hop] - Crazy Bunny: At activation can Remove some Crowd Control effects from the Mech(Stun, Sleep and Silence), if this happen, reduces the Cooldown by 40 Seconds.

2) [R][Bunny Hop] - Super Stomp: Increase area of effect from Bunny Hop by 100%, in original area of effect each stomp will stun enemy Heroes by 0.10 Seconds per stomp.

3) [R][Ultra Mech] - Kaboom: Now, when Mech is destroyed, he activates a regular Self-Destruct, that's explodes after 4 Seconds. If a enemy Hero is hit by this Self-Destruct and die until 2 seconds later, will reduce the [D][Call Mech]'s Cooldown to 1 Second.

4) [R][Ultra Mech] - Nerf This: The Armor lasts 2 Seconds longer and gain 2 extra Charges.

5) [E][Micro Missiles] - Guided Missiles: Now missiles can be target oriented, focusing the selected target enemy Hero and passing through other units in the way. The cast range is 6 units. Guided Missiles increase the Cooldown by 4 Seconds if used in this mode. Use in (1) Guided Mode! Also increase the [Micro Missiles] base damage by 30% against enemy heroes.

Why does mech give 100% EXP? The fact that MEKA gives 50% EXP right now is one of the reasons D.Va sucks. This rework nerfs her even more by making MEKA substantially easier to kill. MEKA should give 0 EXP and Pilot D.Va should be a full death. That right there would make her viable on its own

I don't really agree that both the mech and the pilot grants full death experience. Essentially, D.Va will be worth 2 hero deaths when she dies which is not fair.

I understand your view, but I made this to don't encourage the D.Va player to "suicide" the pilot to "respaw" in MEKA faster(in early game), "she" will need try reduce the Call Mech cooldown for back in fight. The "pilot" form is weak and your pourpose is only to survive, with low HP like Abathur, and Call the new Mech. All the Power from D.va is in MEKA and if the "pilot" don't has a punish in death, this can be exploitable by the player. Thx for the feedback! I See so much potential in D.Va, but today D.va is underwhelming IMHO.

I will set to MEKA 100% and Pilot 25%(bonus).
