The Payload

Automated Powerhouse

Years of being reliant on other heroes to function, The Payload has finally became self-aware to work on its own. This time, it will be the one who escorts other heroes for a while (and abandon them at place).

Combat Trait

Escort
Each allied hero that stays near you will be healed by 2% of their maximum health per second and increases your movement speed by 10% as long as they stay near you.

*All movement speed from The Payload to allied heroes are stackable.

Primary Abilities

Dragon Blast
Fire a single blast at the target location which deals 160 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies in the target area. Deals 50% more damage to structures.

Charges: 3
Mana: 40
Charge cooldown: 9 seconds

*Holds 3 charges.
*Charges are restored one by one everytime the cooldown is reset.

Control
Open a control area in the target location. Allied heroes who stay in the area for 3 seconds will capture the area and gain a shield based on 30% of their maximum health for 5 seconds. The area lasts 6 seconds.

Mana: 45
Cooldown: 13 seconds

*Enemy heroes can contest the area but cannot capture it.

Escort boost
Activate to gain 10% bonus movement speed. Allied heroes that stay near you also gain 10% movement speed. The movement speed bonus increases per each allied hero near you up to 50%. Lasts 4 seconds.

Mana: 30
Cooldown: 12 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

Assault
Open an impassable area at the target location which shrinks overtime. Enemy heroes must capture it within 3 seconds to escape it. However, if the caught enemy heroes fail to capture the area, they will take 410 (+4% per level) damage and will be stunned for 3 seconds. The area lasts 10 seconds and can be contested by allied heroes

Mana: 80
Cooldown: 70 seconds

*Allied heroes can contest the area but cannot capture it.

Capture the Flag
Spawn a flag at the target location which can be picked up by either allies or enemy heroes. For allies: If they bring the flag to the core within the duration, they will be healed by 500 (+4% per level) health. For enemies: If they bring the flag to their core within the duration, nothing happens. However, if they fail to bring the flag to their core, they will take 260 (+4% per level) damage. The flag lasts 10 seconds.

Mana: 100
Cooldown: 100 seconds

*Movement abilities (Hearthstone excluded) causes the flag to drop.
*The flag's duration is reset everytime it is picked up or dropped by either team.
*If the flag isn't picked by either team, both teams will be stunned for 5 seconds (Does not work on Unstoppable heroes).
*The flag cannot be picked up by The Payload from either team.
*If the current possessor of the flag dies, the flag will be dropped.

Special Mount

Turbo Burst
The Payload passively moves 25% slower than other heroes. But instead of mounting, it can gain an immediate 100% movement speed that decays over 4 seconds and gain free movement for the duration.

Cooldown: 30 seconds

*Turbo Burst is always active in hall of storms.

Talents level 1:

Wyvern Breath (Q):
Dragon Blast slows all enemies hit by 25% for 3 seconds.
Escort Shield (Trait):
Each allied hero staying near you, grants them a shield based on 10% of their maximum health that lasts until they leave.
Concentration Control (W):
Increase the duration of Control by 3 seconds.

Talents level 4:

Iron Gravity (Trait):
Nearby allied heroes will be slowly pulled towards you and gain 20% movement speed.
Turbo Phase (Z):
Increase the duration of Turbo Boost by 2 seconds. Each allied hero staying near you causes Turbo Boost to be recharged 10% faster.
Health Pack Boost (E):
Escort Boost now also heals nearby allies by 110 health per second. Each allied hero nearby increases the healing by 10%.

Talents level 7:

Time Blast (Q):
Each enemy hero hit by Dragon Blast reduces the cooldowns of Control and Escort Boost by 3 seconds.
System Overheat (Passive):
Deal 130 damage per second to nearby enemies. The damage is increased by 10% per each allied hero nearby.
Photon Boost (E):
Escort Boost grants a shield to nearby allied heroes based on 20% of their maximum health that lasts until it's destroyed.

Talents level 13:

Time Pack (Trait):
Escort recharges your basic abilities 5% faster per each allied hero staying near you.

Benefits from Time Blast talent.

Blaster (Q):
Increase Dragon Blast charges by 1. But also increases the cooldown of each charge by 1 second.
Easy Control (W):
Increase the radius of Control by 30% and reduce its cooldown by 2 seconds.

Talents level 16:

Mind Control (W):
Successfully capturing Control area grants all allied heroes 10% Spell Power. Can gain up to 50% Spell Power at time. The Spell Power gained from Control is lost upon dying.
Breaking out of Control (W):
Enemy heroes who contested Control area will lose 15 Armor and are slowed by 40% for 3 seconds.
Wind Jets (Z):
Increase the bonus movement speed gained from Turbo Boost by 20%. Upon activating Turbo Boost, all nearby enemies are knocked back and stunned for 0.75 seconds.

Talents level 20:

Objection Objective (Heroic R):
Reduce the duration of Assault by 5 seconds. Enemy heroes who failed to capture the area, will lose an additional 25% of their maximum health and are revealed to your team for 4 seconds.
Secured Flag (Heroic R):
The own team is no longer stunned if Capture the Flag duration ends, The own team will also receive the benefits even if the enemy team takes the flag to their core. The cooldown ofCapture the Flag is also reduced by 40 seconds.
Self Escort (Trait):
Permanently gain 25% movement speed and increase Escort's percentage healing to 5% per second.
Quoted:
The movement speed stacks with the movement speed gained from Escort.

Dragon's Might (Q):
Each charge of Dragon Blast now fires 3 shots at once. Also all of Dragon Blast's charges are now replenished at once.
