Position: Community Manager (HeroesFire)
Type: Part Time, Contract, Remote Work

The HeroesFire team is looking for a top-notch Community Manager to help HeroesFire grow and keep it an awesome place to be. This position offers you the freedom to work from the comfort of your own home while influencing the direction of one of the biggest gaming networks in the world!


The Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for a Community Manager that eats sleeps and breathes Heroes of the Storm. They are so pumped about this game they want to shout it from the rooftops! They are self motivated, and their brain is bursting with ideas for how to make HeroesFire the best and most useful site for Heroes of the Storm fans. They are a nurturing influence in the community and care about every site member no matter how big or small, noob or pro, and welcome them with open arms.


What You’ll Do:
  • Keep the site database and news feed up to date
  • Site support via forums, email, and social media
  • Manage moderation team and keep HeroesFire a fun and friendly place to be
  • Design and host community events
  • Manage and grow HeroesFire social media channels

Requirements:
  • Always cool under pressure, and always communicates in a friendly and upbeat manner
  • Solid writing skills. Know the difference between “there” and “their.”
  • Be readily available for online communication during reasonable hours
  • Basic knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Discord and Reddit, can make posts appropriate to each platform and manage HeroesFire channels

Pluses:
  • Good In-game rating
  • Follow Heroes of the Storm professional scene
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and basic design skills
  • BBCoder extraordinaire, or knowledge of HTML / CSS
  • Multi-lingual
