explanation for the talends Top

1 : to have some dmg to wave clear and camps

2 : to have enough speed for a easy chase
or
: to have the opportunity so disengage

3 : to get a bit more sustain

4 : for the engage and the lifebonus

5 : so you have some resistants if you engage

6 : if you focusing a singel target you can strike him down a bit faster + you can deal some good dmg against tanks if you need to

7 : for the attack speed and the duration of disabling effects.

Side note: Top

depending on the situation you might wanna take friend or foe instead of rapid chase.

A few words Top

im playing since the Beta of heros of the storm,
and nearly since than, i enjoy playing .
Befor they patched the game i played with first aid and blood for blood, because of the awsome sustain, but after they removed both talends, i was pretty confused what to choose and i finaly found a nice build to compensate the lack of sustain with a good amount of bonus dmg. with that build, you'r not just getting all the kills, you will also deal a lot of hero dmg.
