Illidan Stormrage, the Betrayer, is an Assassin hero from the Warcraft franchise.[1] The first Demon Hunter betrayed his people by creating a new well of eternity after the demonic invasion of Azeroth. Now Illidan lords over the realm of Outland slaughtering unsuitably prepared Heroes who venture into his domain.

Illidan is a highly mobile hero who darts around the battlefield, evading attacks and relentlessly pursuing enemies.

First let me start by saying that Illidan is a hero who needs a lot of practice before you can master it.Some people have lvl 10+ but still don't quite manage to succeed with him.So im gonna start the guide by telling you that map awareness is key and positioning is esential to Illydan players.The other most important thing that you should think about is your team composition.If you are gonna pick Illydan you have to be sure you will have 1 support minimum becouse later in game the game team fights revolve more around you considering that the HIGH SINGLE TARGET DPS will be coming out from you.So make sure you have a good comp or revolve around the support more in early stages of the game as you will be playing Illydan

The most important thing about Illydan are his mechanics he has a lot of escape abilties but dont get too cocky with him becose a team with good |CC or STUNS| will be the end of you.Make sure you practice the POKE combo by diving in with Sweeping strike using and diving back on a creep using but make sure you can target a creep to leap bakwards after the sweeping strike.Becouse if you get caught and they have a bit of burst you are as good as dead* !!!
Always stay back in figts dont be to hasty to jump in you will have plenty of time to wipe em out after all their ults and abilities are gone.Also with this build you will be able to SOLO hard camps on lvl 4 and it might be the edge that wins you the game.But think before you jump into fights because if you make the wrong engage this can cost not only your life but the lives of your team mates ! AWARNESS is ESENTIAL so keep an eye on the minimap at all times and rotate with 1 ally hero minimum.

Now it gets interesting. Illydan is a pub stomper if player correctly but u wont dish out as much DMG before LVL 10. is the ULT you wanna get it has high potential in fights and you can use it as an escape if the situation requires.

Look at these JUICY buffs the more you heroes you hit the better the ult gets.Bad side of it is that it has 120 seconds CD but wait till we cap LVL 20 then we can upgrade
Permanently remain in Demonic Form. Increases the Attack Speed bonus of Demonic Form to 30% and grants a 50% reduction in the duration of disabling effects. Lose the ability to mount, but gain 40% Movement Speed when out of combat for 6 seconds. This is gonan be big if u stay alive because it gives you a perm METAMORPHOSIS and you can dish the ULT DMG and HP gain again if needed. But make sure that when you jump the team follows thru otherwise you will be dead in 10seconds [/td

Keep playing till you get the hang of it.Nobody is born a perfect Illydan player just make sure you follow these simple things.
1.Pick heroes that can support you and be a benefit to you later in game like and OFC
2.Stay aware of you map and make sure you dont get jumped or ganked by roaming heroes or ganks
3.Lvl-4always clear a camp if you feel comfortable and your team doesnt need you ATM
4.Stay behind before engages(PUB GAMES ONLY)-If you have a full team on TS or Skype feel free to jump in first and with a good follow up a easy clean up is possible.
5.Don't be greedy it won't win you the game
