Neptulon: 2!

Hydraulic Boogaloo

This is my second attempt at making a concept for Neptulon, who was my first concept submited to HeroesFire. This version will attempt to fit the same role of the original concept, a bulky Support focused around displacement and lockdown prevention with some mobility to boot, but with a different approach to how it's done. My hope is to have this version be a bit more balanced and more thematically appropriate to the character.

Notable differences from previous concept:
* Melee Attacker, attack speed and damage slightly higher.
* More focused on being in the heat of battle, rather than poking enemies from afar while relying on abilities and allies to keep enemies at a distance.
* Trait no longer acts as a rarely used ability and more as a constantly active component of how Neptulon interacts with his team.

Combat Trait

1
Pure Water
Whenever an ally is effected by, or enters the area effected by, one of Neptulon's abilities, they become Cleansed of CC, Poison or Debuffs. This effect has a 10 second cooldown for each individual hero, indicated by a marker surrounding their feet whenever they are within range of Neptulon.

* Indicator only visible to Player and Neptulon.

Primary Abilities

Surging Tide
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Mana Cost: 50

Summon a wave beneath you and ride it toward a target (pathable) location. Enemies caught by the wave are carried by the wave, taking 67 damage per second. Become Unstoppable as soon as the wave starts moving.

Ability can be canceled early while above pathable terrain.

Whirlpool
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Mana Cost: 40

Summon a brief torrent of water around you. Enemies caught by the torrent take ? damage and are carried counterclockwise to the opposite side of you over 0.75 seconds. Cannont move while channeling.

Bubble Shield
Cooldown: 9 Seconds
Mana Cost: 30

Grant an ally 25 Spell Armor for 4 seconds. Enemies that come in contact with a bubbled hero will be bounced back, taking 60 damage.

Heroic Abilities

Tidal Surge
Cooldown: 80 seconds
Mana Cost: 70

Send out a large wave that applies Tidal Surge to all nearby allies for 10 seconds. Allies effected have any buffs or healing increased by 25% of the its value.

Abyssal Maw
Cooldown: 100 seconds
Mana Cost: 80

Neptulon sinks down, transforming into a large pool over the span of 1.5 seconds. The pool then begins to shrink, pulling enemies toward it's center over the course of 4 seconds. Enemies that contact the center are pulled down, entering Stasis. At the end of the channel, the center erupts, dealing 165 damage to trapped enemies and launching them away.

* Targets are launched in the direction they entered from.
* Cosmetically, the eruption of water is shaped like Neptulon doing his classic Hearthstone pose. Because of course it would.

Level 1

Tidehunter's Grasp [Q]
Quest: Hit Heroes with Surging Tide.
Reward: After capturing 5 Heroes, increase damage per second by 30.
Reward: After capturing 15 Heroes, apply a 40% slow to enemies caught for 2.5 seconds after dropping.
Reward: After capturing 3 Heroes in a single cast, Surging Tide now travels and deals damage 20% faster, and gains all other rewards instantly.

Force of Nature [Active]
Quest: Gathering Regeneration globes increases Health Regeneration by 1 per second, up to 30.
Reward: After gathering 30 Regeneration Globes, Force of Nature will allow you to cast an ability free of mana cost every 30 seconds. This ability can be toggled on and off.

Fluid Form [Passive]
Every 10 seconds, gain 50 armor against the next Heroic Basic Attack and subsequent Basic Attacks for 1.5 seconds. Stores up to 2 charges.

Level 4

Frozen Touch [Active]
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Activate to cause your next Basic Attack to deal an additional 140 damage and slow the target by 30% for 3 seconds.

Tidal Momentum [D]
Basic Attacks against Heroes reduce the cooldown of Pure Water on nearby Allies and yourself by 0.5 seconds.

Flash Flood [W]
Every Hero, Allied or Enemy, hit by or Cleansed by Whirlpool lowers it's cooldown by 1 second.

Level 7

Wave Crash [Q]
When Surging Tide ends or is canceled the wave comes crashing down. Enemies hit by the wave take 130 damage and are Stunned for for 1 second.

Invigorating Tide [Q]
Each enemy Hero captured will Heal Neptulon for 110 Hp at the end of Surging Tide. Heal takes place over 5 seconds.

Rejuvenating Waters [E]
Bubble Shield Heals for 70 Hp per second.

Level 10

Level 13

Bubble Burst [E]
When Bubble Shield ends, it deals ? damage and knockback to nearby enemies.

Waterlogged [W]
When Whirlpool hits at least 1 enemy Hero, it leaves a damage aura around Neptulon that deals 23 damage per second and prevents enemies from using movement abilities. Lasts 3 seconds.

Vortex [W]
Neptulon sinks down while channeling Whirlpool, entering Stasis. Increases the size of Whirlpool by 20%.

Level 16

Undertow [Q]
Surging Tide leaves a stream of water in it's wake for 3 seconds. Stream deals 15 damage per second and passively pushes enemies in the direction of the flow.

Surface Tension [E]
If target loses at least 20% of their Total Hp while bubbled, Spell Shield is increased to 50 and the duration is refreshed by 1 second. This effect can only happen once per cast.

Effortless Flow [D]
Pure Water grants 1 second of Unstoppable.

Level 20

Blessing's of the Sea [R1]
Increase bonuses by 50% of their value. Each Allied Hero that survives the whole duration of Tidal Surge refunds 10 Mana and lowers it's cooldown by 5 seconds.

Water Spout [R2]
Launched enemies are Revealed and Slowed by 60% decaying over 3 seconds.

Oceanlord's Command [D]
Pure Water can now be activated to Cleanse all Nearby Allies, but will disable Pure Water's passive recharge while on cooldown. Cooldown is 20 seconds.

Rockpool Acolyte [Active]
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Summon a Murlock Shaman at a target loction. After a 5 second Channel, the Shaman will cast a 150 Hp (+4%) AoE Heal over a large area that also removes Stat debuffs from allies. Mulock Shaman will perform this action 3 times, or until he is killed or times out after 25 seconds. Ability can be reactivated to have the Shaman run to a new location, but he will be unable to channel while moving.
