Before we start a small message for my good friend NepNep:

"Stanford Pines, the smarter twin. Always out to learn. While the two brothers always got on well, a simple accident was enough to tear 'em apart... Causing Ford to lose a chance at the university of his dreams this eventually lead him to Gravity Falls where he discovered numerous paranormal phenomena. Due to an unfortunate deal with a certain triangle, though, Ford asked his brother for help, who in a snap of rage sent Ford through an interdimensional portal, causing him to wander from dimension to dimenion for years. One of the dimensions he came across was the Nexus...."

Combat Trait

Polydactyly
Ford has polydactyly, thus having an additional finger on each hand. This lets him do hand-based work much easier, allowing him to channel abilities, objectives and warheads 100% faster, as well as letting him contest objectives and capture mercenary camps 50% faster.

Primary Abilities

Record findings
Cooldown:5 seconds

Activate to cause your next basic attack against an enemy hero to deal 200% more damage. After using the empowered attack, Ford will enter 'writing mode' for 2 seconds. During this he can either reactivate the ability to cancel it or use Journal 1 to channel for 4 seconds(2 due to trait) in order to write down infomation about the hero that was hit by the empowered attack.

Protective metal plate
Cooldown:15 seconds

Reinforce the metalic plate that is implanted in your head for the next 3 seconds. During this time, ford gains 10 armor and cannot be interupted from channeling. Additionally he becomes Unstoppable while contesting an objective or capturing a mercenary camp.

Can be cast while channeling.

(this is what allows Ford to become a force to be reckened with during objectives. No one will stop him, literally!)

Unicorn Barrier
Cooldown:16 seconds

Using a mix of moonstones, mercury and unicorn hair, Ford constructs a protective barrier at the target location. All allies that stand in it have the duration of all negative effects tick 50% faster and the duration of all posotive effects tick 50% slower. Additionally whenever an enemy inside the barrier is struck by a heroic basic attack they are knocked back a very short distance away from the caster. Lasts 4 seconds.


(although the knockback is really small, Ford's fast attack speed allows for the knock to add up quickly, giving him great zoning potential)

Secondary Abilities

Journal 1
Ford can write information about 1 enemy hero in Journal 1 using Records Findings. When a hero is written down, this abilty can be activated to reduce that hero's armor by 25 for 5 seconds on a 30 second cooldown. Only 1 enemy hero can be written in Journal 1 at a time. Ford will also gain a passive benefit based on the type of hero that is written down:
-Warrior: Ford recieves 25% reduced duration from stuns,roots,slows or silences.
-Assasin: Ford gains 10 armor.
-Support: Ford's basic attacks reduce the healing recieved by the target by 5%, up to 15% for 4 seconds.
-Specialist: Ford's vision radius is increased by 25% and he can see over terrain.


(this is your bread and butter and your main way of supporting your team in teamfights.)

Heroic Abilities

Memory Eraser
Cooldown:100 seconds

After 2 seconds(1 due to trait), Ford lauches a bolt from his Mind Eraser that travels forward, hitting the first enemy hero in its path and causing them to unlearn all of their talents. The affected hero will learn their taents again after 10 seconds or if either team levels up. Quest progress from forgotten talents is preserved.

If the bolt hits the physical form of Bill Cipher[Concept here:https://www.heroesfire.com/hots/concept/bill-cipher-9138(by sinraptor)], it will instead imediately destroy it and put Bill on a full death timer.

(Now this is the good stuff!Dedending on the hero you hit with this you can swing a teamfight in your favor just like that.)

Magnetic Pulse
Cooldown:100 seconds

Unleash a wide magnetic pulse from your Magnet gun, that travels across the battleground, dealing 1 damage to all enemies hit also stunning enemy heroes for 2 seconds. Additionally the pulse will create interfearence with all 'channelable' and 'capturable' stuff it come across, preventing enemies from channeling/contesting them for 5 seconds. Deals 60000% bonus damage to structures(AKA structures take 600 damage, I just wrote it in a fancy way).


(Alternatively Ford can become a global threat, dealaying and distrupting from across the map.)

LEVEL 1 TALENTS

Interdimensional Outlaw(Passive):!Quest: Basic attacking enemy heroes increases Ford's basic attack damage by 0.1.
!Reward:After basic attacking enemy heroes 100 times, Ford can now basic attack while moving.

