Among the angels it is the Archangel of Justice Tyrael who is humanity's greatest defender. Wielding his sword El'druin against the Burning Hells, the Prime Evils would have enslaved humanity long ago if Tyrael had not intervened.
Would definitely rate him as my favourite Warrior along side ETC and Artanis. Extremely fast and versatile. Does a great job at locking down kills... #1 requirement is an understanding from your team that, when you use Judgement, they need to collapse on the target, than Tyrael can start peeling and blocking for teammates. His move speed and shielding are incredibly deceiving and can make for quick escapes and saves for teammates.
Like others have mentioned, you have you keep in mind his support play, constantly throwing down smite for teammates that are running away, and El'druin to slow pursuers if need be and body block. A great character to play.
Probably second to Illidan for most misplayed Hero at the moment unfortunately. He's very strong but people have to understand his role is both support and tank. He can be tanky yeah but there are far harder to kill tanks in the game like Muradin and ETC, Tyreal can go down pretty quickly at the moment.
His strength though lies in being able to be an all around nuisance by shielding allies as much as possible, and "lock down" high priority targets with Judgement, using El'Druin to get around and never let up. He can be built like a shield battery, or even a pseudo assassin and still have enough tankiness to take some damage but Tyreal plays have gotta be decisive and fast imo.
