Delia

The Shield of Night

This is a reworked version of Verick and Delia that I previously made

Delia is the daughter of Raena, the Lady of Thorns, and the Dragon Knight, making her Princess of King's Crest. Delia and her brother Verick sealed the Dragon Knight away within a statue in the middle of Dragon Shire, taking up the fight against Queen Nightshade to protect the kingdom from her infestation. When the Raven Lord attacked King's Crest, Verick and Delia combined their powers to awaken the Dragon Knight. However, the Raven Lord was able to possess him and instead defeated the two.

Now robbed of her powers and the singularity that held her realm together, Delia, her brother Verick, and the Raven Court upstart Orphea, work together to forge an alliance that may help them rebuild their ravaged lands.

Delia is a Tank that amplifies her Crowd Control abilities by gaining Moonlight which she acquires by absorbing damage done to her. As a Dual Hero, Delia must be played alongside her brother, Verick.

Combat Trait

Moonlight Fortitude
Casting Abilities grants Delia a 185 Shield for 4 seconds. Every time a Shield on Delia, whether they are from herself or from allies, receives damage, Delia generates Moonlight. Delia generates 1 Moonlight every 40 damage her Shield receives. After 5 seconds of not generating Moonlight, loses 10 Moonlight per second.
Each point of Moonlight increases the duration of all Delia's Disabling Effects by 0.5%.

every time Delia casts an ability (including Heroics and the mini casts of her Q), she gains a self stacking Shield. Shields she gain herself or the ones given to her by allies both contribute to this Trait in generating Moonlight.

Primary Abilities

Q - Shattering Comet
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Mana: 40
Delia quickly leaps into the air and lands in an area, dealing 95 damage and Slowing enemies hit by 20% for 1 second. Reactivate within 3 seconds to swing her ax in a targeted direction 3 times, dealing 75 damage each. On her third swing, she slams it to the ground, Stunning all enemies hit for 0.5 second.

Delia's main CC ability. Provides a modest Slow on her initial cast. The speed is similar to Muradin's Dwarf Toss and the impact radius is similar to Jaina's Blizzard. The range is 6.5. Delia is NOT unstoppable while in the air.
After landing, she can reactivate this ability 3 more times. The first 2 will swing and deal damage in an arc in front of her the size of Leoric's AoE AA. The third swing will she will slam it in front of her and Stun enemies around her. The third swing's area is around Jaina's blizzard radius.
Cooldown does not start until all of the cast has been used.
Each swing of this ability counts as separate ability casts and each swing will trigger her trait

W - Lunar Pull
Cooldown: 14 seconds
Mana: 60
Passive: While near Verick, Delia creates a Tether with him, granting them both a Shield equal to 5% of their maximum Health as long as they are Tethered. Enemies caught within the Tether are Slowed by 15%.
Active: Activate to immediately dash towards Verick using their Tether, dealing 85 damage and Stunning all enemies caught for 1.25 seconds. The Tether will reform after 6 seconds of casting this ability.

The passive component immediately triggers whenever Delia and Verick are within 6.5 range of each other and the width of the Tether is the same as Mei's E.
Enemies within the Tether area are Slowed for 0.5 seconds as long as they are in contact with the Tether area.
The active component causes Delia to dash towards Verick, dealing damage along the way equal to the width of the Tether. Heroes hit are Stunned. The Tether then disappears for 6 seconds after this is cast.

E - Twilight Falls
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Mana: 60
Activate to become Protected for 2 seconds. If Delia prevents at least 350 damage, refunds 40% of this ability's cooldown and Mana cost.

Grants Protected for a few seconds. If it prevents at least a specific amount of damage (this damage requirement scales as usual), this ability's CD and mana are partially refunded.

Heroic Abilities

R1 - Lullaby of the Night
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Mana: 70
Delia commands the moon to shine upon a large area for 2.5 seconds, Slowing enemies by 10% every 0.5 seconds up to 50%. Enemies at the end of Lullaby of the Night are put to Sleep for 2 seconds. When they are awoken, their Spell Armor is reduced by 20 for 2 seconds.

A more of a setup ultimate. The area is around Tyrande's Starfall and the periodic slow duration is also affected by Moonlight. The sleep comes at the END of the area effect (like Mei's Blizzard). The spell armor reduction is a debuff so it's affected by Moonlight.

