Imperius

Archangel of Valor

Imperius, Archangel of Valor, is an angel of the High Heavens and the de facto ruler of the Angiris Council. He has led the Heavenly Host to numerous victories over the Demonic Legion, but his pride and rashness has often caused recklessness that would ultimately cost him.


Imperius is an offensive bruiser who excels at dealing sustained damage and causing disruction. While he lacks at the self-sustain of most bruisers, he makes up for it with powerful lockdown options and his ability to nulify lots of damage from heavy auto-attackers, like Thrall. Skilled players will know how to tactically use Solarion's positioning to their advantage.

Combat Trait

Heaven Strike

Launch Solarion to the Heavens. It lands at the target location after 0.75 seconds, dealing 156 damage to all nearby enemies and it stays there providing collision. (azmodan Q range)

Passive:While Solarion is on the ground, Imperius' basic attacks fire holy bolts with 100% increased range that slow enemies by 20% for 2 seconds, but deal 15% reduced damage.

Solarion, to me!!!

Mana:20
Replaces Heaven Strike while Solarion is on the ground. Imperius calls Solarion back to his hand, no matter where it is on the map. While Solarion is flying back to Imperius, it deals 159 damage to all enemies it passes through.

Flames of Solarion

While Holding Solarion:
Your next basic attack is instant and unleashes flames that deal splash damage in a large cone. All enemies hit by the cone, are slowed by 60% for 1 second and take 20 damage every 0.2 seconds for the duration of the slow.

While Solarion is on the ground:
Unleash a burst of flames around Sorarion, dealing 200 damage to all enemies hit and causes them to take an additional 120 damage over 3 seconds.

While Holding Solarion:
Surround Imperius with 9 spears,protecting him for the next 5 seconds. Whenever Imperius deals or recieves physical damage, a spear is consumed:
-When recieving physical damage, the consumed spear will provide Imperius with 50 physical armor against that instance of damage
-When dealing physical damage, the consumed spear will dive in with the attack, dealing an additional 51 ability damage to the target.
While Solarion is on the ground:
After 0.5 seconds, summon 9 unpathable spears that form a ring around Solarion.
Lasts 1.5 seconds.

Can't be canceled.

Valorous Charge
Cooldown:8 seconds
Mana:50
Charge to the target enemy unit within up to 5.5 range, dealing them 25 impact damage and an additional 75 damage over 3 seconds. After casting Valorous charge, Imperius gains 20% increased move speed for 2 seconds. Valorous charge deals 400% increased impact damage when used on targets at the 1 further range.

!Quest:Obtain the Quest reward of your level 1 talent.
!Reward:Valorous Charge now applies Heaven's Mark to the target enemy for 3 seconds. Whenever the marked enemy recieves damage they are dealt an additional 15 ability damage.

Heroic Abilities

Wings of Valor
Cooldown:80 seconds

Can only be used while Solarion is on the ground.

After 1.5 seconds, Imperius opens his wings and rushes to Solarion, wherever it is on the map. While flying to Solarion, Imperius deals 99 damage to all enemies he flies through and stuns them for 1 second. Once he reaches Solarion,he grabs it and flails it upward unleashing a thin shockwave forward that deals 225 damage to all enemies hit and silences them for 1.25 seconds.

Passive:Increase the cast range of Heaven Strike to global.

Solarion's Wrath
Cooldown:70 seconds
Mana:100
Can only be used while holding Solarion.

After 0.5 seconds, launch Solarion forward, dealing 110 damage and blinding enemies scratched by the sides of the skillshot for 2.25 seconds. Solarion will impale the first enemy hero hit directly by it, dealing 280 damage and stunning for 1 second. Solarion will remain stuck on the impaled for up to 7 seconds, revealing them and using them as a point of refrence when casting Flames of Solarion or Phalanx. If Imperius uses Solarion, to me!!! during this time, the impaled hero will be pulled along side with Solarion and dropped next to Imperius. If the 7 seconds pass without Imperius pulling the impaled hero, Solarion will fall on the ground next to them. If Solarion's Wrath fails to hit a hero directly, Solarion will fall on the groud at the end of the range.

LEVEL 1 TALENTS


Guardian Angel(E):Valorous charge can be cast on allies without damaging them. Doing so provides them with two Phalanx spears.
!Quest:Have your allies spend 40 Phalanx spears.
!Reward:Valorous charge can be cast a second time for free within 2 seconds, on a unit from the opposite team that the first. Also gain Varorous Charge's baseline Quest reward.



