- Always poke, but never initiate. You can't stun or hard cc, u depend on an initiator so u can follow up with ur burst to swiftly kill anyone.
- Never blink in for an engagement, u will have no escape and die before picking up Wormhole.
- Wormhole is ur best tool. Know that u can take a few steps after the 1st blink and land ur combos before blinking back out. Blinking in straight and combo and out just leaves u in a position that the enemies know where u are. But taking that few extra steps gains u a safety distance.
- Practice with the combos to get the most out of Focused Attack/Follow Through
- VP can be used defensively or offensively. Zone out the healers or tanks, but never try to force a VP it'll just cause more damage for ur team instead.
- Stack orbs. In small tri lane maps like Garden, Dragon Shire, TSQ, always roam from lane to lane for orbs. It helps ALOT in the long run.
- Never chase too far for a kill, even if it's a 1:1 trade unless ur team has a strong follow up and u can kill a crucial member of the enemy team.
Rewind provides the highest burst potential IF u are able to land them, but it is very hard to do so unless ur team has some hard CC like Muradin/Anub and other stunners. Alternatively, it is very potent to chase a double mage combo like Jaina/KT with a perfect burst on both targets to kill them.
Nexus Blades provides alot of value with the slow, providing chase potential for ur teammates to follow up.
It's a debate on which to pick, if ur team has enough hard CC for u to follow up ur combos then go Rewind, else Nexus Blades.
To get the most out of ur level 4/7 talents, practice makes perfect.
The idea combo with double bombs: Cleave > AA > Spike > AA > Spike > AA
The problem with some players they tend to spam everything in the small window before u blink out. Keep calm and landing these combos in succession provides a very high burst. It's a very noticeable difference once u get the hang of it.