R2 - Event Horizon
Cooldown: 80 seconds
Mana: 90
Activate to become a dark conduit of the moon for 4 seconds, gaining Unstoppable for the duration. While active, gain an Aura that damages all enemies within for 90 damage per second. Enemy Heroes that come in contact with this have their vision significantly reduced and their damage reduced by 75% for 0.5 seconds. Delia is unable to cast any other abilities or basic attacks while this is active. Can be canceled early.

Radius is around Qhira's Spinny ultimate's maximum size. This is a MOBILE CHANNEL similar to D.va's Bunny Hop. Enemies caught take damage every second. Also, whenever they come in contact with the AoE, they have their vision reduced like Sylvanas's Mind Control Upgrade's effect and their damage is also reduced. Can be canceled early.
The mini duration for the DR and VR benefits from Moonlight and works similar to Stukov's E (it reapplies as long as you're in contact with the AOE)

Level 1

Q - Meteor Shower
The final impact of Shattering Comet rains down 5 Meteors that deal 35 damage in a small area, prioritizing Heroes. Enemy Heroes hit by Meteors refund 8 Mana.

Trait - Full Moon
?Quest: Gather 30 Regeneration Globes
?Reward: Each Regeneration Globe increases Moonlight Fortitude's Shield amount by 5%.

AA - Crescent Harvest
Basic Attacks hit in an arc in front of Delia. Basic Attacks deal 35% bonus damage to Minions and Mercenaries.

Level 4

Q - Healing Comet
Each enemy Heroes hit by Shattering Comet heals Delia for 35% of the damage dealt.

W - Of the Same Steel
While Tethered, Delia gains 10 Spell Armor and each enemy Hero hit by Delia's Basic Abilities increases Verick's Shield by 10% up to 50%.

Active - Moonlit Renewal
Cooldown: 25 seconds
Activate to gain 25 Moonlight.
Delia regenerates 26 Health per second. Increased by 1% for each point of Moonlight.

Level 7

Q - Pale Cascade
The first impact of Shattering Comet explodes 2 more times every 1.5 seconds, dealing 95 damage to all enemies caught.

E - Starlight Siege
Extend the duration of Twilight Fall's Protected by 1 second. Upon expiration, explode around Delia dealing 40% of the damage absorbed, up to a maximum of 300 damage, to enemies around Delia.

E - Enchanted Shield
Upon expiring, Twilight Fall Knocks enemies away, dealing 115 damage and Slowing them by 20% for 1.5 seconds.

Level 13

W - Noir Luna
Enemies affected by Tether have their Attack Speed Slowed by 40% and their Spell Power by 10%.

AA - Undaunted Momentum
Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes reduce Basic Ability cooldowns by 0.5 seconds. Doubled while Shielded.

Passive - Blessing of Selene de Lune
Upon reaching 30% of maximum Health, Delia gains a 350 Shield and her Basic Abilities recharge 100% faster for 5 seconds.

Level 16

Q - Die in Darkness
Enemy Heroes hit by Shattering Comet are marked for 6 seconds. If Verick damages them while marked, they are Silenced for 1 second.

Trait - Lunar Judgement
Moonlight now increases the duration of Delia's Disabling Effects by 0.75% and Delia's Ability damage by 1% per point.

E - Bastille of Hope
Twilight Fall grants Unstoppable for 2 seconds. Upon activation, removes Stuns and Roots from nearby allied Heroes.

Level 20

R1 - Waking Nightmare
Upon being awoken, enemy Heroes are Feared for 1.25 seconds. The Spell Armor reduction is increased to 40.

R2 - Accretion Disc
Upon activation, enemy Heroes are pulled towards Delia. The outer edge of Event Horizon Slows enemies by 50% and deals 75 damage per second.

Active - Moonfall
Cooldown: 70 seconds
Target Verick anywhere on the map to teleport to his location, dealing 350 damage upon landing and Silencing all enemies hit by 1.5 seconds.

Trait - Children of Thorns
Reduce Delia's Death Timer by 50%. If Delia is alive, Verick's Death Timer recharges 125% faster. Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes grant 55 Shield.
