Want to be able to 1v3, get a kill and flee with hardly a scratch? If yes, then Anub'arakAbub'Arak is the quite possibly the best choice for you. With high damage, CC and ability to tank, you will have no trouble fitting into any team composition and make a huge difference. One of the greatest feasts of this build is his siege damage capabilities which allow you to take down towers and forts efficiently to get that level lead for your team.

Pros of this build:
* You will rarely die with how tanky you are and your escape capabilities.
* Good mobility.
* Able to juke under walls to mount and flee.
* AoE cleave that kills creep waves and bruiser mercs quickly.
* Beetles that will soak turret damage - Also allows for solo backdoor of low HP structures.
* Large character size to body block with.
* Passive ranged auto attack every 3 seconds at level 20.

Cons for this build:
* Beetles don't do much other than soak damage.
* Beetles sometimes knock heroes off mounts if passing by.
* Shield is only useful to spawn beetles.
* Large body size sometimes gets you body blocked or hit by skill shot abilities.
* Has difficulty killing tanks without Locust SwarmLocust Swarm.
* You can't tunnel the water in Blackheart's Bay

Bug Spam Anub Notes:
Spam abilities as quickly as possible to keep bugs up under tower. They will soak damage. At level 20, rewind will allow you to get 3 more bugs out quickly to finish off a tower or escape when they come for you.

Talents: Tier 1 Breakdown Top

Extended Spikes: This is my go-to talent because of it's chase and team fight capabilities. Along with Tier 3 Bed of Barbs, it also creates a larger area of damage.

Persistent Carapace: This ability is extremely worthless. Your shield will break faster than the 3 seconds it's up for.

Assault Scarab: This ability doesn't do any good for this type of Anub'arakAnub.

Regeneration Master: Good if you're playing against a very tanky team for 'lane phase.' Otherwise, it is not as useful in fighting enemy heroes.

Talents: Tier 2 Breakdown Top

Underking: O.K. Talent, but very weak compared to Locust Needles. Good for squishy team chasing.

Superiority: You wont be getting hit by much other than heroes due to Anub's passive bugs. This may be an option if you want to push with no creep.

Locust Needles: By far the best talent for this tier. AoE auto attacks allow for quick wipes of creep, bruiser mercs and cluster team fights. It is usually best to focus the largest amount of enemies than the most powerful for max DPS.

Legion of Beetles: Very weak, even for bug spam Anub. 8 seconds is a very long time for a single beetle, though can be useful is solo pushing without minions.

Talents: Tier 3 Breakdown Top

Shed Exoskeleton: Too short of a boost to be worth it. You already have a lot of mobility as Anub.

Urtricing spines: Very weak and low damage compared to Bed of Barbs.

Leeching Scarabs: Only useful for bug spam anub. Your beetles will be too weak to consider this talent.

Bed of Barbs: Best talent in this tier. Along with Extended Spikes, it creates a large area of AoE damage every second for 3.5 seconds and slows all targets that are touching it.

Mercenary Lord: Up time on this is too low compared to the total usage of other talents in this tier.

Talents: Tier 4 Breakdown Top

This tier is your ultimate ability. There is no reason to take Web Blast unless they have a lot of tanks that can destroy your squishier team mates easily.

Locust Swarm is what allows you to sometimes 1v3 or flat out dive to initiate a team fight. It's also very useful for destroying structures (Preferably towers + gate for max damage.)

Talents: Tier 5 Breakdown Top

Burning Rage: Great extra AoE damage on top of your Locust Needles to wipe out creep waves and bruiser mercs quickly.

Chitinous Plating: 40% is still very low, especially if you're not choosing extra talents for Hardened carapace.

Symbiotic Armor: Only useful to bug spam Anub.

Spell Shield: Good talent if you're behind in levels. The drawback is that it can proc off weak ability damage and be wasted for the next 30 seconds.

Talents: Tier 6 Breakdown Top

Epicenter: Good for burst against squishy teams. Otherwise not very useful compared to other talents.

Beetle, Juiced: Only useful for bug spam Anub.

Imposing Presence: The best ability Anub has for survival. I do not recommend this talent if the enemy team does not have a ranged assassin, Zeratul or Illadin.

Blood for Blood: Best general use talent of this tier. 15% of an enemy heroes max health is a lot and the slow allows you to stick to your target.

Talents: Tier 7 Breakdown Top

Hive Master: Is my favorite thing about Anub. Having a passive auto attack every 3 seconds gets me kills on fleeing targets. All you need to do is stay in range (Quite a big range, surprisingly) while following your target until you can Q or E again. Also can keep heroes chasing your from mounting sooner.

Cryptweave: About the most worthless talent Anub has. Having to channel the web makes it useless in team fights. Only decent in the rare situation that you are in a 1v1 and are waiting for help.

Hardened Shield: Great for team fights if the enemy team has high damage and doesn't focus your team's damage dealers. Use when focused and less than 90% health in conjunction with Locust Swarm for best effect.

Rewind: Very helpful tool for chasing, killing and escaping. Used well and you can knock up the majority of an enemy team 4 times in quick succession. I usually take this talent if the enemy team has a lot of squishy heroes or we are behind in levels.
