Threat Hero Notes
1
Abathur Find him and kill him. Easier said than done tho right?
1
The Lost Vikings Search and Destroy!
2
Sylvanas As long as you beat her to the punch she's practically dead.
3
Kael'thas Depending on how he builds, it is very possible for him to take you out with him. Assuming u guys are both in range for one another so make sure you got the distance to pick him off with orbital strike if anything
4
Chromie She has superior range and burst in comparison to you but if you catch her she's pretty much dusted so try to get close and instagib her
5
Falstad This really comes down to play. I really feel like this is even. If you miss your snipe then your probably fucked. You know what they say, beat them to the punch.
6
Raynor Not someone you can just go toe to toe and trade with at least early. Just w q and wither him down. This however applies to everyone you go against anyways. He's similar to the higher threat enemies i posted but he's not as mobile. His chase potential even with his w movespeed buff is a mediocre threat at best.
7
Tassadar reveals you
8
Tracer chases you and can just rewind if you are winning the trade
8
Lunara Her DOT alone just makes it impossible for you to cloak and get away. If she lands her slow on you i suggest you just duke it out.
9
Illidan chases you and has evasion
9
Zeratul stealth like you but can just q u when i he gets close and just blink if anything
9
Sonya If she leaps or lands her spear, you're pretty much done for in a 1 on 1 situation. He will just whirlwind you to death most likely anyways. If you know this to be the case then just nuke him down as much as u can and just stutter step and shoot. Go to shadows and outplay with decoy if you can
9
Tychus Similar to illidan, falstad, zeratul, etc. Basically anyone with high mobility to chase you down are a huge disadvantage if you mess up with your skillshots or get caught out of position.

About Me Top

Now in Plat 5, ranked up from gold 1
Record with Nova so far : 12-1 to now 18-4
Overall Record : 35-22

Ask me anything or argue that my build is nonsense if you'd like. I'm open to criticism if there is rational and logical reasons that can't be contested, specifically with math if you gotta prove something (I know so ****ING ASIAN of me) There are more than one answers to questions but there's only one right answer for math. Feel free to add me if you wanna que and see how I perform with my build

Bnet ACC: NovaTerra#1437

I play overwatch too if you guys wanna play. Yes, i just so happen to main D.VA (a Korean just like myself)

How this works Top

1. Longshot - w from further allowing you to slow from greater distance + it does bonus auto dmg. A lot easier to use your snipe with this
2. Holo Stability - the reason you want your holo to last longer is because you will get lethal decoy to do damage with you for a greater period of time for team fights or to scout an area
3. Sniper Master - If you just w and q properly and don't have inverted eyes your aim should be fine. Once you get 5 stacks it really starts hurting. A single w and q on a squishy will cause them to flee to heal when at full hp
4. Precision Strike - shorter cd than triple tap, unlimited range, aoe
5. Explosive Round - 50% to nearby enemies is HUGE with 75% bonus dmg snipe. I'm not sure exactly how much damage you do with full stacks but I think it's over 700 at level 16. Now half of that is 350 damage you're doing to EVERYONE near the person you q'd. You HAVE TO hit the hero for the stacks to remain. Hitting a creep and having the splash hit with snipe on the enemy champ won't suffice
6. Lethal Decoy - Given that you have max stacks, increased duration of your holo, and the splash dmg your q will be doing; your holo alone is enough to fool many into thinking he's the real nova. If you e w q an enemy right away chances are that he will be confused who is the real between the two of you and believe me the burst you will be doing along with your holo for the duration he's lasting will be immense.
7. Rewind - This is what makes you unbelievably ridiculous at late game. Use e w q then rewind and e w q again. In a teamfight, if your alive to pull this off i guarantee you that you will do CATASTROPHIC damage to the enemy. 2 holo doing snipe with max stacks at 40% damage + 50% of that damage is splash.

Early Game Top

Just w first then land your Q, since nova no longer has 20% more dmg in stealth there's no reason to try and snipe them while the enemy is moving freely. Slow the enemy down to land your Q for sure since later on you will be getting sniper master. Be sure to roam around and harass. I can't stress this enough though, always use w first then use your q to land your snipe. If there are champs that can do camps early like lost vikings or something be sure to check if they haven't been on your radar for too long.

Team Fights Top

Never engage first unless you know you can get back your cloak in time. Let your frontline take the damage from the enemy damage dealers and just target the most optimal person. That doesn't necessarily mean never go for the tank. If he's in your face and your team can back you enough to just take him down before he/she really gets to do anything than just do it. However, prioritize healer or their biggest damage threat to be neutralized first. It shouldn't be too difficult because you have a slow to assist you to easily q the correct direction, a holo that does damage that fools others who's basically 2/5 of what you are, you have SPLASH dmg snipe, and an ult that has unlimited range for those trying to run away. If you're ****ing up on this than use another simpler guide cuz idk what to say lol -_-

Late Game Top

Pick your battles wisely with your team
Just E W Q REWIND E W Q ULT
If you lose your stacks just remember that you have splash so you can easily wave clear at this point

Adaptations Top

Feel free to interchange between certain skills

Triple Tap is fine
Crippling Shot works too
As for as level 20 choice goes: All of them are fine, just your preference

As far as triple tap goes, you should really only get that if your team is just overwhelmingly snowballing and the ult itself alone nearly kills a champion. Another case where triple tap might be better is if they always have that one specialist trying to push hard while it's a 4v5. Nope, just go after the specialist, land your w and q and just ult. I guarantee you that champ is most likely going to die unless they have a heavy cc. Better off going with orbital strike because of few reasons
1. CD is significantly shorter (60 seconds)
2. Gets more than one target (aoe)
3. You are a terrible waveclearer. There are going to be times when you're just gonna have to use orbital strike to clear a huge wave and soak xp. At least until you get explosive round.

In most cases I wouldn't go Crippling Shot because I feel a decoy with max stacks of snipe that does aoe offers much more damage. Not just that it confuses enemies into thinking you may be the real deal and people do panic and use their cc's or burst on the clone LULZ. As far why I would go crippling shot at some points is because of
1. the 25% bonus damage helps your whole team. It can be used on structures or bosses to bring them down quickly.
2. While having lethal decoy in the long run will do more overall dmg, as far as single target dps goes, crippling shot with max stack snipe and rewind to rinse and repeat will decimate just about ANYONE. I have killed muradin in his tankiest form like this (when i have triple tap of course) O for those who are wondering if you use crippling shot then rewind to use it again, IT DOES NOT STACK