Closed System(Passive):Ford's basic attacks deal 100% increased damage to minions, mercenaries and monsters, as well as splash to nearby minions mercenaries and monsters for 50% damage.

Skin-softening Light bulb (Active):Cooldown:30 seconds
Activate to place a Light bulb at the target location that reveals a large area arourd it for 30 seconds. Ford can also basic attack the Light bulb to extend its duration by 0.4 seconds. The Light bulb has 150 health.

Passive:Increases Ford's basic attack range by 2.

LEVEL 4 TALENTS

Conductive Metal(W): While Protective metal plate is active, Ford's basic attack damage is increased by 30%.

Stable Barrier(E): Increase the duration of Unicorn barrier by 2 seconds.

Interdimensional Chess(Trait):Cooldown:25 seconds
Ford can activate his trait to summon a giant impathable bishop at the target location that lasts 3 seconds. Can be cancelled.

LEVEL 7 TALENTS

Apprenticeship(Passive):!Quest: Stay near each individual ally hero for a total of 150 seconds each.
!Reward:Every time Ford completes the quest for one of the heroes, that hero's basic ability cooldowns are reduced by 10% and Ford's move speed is increased by 2.5%.
!Reward:After completing the quest for all ally heroes, reduce Ford's basic ability cooldowns by 3 seconds and increase his maximum health by 10%.

TRUST NO ONE(Active/Q):
The empowered basic attack from Record Findings can now hit mercenaries and if it does Ford can activate TRUST NO ONE during 'writing mode' to store a stack of TRUST NO ONE. Ford can use 2 stacks of Trust NO ONE to bribe the target non-boss mercenary, instantly deafeating them. Stores up to 8 stacks.

Journal 2(Active):
Ford can write information about 1 enemy hero in Journal 2 using Records Findings. When a hero is written down, this abilty can be activated to reduce that hero's armor by 25 for 5 seconds on a 30 second cooldown. Only 1 enemy hero can be written in Journal 2 at a time. Ford will also gain a passive benefit based on the type of hero that is written down:
-Warrior: Ford recieves 25% reduced duration from stuns,roots,slows or silences.

Multiple Journals can write information about the samae hero, but the armor reduction doesn't stack.

LEVEL 10 TALENTS

Fe 55(W):Basic attacks reduce the cooldown of protective metal plating by 0.2 seconds.

Force Field(E):Allies in the unicorn barrier gain 15 armor. This effect persists for 3 seconds after exiting the barrier.

Infinity sided die(Q):When you hit an enemy hero with the empowered basic attack from Record Findings, you will create an infinity sided die at their feet that explodes after 1 second, dealing 78 damage to all enemies hit and stuns them for 0.5 seconds.

LEVEL 16 TALENTS

Billproof your minds!(W): The effects of Protective metal plate are now applied to all ally heroes in a small area around Ford.

Journal 3(Active):
Ford can write information about 1 enemy hero in Journal 3 using Records Findings. When a hero is written down, this abilty can be activated to reduce that hero's armor by 25 for 5 seconds on a 30 second cooldown. Only 1 enemy hero can be written in Journal 3 at a time. Invinsible ink(E):Ally heroes that enter the unicorn barrier gain steath, that persists for 8 seconds after exiting the barrier. While stealthed, stand still for 1.5 seconds to become invisible.

LEVEL 20 TALENTS

Brainwash(Heroic):Mind Eraser can be shot on ally heroes to erase their talents.If used on an ally, the cooldown of Mind Eraser is reduced by 50 seconds and once the effects expire, that ally can pick an new set of talents.

The natural law of weirdness magnetism(Heroic):Whenever magnetic pulse hits an enemy hero or structure, it creates a magnetic field around them for 2 seconds, that pulls nearby enemy heroes towards its center.

Quick notes(Active): Reduces the cooldown of your journals by 20 seconds.

Soft Skin(Active):
Skin-Softening Light bulbs heal nearby ally heroes for 102 health per second.

Requires the talent 'skin-softening Light bulb'.

Great job! This is an amazing concept! I love the idea of channeling faster, and the Memory Gun is really creative! Though if I would chance something, them it would be to make him channel 50% faster instead of 100% and remake the unstoppable channeling ability (a little too good, don't you think?). Anyway, nice concept!
