Zeratul is an extremely mobile, high skillcap assassin. He has a lot of potential to outplay his opponents and has very high damage, but he requires practice and misplaying on him will likely produce very bad results. Zeratul is not a champion that you can master very easily or in a short amount of time. In my opinion he is the most complicated champion in the game with the highest skill cap. -Less useful against tanky opponents

In team fights you want to assassinate the enemy carries. You don't want to be the initiator, you wait patiently. Be observant and pay attention to what spells the enemies use. You want to wait until they use their crowd control abilities so they can't lock you down. Once the enemy team has used their main crowd control abilities you can use your ultimate on one of the carries that's out of position.A lot of the time you're not doing very much at the start of a team fight - that's okay. You're simply waiting for people to get low on health and to use their abilities. That's when you go in and clean up the fight. Be patient and observant.