Ever-present(E):Increase the range of Valorous charge by 50%.
!Quest:Each time Valorous charge is used on an enemy hero at further range, further increase Valorous charge's range by 5%, up to an additional 50%.
!Reward:After hitting 10 enemy heroes at further range, increase the range of Valorous Charge by an additional 50%. Also gain Valorous Charges's baseline Quest Reward.


Lingering Burden(E):Reduce the mana cost of Valorous Charge by 10.Also Imperius gains 1% increased attack speed for every 1% increased move speed that he has when over 100% move speed.
!Quest:Hit enemy heroes with 30 basic attacks
!Reward:After hitting enemy heroes 30 times, Imperius' basic attacks reduce the cooldown of Valorous Charge by 0.8 seconds. Also gain Valorous Charges's baseline Quest Reward.

LEVEL 4 TALENTS


Lone Wolf(Active):Cooldown:30 seconds
Activate to gain 15 armor and 15% increased move speed for 5 seconds, but also push away all nearby aliies. Lone Wolf's move speed increase stacks with other move speed bonuses.


Prideful Valor(W):Phalanx spears heal the unit that they surround for 50% of the damage that they deal or prevent. Also reduce the cooldown of Phalanx by 4 seconds.


Reckless Pursuit(E): While, charging at an enemy with Valorous charge gain 40 armor and generate 30 shields every 0.1 seconds.

LEVEL 7 TALENTS


Punishment(Q/W):Flames of Solarion and Phalanx deal 30% bonus damage to enemies that are slowed. Additionally, Phalanx spears slow enemies that they damage by 30% for 1.5 seconds.


Heavenly Fire(E): Increases the 'further range' size of Valorous Charge by 150%. Also after using valorous charge, a ring of heavenly fire lights around the 'further range' area, which lasts 3 seconds and deals 60 damage per second to all enemies inside the ring and slows them by 20%.Deals 100% increased damage and has 100% increased slow amount to enemies standing directly on the ring.


My old enemy...(Passive):Imperius' basic attacks against an enemy hero reduce that hero's physical armor by 5 for 3.5 seconds, up to 20. Only 1 enemy hero can have this armor debuff at a time.

LEVEL 10 TALENTS

LEVEL 13 TALENTS


Spreading Fire(Q/E):If flames of Solarion damages an enemy affected by the Heaven's Mark applied by Valorous charge, it will refresh the marks duration and apply it to all all enemies hit by Flames of Solarion.


Silence!!!(Active):Cooldown:15 seconds
Activate to silence the arget enemy for 1.5 seconds and make them take 1 damage every 0.1 seconds for the duration.


Reforge(Trait):For every enemy hero hit by Heaven strike and Solarion, to me!!! reduce the cooldown of Imperius' basic abilities by 1.25 seconds.

LEVEL 16 TALENTS


Polished Blade(Trait): Heaven strike and Solarion, to me!!! deal 25% more damage and stun enemies for 0.5 seconds.


Filthy Mortals(W):Enemies trapped in the Spear ring created by Phalanx have their armor reduced by 15 for 5 seconds.


Superiority(Passive):Your basic attacks deals 1% increased damage for every 2.5% difference between Imperius' move speed and the target's move speed.

LEVEL 20 TALENTS


Heaven's Bombardment(Heroic): Wings of Valor can now used while holding Solarion to instead immediately unleash the thin silencing shockwave without flying first. Doing so lowers the cooldown of Wings of Valor by 72 seconds and refunds 60 mana.


Tethered by guilt(Heroic):Increases the range of Solarion's Wrath by 35%, the stun duraion to 2.25 seconds and the impale damage by 20%. Also if Heaven Strike, directly hits an enemy hero, Solarion will be stuck on them for 7 seconds.


Mortalize(Passive):Basic attacks with Solarion deals 10% more damage and basic attacks without Solarion gain an additional 2 range. Also all of your basic attacks refresh the duration of all damage over time effects that the target expiriences.

Holy Weapon(Trait):Reduce the cooldown of Heaven Strike and Solarion, to me!!! by 3.75 seconds.


Blinding Flash(Active):Cooldown:8 seconds
Activate to deal 67 physical damage to all nearby enemies, blinding for 1.5 seconds, also healing nearby allies for 150 health.
