Combat Trait

1
Purifying Waters
Cooldown: 60 Seconds

Activate to cleanse all nearby allies of Stuns, Roots, Slows, Sleeps, and Damage Over Time effects. Hitting enemy heroes with Neptulons abilities will reduce the cooldown by 10 seconds, once per ability cast.

Primary Abilities

1
Surging Tide
Cooldown: 12 Seconds; Starts when the ability ends.
Mana Cost: 60

Summon a stream of water that starts at a target location and travels in the target direction over 2 seconds. The current continues to flow over this area for the next 6 seconds, passively pushing enemy units and heroes in that direction (imagine Volskya Foundry conveyer belts, only slightly less) while dealing 12 damage per second. Allies are uneffected by the current.

Ability can be canceled after reaching full length. Doing so will lower the cooldown by the remaining duration.
2
Undertow
Cooldown: 16 Seconds
Mana Cost: 60

After a 0.75 second casting animation, Neptulon will sink into a puddle, entering stasis, and travel in a targeted direction before re-emerging. The first enemy hero Neptulon passes under will be sucked down into the "puddle" with him, also entering stasis, and will emerge in front of Neptulon when he surfaces. This ability can be cancelled early.
3
Ice Shield
Cooldown: 10 Seconds
Mana Cost: 40

Place a sheild on an ally that absorbs 450 damage over 4 seconds. If the shield breaks, the ally will emit an explosion that deals 150 damage and slows enemies by 20% for 3 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

1
Water Spout
Cooldown: 90 Seconds
Mana Cost: 100

Summon a swirling pool of water in an area for 4 seconds that slows enemies by 40%. After the 4 seconds, the pool erupts in a cascade of water, dealing 220 damage and launching enemies a significant distance away from the center.
2
Iceberg
Cooldown: 30 Seconds
Mana Cost: 50
HP: 1100 (+4%)

Neptulon summons a large chunk of ice in front of him over 1 second before sending it sliding across the battlefield. The Ice Block will bounce off of unpathable terrain, knocking opponents out of the way, dealing 90 damage and slowing them by 20% for 2 seconds. Can only hit an enemy once per bounce and loses 4 percent of it's total health every time it hits terrain. Can be targeted and destroyed by enemies and will pass through allies.

I really like this concept, because it's something specialness HotS doesn't have a displacement based support yet

Actually, a lot of the supports have some level of Dispacement, but it's usually more for Peeling. I'm actually a little worried that I overdid it with having so many displacement abilities on a single character, as it may make them broken it team fights (you know, HotS whole selling point).

In my opinion you didnt make it overpowered, because his displacement isnt point and click and so, gets countered by mobile heroes.Maybe his W is a bit strong though, because he can simply run into the enemy team,W out of it and even set up a kill, so maybe the range should get decreased, if he takes an enemy hero with him. That would allow some counterplay to the ability, but I think it should be your decision. The fact that many supports isnt something new to me, i just wantes to say that your idea is good, because Neptulon has a special purpose like that. By the way would you consider participating in a small community based champion design contest. If yes go to the HotS forums and search for CDC, there you will see the fifth CDC in june this year as thread.Id love to see a good concept by you and maybe, depending on the category, even rating this neptulon concept.

Just to clarify, Purifying Waters' range is not very far, about as far as Brightwing's Soothing Mist at most.

In terms of Feedback: Should Surging Tide be allowed to flow through impassable terrain?

I think his Q sould be allowed to do that, because it would really suck if you cast it in a team fight and then it gets canceled due to a little edge in the way of the ability.

Not quite what I meant, I thought of having it act like a stream, where if part of it hits terrain it will cut off there but the parts of it that don't will keep moving. But in retrospect I think you're right, that could really limit it's uses in tight area's where team fights usually occur, plus adding such a dynamic to it's pathing could be taxing on the game's engine.

Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't sure at first, considering it was originally intended as a Ranged Warrior, but I've come to like the concept.
