Lord of Hatred

Mephisto, one of the Prime Evil's of Hell, truly is Hate Incarnate. His name alone strikes fear into the hearts of the Men in Sanctuary, and will do so also in the Nexus, where his Hate of all things will be known...



Health: 1,486 (+4%)| Regen: 3.1 (+4%)
Mana: 500 (+10)| Regen: 3 (+9.8)
Attack Speed: 1.20 per second | Attack Damage: 37 (+4%) | Attack Range: 5.0

Combat Trait

Malevolence (Trait)
Passive: Damaging an enemy with a Basic or Heroic ability grants a stack of Malevolence, up to 5. Each stack increases the damage of Mephisto's abilities by 10%. Can only gain 1 stack per ability cast. Lasts 8 seconds.

Primary Abilities

Jolt (Q)
Mana: 75 Mana.
Cooldown: 8 seconds.

Fire lightning in a small cone, dealing 140 (+4% per level) damage. If at 5 stacks of Malevolence, this ability will also Stun all enemies hit for 1.25 seconds.

Hate's Curse (W)
Mana: 60 Mana.
Cooldown: 10 seconds.

Deal 130 (+4% per level) damage and Slow all enemies that you dealt damage to in the last 5 seconds by 10% for each stack of Malevolence you have, decaying over 1.5 seconds.

Seeking Skull (E)
Mana: 50 Mana.
Cooldown: 6 seconds.

Send out a slow moving skull that seeks the closest Hero, over any distance, dealing 80 (+4% per level) damage and revealing the Hero hit for 2 seconds. The damage is nullified if the skull is out of your initial vision radius.

(Added by Level 1 Talent: Abhorrence)

Cooldown: 20 seconds

Activate to reset the cooldown of the last Basic Ability you cast, but reduce the damage of its next cast by 20%.

Heroic Abilities

Hatred (R)
Mana: 100 Mana.
Cooldown: 70 seconds.

After 0.5 seconds, deal 220 (+4% per level) damage to the Hero that has dealt the most damage to you in the last 5 seconds.

Malediction (R)
Mana: 40 Mana.
Cooldown: 30 seconds.

Activate to consume all current stacks of Malevolence to make Mephisto's next ability deal bonus damage equal to 4% of the first Hero hits Maximum Health per stack.

Talents

Level 1:


- Unlimited Power (Q):

Collecting a Regeneration Globe grants a stack of Malevolence.
(?) Quest: Collect 20 Regeneration Globes.
(?) Reward: Jolt's active cooldown is decreased by 0.5 seconds per enemy Hero it hits.
- Drain (W): When cast, Hate's Curse's active cooldown is reduced by 1 second for each stack of Malevolence Mephisto has.


- Abhorrence (Active):

Activate to reset the cooldown of the last Basic Ability you cast, but reduce the damage of its next cast by 20%.

Level 4:


- Conduit (Q):
(?) Quest: Stun 5 enemy Heroes with Jolt. Progress is lost on death, or when Mephisto fails to hit an enemy with Jolt.
(?) Reward: Permanently increases Jolt's damage by 40, and decreases the Malevolence stacks needed to Stun by 1.
- Hell Freezes Over (W):
(?) Quest: Dealing damage to Heroes with Hate's Curse increases the slow time by 0.05 seconds, up to 0.75 seconds.
(?) Reward: After damaging 15 Heroes, whilst at 5 stacks of Malevolence, Hate's Curse instead Roots the target.


- Deathly Cold (E):

Damaging an enemy with Seeking Skull resets the Slow timer on Hate's Curse, and increases the Slow amount by 15%.

Level 7:


- Surge Charge (Q): Hitting an enemy Hero with Jolt grants a shield equal to 5% of Mephisto's Maximum Health for each stack of Malevolence he has.
- Crushed Spirit (W): Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes affected by Hate's Curse restore 5% of Mephisto's missing Mana per attack.
- Seethe (Trait): Mephisto's Mana regeneration is increased by 10% for each stack of Malevolence he has.

Level 10:


- Hatred (R): After 0.5 seconds, deal 240 (+4% per level) damage to the Hero that has dealt the most damage to you in the last 5 seconds.
- Malediction (R):
Activate to consume all current stacks of Malevolence to make Mephisto's next ability deal bonus damage equal to 4% of the first Hero hits Maximum Health per stack.

Level 13:


- Visible Fear (E): Seeking Skull's damage is no longer increased by Malevolence, but instead reveals the Hero hit for 2 seconds longer per stack.
- Headshot (E): Seeking Skull does bonus damage equal to 10% of the Hero's remaining Mana. This damage is not affected by Malevolence.
- Channel Enmity (Trait): Activate your Trait to consume all stacks of Malevolence, to gain 10 Spell Armor per stack of Malevolence consumed for 5 seconds.

Level 16:


- Storm (Q): Hitting an enemy Hero with Jolt triggers a bolt of lightning to bounce to 3 nearby enemies, dealing 124 (+4% per level) damage.
- Anamnesis (W): Increase the time able to deal damage with Hate's Curse by 3 seconds.
- Hate Knows No Bounds (E): Seeking Skull's damage is no longer nullified if out of Mephisto's intial vision.

Level 20:


- Loathe (R): After taking no damage for 5 seconds, Hatred becomes targetable. Hatred's cooldown is reduced by 50% when used this way.
- Eternal Damnation (R):
(?) Quest: Consume 50 stacks of Malevolence by using Malediction, including ones already consumed.
(?) Reward: Malediction's cooldown is reduced by 100%.
- Dead Rising (E): Seeking Skull now sends a skull to each enemy Hero, but its cooldown is increased by 8 seconds.
- Lord of Hatred (Passive): Malevolence stacks last for twice as long.
