Johanna Heroes like Johanna can be a nuisance for Dehakas using this build as blinds will both shut down your ability to deal any damage, and at level 20, it will effect your self sustain.

Tracer Characters like Tracer are great threats to this build as well, as they can avoid any and all his damage if Dehaka were to miss his grab.
10
Ana Ana is, above all, the best counter to a Dehaka using this build, and probably other builds as well. The ability to shut down Dehakas healing can screw up all his plans and easily kill off an otherwise tanky hero.

Ana Ana is a great threat to any Dehaka build, however she does not take the top spot as you will normally want to take this build if you have at least one healer on your team to back you up.

The Butcher Butcher and other heroes like him take the top spot in this build as you will have no way to prevent his burst damage if you do not already have a few stacks of essense. If butcher focuses you first, then it is crucial to seek help from one of your healers asap, or to kill a hero or two to start regeneration.

Brawler Build Top

Brawler Build is sufficient against teams that consist of at least 3 or more melee focused heroes. Using Tissue Regeneration allows for Dehaka to gain 60% basic damage from Primal Rage, drastically increasing his damage potential. Adaptation is taken to give yourself a self-heal and not waste essence, so you can keep dealing damage and win a duel. Paralyzing Enzymes and Essence Claws are wanted so you can basic whichever enemy you want to burst down as much as you can. Feeding Frenzy is taken to synergize with Paralyzing Enzymes, so the more you basic, the more you slow, the more you basic, so on. Overall, this build is great for having 1v1s and 1v2s with enemies that rely on basics. This build is countered by long-range mages and enemies that can easily escape your grasp.

Anti-Mage Build Top

Anti-Mage build excels at tanking damage from mage heavy teams. Running right in front of enemy with Enduring Swarm, Symbiosis, and Primal Swarm can keep your team safe, keep yourself alive for a drastic amount of time and kill off the enemy team easily if you have multiple assassins capitalizing on the opportunity. Isolation can be used to shut down either their teams strongest mage to keep yourself alive a little longer, or their healer, making it easier to kill them off. Apex Predator is used to keep get yourself into the fight as much as possible so team fights are a breeze for the entire team. This build is not suggested if the enemy team has less than 1 ability reliant hero.
